I was charged 117 CAD on a 357 CAD order for three pairs of shoes shipping from the U.S. this is 33% of the value!
These charges are not warned about during the shopping process, in order to find out about them on ASOS, you have to search through the FAQ's however, they should be mentioned from the checkout section so people are aware before purchasing.
And no, it is not because they only apply to certain references. Costumer service told me that all of the shoes bought in Canada are shipped from the US warehouse, which means, ALL their products are subject to this "fee"
They also have a 15 percent discount for Canadian shoppers, precisely because of these outrageous charges, that is not advertised anywhere unless you spend time surfing through the FAQ's. Why?! Why don't they advertise it?
Perhaps they don't want people to find out about the charges before purchasing? (Sounds like they're scamming people to me).

Honestly don't order from them. Wrong item sent value of $13 instead of my $150 jacket. Sent my items back, but it was "worn" so no refund. $20 to ship back btw.
I ordered a pair of pants size w26 and I received a w34. I thought "ok I'm going to send them an email saying what happened and I hope they will help out" well guess what!? They want me to pay even for the return (22.20$ For Canada post as if I'm made of gold and as if it was my fault!) they didn't do anything for THEIR OWN MISTAKE! I'm never ever gonna buy anything from this site anymore, it sucks, the costumer service even more! I spent a ton of money for the pants and now I have to pay even for the return? No!
The delivery is long, product are very cheap and different from pictures and there is extra fees to pay at destination. I don't recommend.
Every time I shop here they cause me stress. Spending your money should not be this hard. They do not pay their staff enough to care, so I have received incorrect and soiled goods, and then they refuse to rectify it and repeatedly send the same stock message if you ever manage to contact them. Right now, I am without the item I have paid for (which I was explained, can take up to three different delivery attempts, on the NEXT DAY DELIVERY, joke). I am expecting to be conpensated for the way your customer care is treating people, lying to their faces, and giving false promises, such as a call back.

I have been trying to return a dress I ordered for a while now and problems keep occurring! Firstly, a label that I can put on the package to return it is not available, which makes the whole process take a lot longer. I should also mention that I could not locate my package and when I repeatedly asked for help I received none! It is a miracle that the package was later dropped off and I received what I had ordered. The customer service of Asos is really not the best. Bear in mind, this is probably the tenth email I have sent to Asos about this dress, and my patience is wearing thin! It seems as though I have been part of an elaborate scam, and all I want is my £25 pounds in return money.
When I tried to go through the return process, Switzerland was not an option as a country even though I ordered the dress to Switzerland! I also signed up for the one where the post-service collects it from your home, but when I tried to enter the address, only drop-off points were suggested! Yet another lie. Even when I selected a drop-off point close to my home, the website kept sending me back to the address section, even though I had selected a drop off point and it looked as though address details were not necessary anyway. I am so tired of trying to send the dress back but will keep trying as if I give up, only Asos will profit from being so difficult. I have sent many polite emails about this particular dress but my patience is wearing thin and I am receiving NO HELP. The reasons for the return are that the dress arrived too late for the event, and when it arrived the quality of the material was dreadful and the shape ghastly.
I really hope that some kind of help will be offered, as if I cannot return this dress, I will never order from Asos again. They have a total lack of respect for their paying customers, and I have neither the time nor money to be constantly dealing with this issue.
I ordered shoes that didn't fit so I tried to send them back and get a refund... after weeks of trying to get a return slip I finally sent them off. Weeks past and still noting, I tried to contact them multiple times and nothing happened. After three months waiting for my refund they finally sent me an email saying it was on its way. That was two months ago and I still haven't gotten my refund and they won't get back to me from ALL the emails I have sent them. This company is $#*!. Do not shop here they have terrible customer service! I don't think i'll ever get my refund I deserve and I will never be shopping or referring this company to anymore and I will be advising people not to shop here. Giving you one star is generous...

I bought 4 pieces of clothing (2 tops, a pair of jeans, and leggings) which they told me would take around a week to ship. All of my purchases ended up coming 2 days early and were all fairly nice quality. I was a little concerned with the pants because I bought them size 'tall' but I am 5'11 and sometimes 'tall' can still be too short. However, the pants fit great and were by-far long enough. Now I live in Chicago so I am not sure if living in an urban city helped my order arrive faster, but overall I really enjoyed shopping with ASOS!
Bought the ASOS DESIGN denim jacket article *******. Looked good and not too expensive.
Received the product just fine. But guess what? There are pieces of loose cloth on the inside of the jacket where you would expect pockets. The sides are sewn shut which is okay but no bottom and the jacket is single layer denim so unfixable without seeing stitches on the outside. A jacket without ANY pockets. And they call that ASOS DESIGN? I call it ASOS Idiocy. Will never buy ASOS again.
I stumbled across ASOS.com 1.5 years ago and have been religiously shopping there. They have a great return policy - Free returns within 30 days. Their clothes are not as consistent in size and quality, but I find more cute clothes than not. They have such a large array of clothes!
The cons about shopping here is that your items will most likely always arrive much later than the expected arrival date. But I honestly don't mind that issue. Also, I encountered an issue once, where they shipped the wrong size on an item that I purchased with a 30% off code. When I informed them that it was their mistake and that they should honor me the 30% off code for the right size, they didn't honor it. That was a frustrating experience, but I only encountered that one issue in the span of a year of continually shopping with them. If that was my first experience with this company, I would not continue shopping there. But since the positives outweigh the negatives, I will continue spending my money shopping here.

I had the settings to the Canadian site, in CAD and they still charged me USD, and the duty fees are just outrageous. It should have only been $275 and if I pay the duty fees it would be $536. Over 40% higher than the site said. I am not even picking up the package, this way they can't charge me for return fees, b/c the package was never picked up. I would not be more disappointed and I am warning everyone! ASOS WILL try and rip you off even when you set the site to your currency. OUTRAGEOUS

I don't know where you buy from, but I live in Italy and it doesn't take more than 4-5 working days for them to deliver the package. If you're concerned about the quality, well, it's not really top-notch, but considering the price it's really good (you can't expect Max Mara quality from a shirt you paid 20 euros). As for the fit be careful because those are UK sizes and they are definitely NOT vanity sizing! Meaning: when you read "model pictured wears UK 8" you may think "they're lying, she's clearly a 6" but they're actually not in most cases. I have a body similar to that of most of their models, I ordered size 6 twice and it was a tiny bit small. So size accordingly. All in all I trust them and I like their product. Perfect low-cost site to shop from online.

Answer: You have to be a careful shopper. Check the fabric content! I just purchased Is 4 pairs of cargo pants. Same style, different colors. They are 100% cotton and excellent quality. I also purchased things by topshop and free people on this site. Asos has its own brand but sells others. Returns are effortless so I don't know why so many people are complaining. I have very high standards and they haven't let me down yet.
