I ordered shoes online and when I received them they didn't fit so I went to the store to return them and I was unable to due to the fact they don't take back shoes that were purchased offline. Nowhere online or in the store it says this. When I called to talk to someone they said I can return the shoes back but I will have to pay for shipping for the return. I paid for the shoes to be shipped to me now I got to pay to return them! I will never buy shoes or anything else from Ashley's! Very DISAPPOINTED in this store.
First time ordering from A. S and I was legit excited like wow fashionable clothes for plus size women ok. I'm in school for fashion design so believe me when I say I know how to correctly measure myself. I wanted them a little lose fitting so I sized up a few sizes which should have fit me perfectly. The dress I ordering was tight and looked disgusting! The shorts I ordered didn't even fit like? Are you kidding me? Both of the items were extremely cheap. A. S customer service is extremely $#*!ty. They told me I could return them and get $1 back even though I just spent 100+. I will never order anything from Ashley stewert again. Now I'm stuck with extremely cheap clothes I can't even wear. BEWARE AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS $#*!HOLE OF A COMPANY

Just opened an account and called with questions concerning and service was not great. I'm hoping this isn't indicative of Ashley Stewarts customer service in the future.
I am so disappointed in this company. I shopped with them for the first time, and picked out 2 cute dresses. When my order arrived, one dress was correct, but the other item was something completely different - a shirt that didn't even match the picture on my packing slip. I emailed the company the day I received the package to ask about correcting the order. I got an email back saying "return it to us then we'll refund you and you can (try) to re-order what you wanted. Oh, but if you use our shipping label we will keep $8 of your refund.". So, not only did they send me the wrong item, they then expect me to PAY for the shipping back to them, then PAY SHIPPING AGAIN if i try to re-order the original item I wanted. I don't mind shipping the wrong item back, mistakes happen. But charging me for it then having the gall to tell me to reorder the correct item and pay additional shipping? Nah bro. I also tried to call them a few times at the phone number on the packing slip, during their stated business hours, and it rang busy every time I tried. Unless someone contacts me to fix this, this will be my first and last experience with this company.
I swore by Ashley Stewart's line of clothing years ago. I was pleased with every business suit or casual outfit i bought. I would recommend them every chance I got to every plus size woman I knew. Well, for the past two years, it has been hit or miss, and lately the quality fit and styles have been declining. I have bought so many pieces that are very poor quality, poor fit and horrible styles... nothing like they appear on the models in the photos on their website. Yet, I have remained loyal hoping for improvement in the production and quality of their products, To date, I have not seen any improvements, am not satisfied with my purchases, and my finances have suffered as I continue to buy from A, S, hoping to see improvement in the quality of the clothing. Of late, I've also experienced problems completing purchases online, and God forbid you try to get someone to help after certain hours and on the weekends. Immediate overall improvement is urgent, or Ashley Stewart is history.

I don't know long some of you are shopping with Ashley Stewart as well as ordering on line I can have only good reviews for them, I recently shopping and ordering clothes from them during the summer during May to now October, 2018 I can only say I order n Monday I receive the shipments by wednesday afternoon. The quality of the dresses are excellent as well as their skirts and top. I call their customer service they are nice and helpful as well when I stop by in their store their salesperson are very friendly. To me they made me a very fashionable as heavy size dress woman due to medical conditions, Women of Large Size, please don't let negative of Ashley Stewart keep you away from their store step up and enter one of their stores and have your own experiences and Be dressed beautiful.
I made a purchase with Ashley Stewart online on 10/28/17 using my paypal account via my debit card. I took the merchandise to the store to make a return and they would not do it. I was told I have to pay postage to return it back to the warehouse. This is ridiculous. Why have paypal available as a method of payment if your store is not set up to refund the payment back accordingly. I called this company numerous times before finally getting a rep (Linda) who would not accommodate me at all. She stated there is nothing they can do which is bull. They could have waived the $8 charge and/or gave me an $8 credit on my account.
This store does not care about customer service and I'd advise you not to shop with them to avoid issues such as this. I suggested they remove the paypal payment method since they are not going to allow returns of said merchandise at the store because they clearly are not capable of handling this method of service.
I will not shop with this company again and will remove them from e-mailing me in the future.
I placed an order on November 18,2022 upon checking the website. I realize that they had the wrong address for shipping. I have been shopping with Ashley Stewart for a long time and my last four orders were sent to my current address. The newest order Was sent to my old address. I found this out after checking the website and not seeing any updates. I called customer service spoke to a representative and was told that my package has been delivered to my old address. When I initially saw that the address was wrong. I called into customer service and was told not to worry that it was coming to my current address just like the rest of my other orders. I called today and even spoke with management and was told I have to wait 10 business days on an investigation and basically it was nothing else that they were going to do. I ordered this stuff for an event that is happening 12/04/2022. The only thing they offered me was free shipping which you get that anyway. And 10% off I am highly pissed and would not recommend you spend your money with this company. I'm out of my money and I don't have my merchandise and it may be Christmas before I get the merchandise or my money back. This is very unacceptable and I am highly upset.
Ashley Stewart on-line is the FREAKING worse. The quality is horrible and then they took my money twice for delivery charges. I paid for the return because I never received a return label, paid for the return at USPS and they still deducted the amount. WTF. It's not about the amount of was about the principal.
I can't speak for everyone else experience only mine I always have a great experience my clothes are always the true fit and I received in a timely manner always I love the quality of your merchandise and you are great you have my business and I will continue to shop with you.
Order four items on Monday (CYBER MONDAY) 11/27/17 at 11:00AM. Today is 121/7/17 I've sent three emails from my personal email account, 2 Facebook messages and 2 inquiries from within the Ashley Stewart Online Ordering portal. Still no package and no responses to any of my inquiries regardless the platform used. I hate to give up this credit card... but this is not the only problem I've had with them... JUST THE WORSE!
Shipping is the worst I order item on 11/27/2017 not received yet was told by customer service that they havei no idea when it is going to leave the warehouse I said I need the outfit for 12/9/2017 for a Christmas party the way she explain it to me Ill have it probably after new year and if I want to send it back I have to make sure to tell them that Im sending. The purchase process was pretty painless, pretty good selection of items but the prices are about high. I've always only shopped in the store and have always been pleased. Unfortunately my recent experience was less than pleasurable. One of the items that I purchased didn't look the way I expected and I decided to return it--which I thought would be an easy process--because I used PayPal for my purchase I was unable to return the item to the store which was fine by me but because my package did not include a packing slip I had no info on how to make my return. I emailed customer service after having multiple issues accessing the info on the website and had even more trouble getting a response by email. I finally had to call and was able to speak with a very helpful CSR who refunded me the shipping cost for the inconvenience. My suggestion is that if you purchase from this site DO NOT use PayPal that way you can return directly to the store with no issue and if your package doesn't include the packing slip call customer service do not email them it will take forever.
I placed and order on February 12th and today is February 28th. It said my order as shipped and they even gave me a UPS tracking number. They also charged my card I've had the tracking number since the 14th and UPS to this day still doesn't have my order. I called several times on this order and was told 3 different delivery dates. I tried Tuesday and they said I couldn't cancel the order because it already shipped. Well today I was told it never left the warehouse and that it would be here on 3/3/20. I told them to cancel my order and refund my money. They are liars and Linda is rude.
Over the last few months or so, I have purchased almost a thousand dollars of merchandise from Ashley Stewart in the store, and online. Because they have trendy fashions, I thought that Ashley Stewart would be my new go-to store until recently. In the actual store, the employees are NOT friendly and a bit rude overall. I have gone to 3 of their stores and 2 of the stores had very rude employees. They all can use some customer service/ people skills training. When ordering online, I often order several sizes of the same item and return the ones that do not fit. Their online order process is misleading - BUYERS BEWARE, their website says that items can be returned to their stores but if you do, the employees refuse to take the merchandise even though the same exact items are in the store. I have done online orders with other companies and returned items to the associated brick and mortar store without issue, but that is not the case at Ashely Stewarts. Their staff refuses to take back items even though the customer service representative and the website clearly say it is possible to do so. Matter of fact, the last item I attempted to return, the cashier did not even bother to look at the invoice. She flat out refused to give me a refund simply because it was an online order. It's as if the online store is a totally different company from their brick-and-mortar store. Perhaps since the service in their stores is so bad, they should just simply close them. They have lost a customer in-store and online.
I decided to give Ashley Stewart a try and I sincerely regret it. I purchased undergarments and none of them fit right. The butterfly bras are permanently stuffed and make my boobs look unreal in size. I know my bra size, but these cups are super big and they don't keep my girls in place. Wire bras are painful, but the 4 small wires on each side make wearing this bra painfully painful. It will not be a good day if you're wearing the butterfly bra all day... if you can make a full day. I like the concept of the butterfly bra, but it's a no for me. The instructions say machine wash, but I only got to wear it one time because the metal hook that connect the front bra strap to the back bra strap broke, it's not fixable unless you have an industrial sewing machine. And their panties don't get tighter as you wash them... they get more loose. I also purchased a bracelet that turned penny cooper in a matter of days. I thought it would last a month at the most, but it didn't. I will NEVER buy from A. S. again.
I purchased the gold chain belt and the quality was definitely not worth the price. I expected the chain to be heavier for the price I paid. The belt could be worth 5$

Placed an online order on 9/1/19. Called customer service on 9/14/19 and told the rep I was calling to check on my order. Order number and mailing/billing address etc were given. Rep pulled up the information and stated that she had to place me on hold to do more investigating After holding for 22 minutes, the Rep said that the package didn't have any tracking information so there was nothing she could do about the order. She offered to put the money back on my card and stated that it would take 5-7 business days for it to show. I told the rep that I was still wanting the items but most were on sale at the time of purchase. I asked if I could get my new order for the price of my previous order. The rep told me NO, I would have to get them for whatever the price is today. She then said that she have no way of changing the prices. I told her that other stores would at least send an email offering some money/percentage off on the next purchase. She said we don't have discount cards. With all that being said. Ashley Stewart did nothing to rectify the problem. I will not be ordering from here again.
I ordered several hundred dollars worth of clothes for my upcoming vacation. It all hinged on a waist trainer I also purchased from them. Imagine my displeasure when all my items came except the waist trainer! I called to inquire and the lady was rude before I could barely tell her what happened. She began by saying and I quote "Dont even think of returning your stuff, cus you bought it on clearance and its not returnable. So you cant return it!" Oh wow, who said anything about returns?
And this brings me to my next point: All the stuff I purchased except for a couple pieces were OBVIOUSLY previously worn and were returns. If I could post pictures I would. I purchased two pair of shoes and the bottoms showed obvious wear of someone walking in them. Completely scuffed! One, may be a fluke (not really). But two?! A dress showed thick straps in the advert, had none when it arrived! I have a feeling at some point AS got purchased and turned over to Jhina, cus back in the day their clothes (even sale items) were the bomb. Now they are the bomb for the wrong reason. Iv moved all my business to Layne Bryant. Ill never shop AS again.
