I haven't installed my new jack yet, so I can't comment on performance but I can comment on the very fast delivery of standard shipping! I was suprised to find when I got home from work my new jack was there. I'm sure I'm going to be satisfied with it as I've never had a problem with anything I've purchased from Adventure RV
I've dealt with Adventure RV
For several years, on a wide range of products and brands. The
Prices are always low, the delivery prompt, the quality great, and the follow up and customer support is excellent.
Purchase history.
2 Girrard RV water heaters
Brisk Air2 A/C unit
Ready Brute tow bar
Many small items
Great fast service. Not in original package but who cares the price was right. I will definitely use this company again. The only bad part is making me come up with 100 words for this review.
Your response is very fast once the order is placed in a few days its shipped. And appreciate it if you would have a phone that the customers can call to get answers then using your chat or email
Package arrived 10/05 via post office. 100 miles in 6 DAYS!
Package went from KNoxville to Nashville to Charlotte to Concord, NC and then via Post Office to Johnson City!?
Package in good shape and put into service, OK.
UPDATE: After an exchange of messages where they kept saying it was not their problem, the Support thread went dead for nearly a week. Now we just received notice that they are sending a replacement item. So good for doing what they should have done in the first place, but not good that it was not the first response that they had.
I bought a Valterra Water Pressure Regulator w/ Gauge (S078-*******). The only good things I can say about them is that it arrived quickly, and they opened a "support" ticket on the same day. That's the end of the good news.
The pressure gage was defective on the regulator (which attaches between a garden hose and the inlet port of an RV). This was easy to tell because it always read the same pressure, either when installed and operational, or completely disconnected.
I requested an exchange. Their response: once the item had been "installed" I had to deal with the manufacturer. Attaching it to the end of a garden hose is "installing" it? How else to know if it works? I pointed out this out, and they suggested contacting the manufacturer for "help with installation". That was the end of their responses.
If it had been a functional item, I would have probably been happy with them. But forget getting any support if there is a problem with what you got. I certainly won't be ordering from them again.
Purchase has gone well so far.
Updated 3/17/15: I received 4 items in three packages. One item had been put inside another manufacturer's box, so I thought it was missing at first until I actually opened the boxes. The electrical services center I ordered came damaged. Either from the manufacturer or from that fact that adventureRV shipped it without any additional packaging materials except those provided by the OEM. Whatever the reason for the damage adventureRV responded promptly, sent me a return address label and I'm sure they'll send out another unit once they receive the damaged one.
Your pre-sale customer service isn't weak. It's non-existent. And your post-sale service is similarly poor. I received absolutely no shipping confirmation or shipping details from Adventurerv.net, but rather had to pry them from you using your rather shoddy online help feature which given to operational fits and hiccups. Overall, I'd say that you sell merchandise at an attractive price, but make the buyer suffer through a total lack of support and normal communication courtesy. I would rather pay a bit more in the future for an expensive item than worry about deliveries, purchase options and so forth.
First - If I choose not to sign up for 'verified by visa' I have no other choice then to discontinue the order (I've entered my card information four times).
Second - your web site is slow and not very friendly (might visit amazon or somebody to see how they should feel)
Third - your postage rates are a bit high for an item that should cost $*.** to mail
Great web site.
5-11 day shipping option ended up being only 3 days.
Was curious why the reason an item was on the scratch and dent list could not explained but found a similar model with a little better price anyway.
Great so far second time buying first was great hope this will be the same.
My second order was damaged. Now I am dealing with getting it replaced.not going to well.
It's taking to long. I paid extra to insure my purchase in case of damage so one would think this
Would be an easy task. Not so still waiting.
What a bunch of clowns masquerading as an RV outlet store. It's a drop ship warehouse with a website. There's only a recorded message when you call. It says their best customer service is chat or email. Neither are quick or helpful. Expect to wait days to get a response. I'm returning an item soon so well see if I get a refund or have to hire an attorney to get something done. Basically just stay away from this group they're bad news and have no idea about any item they sell, they just tell you to refer to the manufacturer's site and they will make no recommendation or help with any technical info. It's a joke and you're the punchline.
Better read the fine print! We purchased an air conditioner for our camper. When we opened the box we realized it wasn't the right one. We asked to return. Customer Support said it was a special order item and they don't accept returns on special order items. What a way to make a quick $1,000! If you read waaaaayyyy down their return policy it states that Dometic (most popular A/C brand for RV's) is a "special order item" and returns are not accepted. Never heard of such a thing in my life! They did say we could return the $118 insallation kit... at our own expense AND within 5 days. Big woop! We did not send anything back, BUT we learned a valuable lesson - never order from them again! I have added them to my "NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN" list!
I not only wish for this place to go out of business, but hope that everyone who works there has their significant other leave them in the middle of the night with a mountain of debt. Ryan the chat man I hope you are ripped off like I have been sometime very soon. Stay Away!
All Ryan did was copy and paste. Very disappointed in this company. Never doing business with them again! Ryan actually hung up on me while I was typing. Good thing I used PayPal so I can file a claim to get my money back. All I got was the run around.
Twice I wanted to know about a product they sold, what came with it, what didn't. They only refer you to the manufacturer. Totally lame. I believe this company is a front or scam as they have ZERO service. When you call, they tell you to email or chat on their chat service. I'll spend my money elsewhere. Anywhere ELSE but there. And I'll gladly pay more.
They screwed up my shipping address, and refused to help me make it correct. There is no person to talk to on the phone, and fedex will not allow me to change the address because adventure TV as a restriction on there account that only four people can change it. I shop have shopped locally instead of this company. I will not use them again.
Do not order from this company, their customer services is the worst that I have ever seen. I placed two orders with this company and both were disasters. They ripped me off for over $300 sent me the wrong parts and refuse to refund my money! Even after I sent them their parts back at my expense!
I ordered a Awning replacement arm. After 9 days it still has not shipped. Cannot talk to anyone live, they will not let you. Email ticket# and email chat only at their convenience/when someone in their company has time. If you need a part to do any repair to get traveling do not order it from here.
Purchased an air conditioner unit for a camper a few weeks ago. Installed it recently and found that is does not work. Called number on website and was advised that they only will talk to you if you are buying an item, you need to use chat or email for problems with orders already placed. Chatted online with a person by the name of Macy, very rude and not helpful at all. She advied me to contact the manufacturer for assistance as the item has a warranty. She would do absolutely nothing. Finally disputed the charge with American Express. Stay away from this company, service sucks.
Answer: Shady goings on regarding Credit cards. They ran mine weeks after I was on their site, totally caught me by surprise. I had abandoned an attempt to purchase an item from them as I could not contact anyone, eventual email response was so unprofessional that I KNEW it must be a ripoff. So I went elsewhere. Then a surprise charge on my ccard for nearly $900. I found that they have YEARS of VERY negative reviews about customers service, wrong parts, looooong ship times... AND they treat EVERYONE horribly! You've been warned, wish I was! Doug Z
Answer: Best price for the product I needed. Also they supposedly could get it to me as fast as the competition. But that was not the case.
