Horrible!

Most horrible service ever experienced. Ordered 2 items 18th november that would be delivered 22th november. Contacted amazon 22th november that we did not receive anything and that the tracking status did not change from "Package left the facility". Their response: wait till 30th november and contact us back. As to be expected, again nothing received any tracking status did not change anymore. Will never order here again. An order placed the 18th november and almost 2 weeks later no update, no goods received.

All I wanted was 3 packs of Life Savers, I am an American living in Germany and went to Amazon.de to order lifesavers. I received a Amazon.de gift card from my friend for Christmas so I figured I would use it to purchased said lifesavers.yet when I tried to make the purchase I received this response from Amazon:

"Your account is temporarily on hold.

During this time, you won't be able to access your account, use any Prime benefits or gift card balance, or place orders. To regain access to your account, you will need to confirm details related to your payment method.

We took this action because either the Amazon gift card or the Amazon gift card balance that you are using is in violation of our "Terms and Conditions"."

In no way was in violation of these "Terms of Service". It does not appear that using a valid 14-digit voucher code for an Amazon.de gift card violates any of the listed terms of service for redemption. As long as the gift card was purchased legally and has not yet expired, it can be redeemed on the Admitted Websites for qualified products, and any remaining balance will be credited to the gift voucher account until the expiration date. It is also permitted to use multiple gift vouchers per order and combine them with one promotional voucher per order. Additionally, gift vouchers cannot be redeemed for further gift vouchers or Kindle subscriptions, and gift vouchers or their balances cannot be transferred to another Amazon.de customer account or paid out in cash.

I will continue this battle for my lifesavers, and will stop at nothing. Not only do I want my Amazon account taken off hold, but I demand that the order be provided for free with postage paid.

I am so fed up with Amazon.de. I've never had any issues with Amazon.com, in all the years I've used it and trying to make my first order with its German counterpart, I am repeatedly locked out of my account, orders canceled and now charged a fee, even though I've been in constant contact with their "account specialists" to try resolving this problem. I was told it was only a verification issue, yet after verifying myself at least 8 times over the phone and email and via website, I still can't place the basic order I was trying to make. And Now they have the gall to charge me too? What kind of business is this? I live and work in Germany. I'm shipping from Germany to a German address. I've verified my payment, email, phone number, bank, etc. and now I'm charged a fee I have to go through my bank to rectify? Not because the order was canceled mind you, because they've seen this "fraudulent order go through too many times" yet they will not authorize a refund. How is that even a thing? I've tried following the conflicting guidance from their "specialists" and have been getting no where. And yet I can't talk to anyone else?

I was actually happy with the product (Jabra Move wireless headphones), but after 6 months one of the ear pieces broke from the frame, the connections are very tiny. I contacted amazon for a replacement and they refused despite the product being in stock. It was and is the exact same product but with a different stocking code (ASIN) but now a different price, as I bought it during a discounted period and now the price is back to the original.
Amazon refused to replace it because of this ASIN code (despite the customer service team member confirming it was the same product), apparently it's impossible, but no reason was given as to why. If I wanted to replace them I would have pay for my return packaging, and then get my refund and pay the difference to replace them. Even though it's the same product I can't even write a review on that product to warn people about potentially not being entitled to a replacement for a faulty product. It's very very sneaky behaviour and becoming more and more common.
Amazon is all good when you get your little discount but my experiences when something goes wrong now are that's it's not worth the hassle.

Petty crooks

Ordered 3 days ago goods on amazon in Germany. Paid with a Georgian bank card.
When I try to find out the status of the order, the amazon.ge website shows that my account is blocked. The letter does not come to the mail, they just block it along with my payment.
I'm trying to write to support - and well, they demand from me all the information about me, about the payment. I even send a payment order.
3 days pass, I try to see the history of my orders - there is nothing!
I'm trying to write to customer support and again they demand all the data about me and about the payment.
Scoundrels, I already sent all this data 3 days ago!
And when I try to contact you, the site tells me again that my account is blocked and I can't even write to you and ask when you will send my goods and unblock my account!

I have never seen such idiocy and disgusting attitude towards customers either in China, or in other Asia, or in the Caucasus, or in the countries of the 3rd world.

Every day, Amazon and their bank use my money. Every day they receive a small percentage of the blocked money and prevent them from being unlocked. I will spread information about these rascals so that as many people as possible will know that they cannot be trusted!

They are making bad jokes with me
August 14, 2021

I placed an order and it was lost. It was refunded and additionally I was offered free delivery if I reordered. Just let them know about my reorder. How nice, I thought. OK so far.

I reordered and chatted with customer service. They told me to come back when I received the order. OK so far.

I Received the order and chatted with the customer service again. They said that everything OK, they will refund my delivery costs. Just that he couldn't do it but had to forward the issue to their specialist department and they will notify me. OK so far.

Then came the notification: "Your order is not eligible to refund shipping costs". And then some blah about how they offer free shipping only to certain countries and from a certain order value. That was like I were begging for delivery refund for a normal order. THEY OFFERED me the refund and told me over and over to come back to get the refund.

I replied to the mail from the specialist department only to get the same answer.

The amount of the money involved is small but to me this is like a very bad joke. I'm about to return the order just to continue with joking.

I tried to buy a microphone +cable on amazon on December 25th, using my EU credit card. It kept saying 'revise payment method', I tried about 6 times. I called my bank, they were very confused by it and started an investigation. In the evening, I added my EU bank account and continued to try to buy the mic/cable but kept getting the same vague message to 'revise my payment method'. At the same time, my bank account kept getting very weird messages in my list of recent transactions, that I've never seen before, every time I tried to make a purchase on amazon.de. Something about my payment method having been altered (by whom?). Amazon.de support was completely useless - didn't know what was happening. Agent 2, Milica, thought this is a part of a routine check. (Right: If routine fails all of your payment methods 12 times in a row). MShe said to try the card, even though my EU bank should have been accepted. The card, of course, still kept failing. Milica refused to pass me through to her supervisor when I asked, and said he will tell me the same thing she is.
I don't know what amazon.de is doing but they are completely incompetent (at best, possibly something fraudulent is going on). I don't want them having access to my data, so I will be deleting my account on amazon.de.
Amazon.de is the biggest joke of an online store I've ever seen. Be VERY careful when dealing with them.

ENTICING CUSTOMERS TO PLACE ORDERS, USING FALSE INFORMATION
I was told by a chat agent that I could have a price promise refund of 105 euros. All I had to do was contact Amazon wheb I received my Ipad. I did this, and 8 chat agents later, and over 1 hour later, I was told this was not possible. I have a full transcript of the agent telling me I could do this. In my opion it is fraudulent to sell goods online by making false promises. Here is a copy and paste of my conversation:

This is one of the most awful incompetent branches of the amazon franchise. Two consecutive orders canceled and even the order history vanished from my account. USA customer here <<<---and it seems their MO is to cancel international orders at whim and give you a bunch of pretty lame excuses as to why. One order was cancelled claiming it was out of stock but they made sure the entire order history was deleted from my account to shackle me from leaving a review of the third party seller who was suppose to fulfill that order.

On my latest order Amazon.de went even further and flagged my account claiming it was hacked, my order was reversed and also vanished as if it never happened and I went through hours of hell trying get back into my account that they locked me out of across all the amazon platforms including my main account on amazon.com. Good luck trying to get any kind of helpful customer service as there is no easy way to speak to anyone via telephone if you reside outside of Germany. You are simply treated as a common theif with no recourse and no justifiable excuse as to why. Their 3rd party sellers can misadvertise and then simply cancel orders with zero accountability since amazon.de cripples your ability to leave any feedback by erasing your order history. Amazon.de is a joke and a sad excuse for a branch of Amazon.

CHEATED BY AMAZON SUPPORT! I live in Switzerland and have bought over 200 items from Amazon.de in the last year alone. On 23 Sep, I added 6 items to my cart, which had mentioned free shipping above 39euros. At the payment page, free shipping option was not coming and only paid shipping was available for 26euros. So I immediately contacted amazon support via chat. A support person from India handled it. He said it was a system error and asked me to make the payment including 26euro shipping, then give him the order numbers and he will get me the 26 euros refunded. I TRUSTED him and did the same. Even after 1 week, no refund. Therefore, I contacted Amazon support over chat again today. A support person from India ("Harsh") handled it. Harsh apologized saying his colleague gave me incorrect information and I will not be refunded. You can verify all this by accessing the 2 chat transcripts. ORDER # **************318 and **************724. I would have never placed the order with 26euro shipping, if the support person had not given me incorrect information in the first place. I do not need an apology; I need the refund I was promised before I placed my order. I am reaching out here as the last resort, before I go around posting this incident in every possible forums, twitter and reach out to senior Amazon leaders in LinkedIn regarding this matter. It is not a matter of the 26euros, it is a matter of principle and the CUSTOMER CENTRIC CULTURE that Amazon stands for. I look forward to hearing from you.

The Worst Ordering and Delivery Experience
December 24, 2022

The worst ordering and delivery experience I've ever encountered. Usually Amazon is the quickest and simplest and I'm incredibly surprised how painful this experience has been.

I ordered a pair of Ugg boots that were returned to sender for an unknown reason on 7th December. When I went to re-order the Ugg boots, they were out of stock. I was told a price match would be available for any similar item. I didn't mind if they didn't arrive in time for Christmas but I wanted to order a pair as a gift.

I then re-ordered an item through a marketplace seller and was then told over the phone a price match wasn't possible because it's a marketplace item and not fulfilled by Amazon directly. The person over chat never specified this and the information over chat was incorrect. Please note the item I ordered was around 140 EUR more, so it was a massive price difference.

The item was then marked delivered on 16th December, signed for by my partner but he wasn't in his apartment, so couldn't physically sign for the item. The marketplace seller then continued to insist my partner had signed for it but this was impossible. I opened an investigation with DHL myself also but never heard back due to the busy Christmas period and also asked the seller for coordinates but they couldn't provide me with this information.

Amazon then opened a A-Z claim but this was rejected due to information not being provided - I have absolutely no idea what information additional I could have provided.

My partner then spent his entire morning of 21st December looking for the parcel, where it was eventually found.

Since this was amazon's mistake, we were told we'd be refunded the additional 5,03 EUR in postage, so we weren't out of pocket. The item was then returned this week and not only were we not refunded for the postage but we were also missing an additional 6 EUR for the refund. There doesn't seem to be any clear information why we weren't refunded in full.

I will be deleting my Amazon account after this experience. I ordered directly from the UGG site and the same item was delivered within 24 hours for 120 EUR cheaper.

Man hat als True-Kunde bei Amazon über 10 Jahre fleißig eingekauft, Belohnung oder Geschenk von Amazon Seite keine Spur, nun bekommt man immer wieder Warnung wegen schlechte Qualität zurückgeschickt Waren! Gehts noch? Wenn das nicht als Ausnutzung der Mono-Markt Position wäre, wie kann man diese Frechheit nennen? Bin mal Sprachlos.
