We purchased two high end appliances from them during a sale. Based on our following experience, I would advise to stay clear. By the phones calls that pursued, I would conclude this is an India run fast make a buck sales setup,

The order was placed late one evening well past working hours. The next morning we found out the $550 microwave wasn't going to fit our new cabinets so I called them (very early in the morning). I was told it was too late to cancel because it had already shipped and at a distribution center, which I know was impossible given the time frame. I asked about cancelling it in transit so we didn't have to mess with a return. They said they could do that but either way it would cost us to cancel. With no other choice we agreed. Weeks went by and still no refund. I kept calling and kept getting the run around. Finally well over a month had past and I called our credit card company and asked them to step in. We were refunded, minus a cancellation charge.

The second appliance we ordered was a Summit two drawer refrigerator/freezer. We weren't home when it was delivered. We looked over the box and it all seemed fine so we didn't open it until two weeks later when the remodel was ready for it. Before we even took off the blue wrapping, my husband found a dent in the side. That wasn't even the worst of it. When the top drawer was pulled out, it wouldn't go back in. Once again I began the calls to get help. One promise after another and nothing resolved. I bought it from them, but they are not standing behind it. They are telling us to work with the manufacturer to get it fix. The other option was to pay for a second one, at over $2K, and after it was delivered they would remove the old one and credit us. Not only do I not trust them to do that, the item is on back order and who knows how long it would take to get. This is still not resolved, and they have washed their hands of us, so we'll see if we need help from the credit card company again. Did I mention that early on their solution to this problem was to give us a $50 in store credit?

Appiance Connection refused to deliver what I paid for. With neither excuse, nor compensation.

I ordered a gas range from Appliance Connection through Sears. The order included delivery, installation, and hauling away the old one.
First, the product did not arrive on the promised day. We waited at home the whole day as the delivery window was 9AM to 7PM -- no one came, no one called, and calling customer support did not help as they claimed to be unable to contact the shippers.
After several interchanges, the gas range arrived 3 days later, with apologies but no installation.
After two weeks of calling and exchanging message, I still do not know why they did not connect the gas range to the gas pipe -- a simple job for $139, There are 3 actors involved -- Sears, Appliance Connection, and AM Tracking, the delivery company -- each is blaming the other one. I live in Truckee, CA, a relatively remote area and it is hard to find an expert here.
Finally, today Appliance Connection declared they would refund the installation -- adding insult to injury.
I have a box with the gas range sitting in the garage and no way to install it.

Con artists
April 21, 2021

Purchased a recliner. Recliner damaged at there warehouse, hence forth the note that was attached to chair that stated,,,,,, repackage recliner still attached to it,,,,, frame is bent and is not fucntional. Wanted refund and chair picked up. Offered a discount. Refused, been a month and they still say they are working on it. You all have been warned if you do business with this scam of a company. Dont say I didnt tell you so.

AVOID THIS COMPANY

Purchased Dishwasher and Installation. Three weeks, told DW was out of stock, so they sold us an alternative. Delivery date... truck driver did not use truck route but instead of correcting his mistake, he blew us off and didn't deliver. A week later, delivered and badly installed. DW would not turn on. Delivery refused to take it back and left us with a bad machine and took our old one. I insisted that they give us back our old DW and take back the bad one, and they refused. I refused to sign. Driver threatened me. We called police. We called App Connection, told our story, they claimed no responsibility for quality of installation and delivery guy's behavior, even though we paid AC directly for delivery and installation. They said they would send a truck back to pick up the bad DW "when it's in your area next", but we haven't heard from them nor received the refund promised. AVOID THIS COMPANY!

I ordered a dishwasher and when the truck came they said they couldn't find a parking space so they couldn't bring in the dishwasher. This was a first for me. Then when they figured out how to park they said they couldn't install the dishwasher b/c I didn't have the right electrical hook up. They rushed off, appearing to never have intended to install the dishwasher. When I called to inquire about the installation service I had paid for the, not so nice, woman on the phone told me I have the wrong plumbing hook up and I didn't qualify for installation. So now I have problematic plumbing and electrical set up. When I brought a plumber out to install the dishwasher, he shared the hook was as straightforward as they come. Also when I said I wanted them to take back the dishwasher they said sure, for a $250 shipping fee. Awesome!

Defective Furniture
April 4, 2021

I ordered furniture from Appliance Connection. When I got it, it was broken underneath. I opened a hole and stuck a camera under the couch. The photos revealed broken wood in the frame of the couch. I sent pics to A. C. and a string of emails ensued. From Oct 2020 until April 2021 they have told me repeatedly that I would get a refund. Then they just disappear. I open a ticket, and make a call and they promise again it will be handled. I speak to Victoria. The last email promised I would get my refund in 48 hours. I got that in Feb, it is now April. I called today, first they said Victoria was there. They then transferred me to Bill. He said she will be there tomorrow. It is just never ending. I deserve a refund for broken merchandise.

Washer and Dryer Purchase
March 23, 2021

I purchased a Washer and Dryer from Appliances Connection in August 2020. By December I had still not received it. I kept being told that they had not received any from the manufacturer. Finally in mid December I was told the dryer was in but not the washer. I kept asking to speak to someone up the food chain as everyone I spoke to said there was nothing they could do. I finally spoke to a manager who I proposed the idea of splitting the difference of the cost of an upgrade on the washer as they had that one in stock. The upgrade would be $437.16 thus being $218.58 each. At first he told me no and that this whole situation was not his problem. I told him it was his problem as he sold me the washing machine and that I would be forced to give him a bad review since he refuse to help or take any responsibility. He then basically told me that he was cancelling my order and go somewhere else. He knew I didn't want to go anywhere else because I had got a really good deal on the set. After, talking a bit he agreed to upgrade me for $300.00. I was immediately sent an invoice for an upgrade for $300 which included sales tax of $137.16 on an out of state sale. My original invoice had no sales tax on it. I immediately tried to call back and every time I called in I was hung up on. I emailed in and told them they were not authorized to charge my card the $137.16. They never answered me. Next thing I know the washer and dryer shows up. Once the washer and dryer shows up two weeks later, they answer my email and tell me they are sorry but due to a new policy they have to charge sales tax. Well this amount is not conducive to the sales tax percentage and there is no sales tax on out of state sales. They just basically stole $137.16 from me. I would have given these guys a good word had they taken care of me. I understand COVID has been hard but they flat out stole money from me. Please beware of doing any business with these people.

Don't trust this company! They said professional installation included... didn't happen. Company installed an appliance that was not compatible with our kitchen. Then our 30-day warranty and exchange expired because we were waiting for service team to find resolution. Very big disappointment. Spent big cash and got zero service!

We bought a fridge, paying extra for shipping and install. The Fisher&Paykel fridge from New Zealand is EXCELLENT, and App.Con. Was the only place we could find it. When it arrived, shippers said they were not allowed to install or bring inside. Contacted App.Con, L. Said "oh, one of the few zip codes we can't..." Well, why do they not have a list of those zips? After MUCH hassle and time on the phone, they refunded shipping and install and offered a 10 year warranty.and gave us $25. For inconvenience. $25.? It cost us $160. To have local people install it. Bait and switch; we may well not have bought had we known the added cost. Insult to injury, Appl.Con. Said "that's all we can do." That line is standard for customer nonservice meaning "that's all we want to do for you." I will not bore anyone with the number of emails and photos of different numbers they asked for to set up the warranty, which we finalized today, working on this issue consistently for over a month.
At the same time (covid killed our appliances) we bought a freezer from them. It arrived dented. We immediately called V. at App.Con. "Send pictures. We will work with you. We can refund you 5-20%." We asked for immediate email confirmation of what she said, she said, "I'll email you now." She never did. We kept asking for help; with each request we waited several days and got emails: "You are now in our queue for responding. You should hear from us in 48-72 hours." So we stopped sending requests and finally got a series of "we have closed your other case numbers to decrease confusion at our end." They never gave us the case numbers they were closing so we couldn't keep track. Finally they offered15% off and a 10 yr warranty. In the midst of the 10 year warranty set up for the fridge--see above--we asked for 20% off. "I'll check with my manager." Finally we got that. I will NEVER work with app. Con. Again. They immediately are there for you when asking questions about products and helping you purchase. Then they disappear, promise things that never happen, give the wrong info which cost us, are a pain in the butt.

Website is easily navigable, pricing is competitive. Actual purchase never received because their shipper simply doesn't show up to deliver, never reschedules and neither the shipper nor Appliancesconnection responds to phone calls or emails.

When I placed the order, I reached out to them and made it very clear that I didn't mind waiting as long as it took for the item to ship and deliver, but I am disabled and need someone else to be in the home for receiving the item so I needed a concrete delivery window. They said they understood and it would be no problem with shipping and delivery. I paid a substantial surcharge for delivery with that understanding.

My experience has been that the scheduled and confirmed delivery time was a no-call no show. When I followed up with them, there was no-one available to discuss it in customer service or shipping, no reschedule of delivery planned, no-one available at either the shipping company or Appliancesconnection who could explain or answer any questions, despite it being within their published business hours.

They do not answer emails or return phone calls within the time frames published on their website.

I strongly advise anyone who wants to receive the item they have ordered (or even get email communication other than a plague of ads) to NOT purchase from these folks if the delivery location is more than 50 miles from their warehouse. Avoid avoid avoid.

Beware
March 10, 2021

I ordered a Fisher and Paykel gas range. It was during President weekend and I was able to get a free dishwasher. After a month I received both items. I really like the range and the Fisher and Paykel dishwasher is growing on me. My complaint and reason for 0 rating and if I could give them -10 I would. Receiving the dishwasher I received stainless steel panel a week later. The panel was not the right one ( ordered correct one through Best Buy). I called Appliances connection and a rep said she would refund me for the panel & email me a return slip since they couldn't get the correct one for me. I was happy with that and like I said ordered the correct one through Beat Buy. After several days and no email I called and asked where my return slip was and they said I n Ed to send pictures and follow protocol. I said I was told by rep from last conversation that return email was on it's way. Lady said no we didn't receive photo's after you didn't follow protocol. I said I didn't receive protocol. I asked to speak with a manager and the manger said turn us into to Attorney General and your credit Card company and didn't want to hear anything I had to say and hung up on me. I called back and rep said if I return the item that I will forfeit my discount (1200+). Here Is the email of protocol to return an item. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE SCREWED!

6. Please provide clear photos of the requested return product(s), photos needs to zoomed in and zoomed out showing product condition and original packaging.

I ordered $3500 worth of appliances from these people on December 29th 2020. As of March 6th 2021 they are yet to be delivered. I can not believe the absolutely absurd pace of their shipper and their warehouse. I get that Covid-19 is slowing things down, but seriously! I have received many orders from other companies during this same time and they have not been this slow. In taking this up with their "customer service dept." I am just fed excuse after excuse.

Buyer Beware
March 5, 2021

Do not buy anything from this company. I purchased a $2500. ILVE stove. The short of it, the installers broke the stove. The stove has been sitting in my living room broken for three weeks. The company will not rectify the situation. A manager will NOT speak to me. I have been told I CANNOT return the stove the installers broke. Now I do not know what to do except get my attorney involved. Don't buy from this company! Report this company to the BBB and the Attorney General. Fraud and price Gauging!

California buyers be warned. Look closely at your receipt.

BestBuy, Goedeker's, Build.com and other appliance sellers (including those on eBay and Amazon) charge sales tax based on destination delivery. AppliancesConnection not does. If your billing address lies in a higher sales tax district, they will charge that rate instead and attempt to pocket the difference.

Try to complain and point that their sales tax collection is neither standard nor consistent with guidelines, and they will ignore you with dismissive one-sentence replies. Their statement "We look forward to serving you" evidently is as deceitful as their business practices.

Take your business elsewhere unless you enjoy paying unwarranted surcharges.

I ordered my items on 8/30/21. The shipping date has been moved 9 times! Today is 12/4/21 and I still have not received the items. They have put me through the ringer and back as a consumer. Promising shipment dates that have come and are long gone. They consistently have an excuse as to why, although I've paid in full for the items, they are unable to locate the items or ship the items. Wow! How does the State board not get involved and put a stop to such an ethical business? Consumers take head that although appliances connection website provides an estimated shipping date prior to purchase, it will not meet the shipping date; Not by days, weeks, or even months after, that's been the case in my experience with Appliances connection. I will never ever order another product from them- ever again.

I ordered a Miele dishwasher ($2000) over a month ago, and a day before it was supposed to be delivered, I reached out to customer services to confirm the delivery time. I was then told the order is delayed another 5 weeks. Keep in mind they did not proactively reach out to me to let me know, I had to call them on my own to get this info.

When I was on the phone with the customer service agent, she literally just hung up on me. It is unreal how bad this company is.

I strongly advise you do not purchase anything from them.

Avoid These Unethical Frauds.

I spent almost 2200 dollars on a Miele Dishwasher with these people. To be sure of success I added "White Glove" installation to my order. Sadly, their "White Glove" people knowingly installed my dishwasher with a concave dent in the top. After using the unit for several days we knew there was something wrong with the unit so we had a Miele service rep come check it out and he pulled the unit out and documented a big dent in the top, which explained why the top sprayer was hitting the cutlery tray. I'm now weeks into dealing with their customer service agents who tried to get me to sign an RMA that stated that I was responsible for shipping the unit back to them and paying for it, even though their people KNOWINGLY installed it damaged and didn't tell me or bring it to my attention. I come from an era where customers were never treated like this and it's incredible to me that a company could treat customers buying relatively high-ticket items and paying extra for "white glove" installation with such poor service. I have been talking to Miele and hoping to resolve the issue with them and Amex but what a nightmare. These guys are totally unethical and will treat you like dirt and do it on your dime. Don't get lured in by their slightly cheaper prices! That 100.00 you think you're saving will come back to haunt you.

Extreme difficulty with delivery and assistance
February 9, 2021

I had extreme difficulty getting my furniture. The first delivery was just 1 cushion. I ordered a sofa and chair. The second delivery was missing the feet and hardware. The third delivery, they never showed. Then it took over a week to find the furniture. I then called Appliance Connections to ask for compensation in the form of delivery up the stairs or the 10-year warranty upgrade. Only to be told it doesn't exist on furniture. Then why did I get the email about it in the first place? They told me the manufacturing company would contact me about the missing hardware and I still have not received anything. The fourth delivery is to be determined.
