The company has garnered a mixed reputation, with many customers praising the platform for its ability to connect them with a diverse pool of talented designers and for facilitating a creative contest process that often yields satisfactory results. However, significant concerns have been raised regarding the quality of designs, with accusations of reliance on stock imagery and lack of originality. Additionally, customer service appears inconsistent, with reports of inadequate support and difficulty in resolving issues, including refunds and communication problems. Overall, while the platform offers valuable opportunities, the execution and support may require improvement to enhance customer satisfaction.

99designs is the right place to become a online graphic artist job. WOW!
Poor pool of designers. I spent $300 and nearly 2 months & received some of the worse designs known to man. I upped it to $500 and the results were even worse. I recommend using a professional agency that can cater to your taste and style. The designers here are not worth the money and most importantly the time!
I have a small business and needed a quick design change. We had the BEST experience and got exactly what we wanted and the work was even better then I expected it would be! 2 thumbs up!
My funds were distributed to all the designers without even being allowed to use one. I had expressed my concerns that designs were not useable. Expensive especially since I got nothing out of it. They locked all the designs as I was not able to chose a "winner". None were good enough to be useable at a company level.
This was my first time using 99designs and I was highly impressed. The process and website are very streamlined and easy to navigate. Once my contest began the submissions and messages were easy to manage. I was nervous about what level of work I would receive in only four days, however, I received numerous quality ideas. After narrowing my list of finalists, it was difficult to pick only one winner (you can pick more than one if your budget allows). My winning designer was talented and responsive and quickly worked out the last details before providing me with final design files. I will have no hesitation using 99designs again in the future.
This process at first was very intriguing to me. Once, I chose the winning designer based on an image they posted, I was in for a rude awakening. What I did not know, was that the image they promoted was a 3D image. And a 3D image was not what I was going to get for my LOGO. Hummmm... I suppose if I was a graphics expert, I would have known this? Please beware that what you see is NOT going to be what you get! Ask the designer to ONLY show you real renderings of what you will get for the images you are paying for. They showed me 3D images and I truly thought this was the logo they were presenting. That being said, I did not and will not be getting what I wanted and paid for on this site. Very sad, but true. Now I am out $400 and have to start all over again.
99designs is such a fantastic site! You get so many wonderfully diverse designs to choose from (artists from around the world!), the interface is very user-friendly, the designers are easy to work with -- even with tight timelines. I definitely plan on using this resource every time I need graphic design work. Thumbs way up!
I'm an active designer on 99designs since 2013 and I owe so much to this platform... I've learned a lot there, I've grown a lot as a designer, I've met wonderful and talented designers from all over the world there and not in the last place, I've met a lot of great clients that were a pleasure to work with.
The Support Team was always there when I needed help or just wanted an answer. The whole platform is friendly, easy to use, inter-active and in a constant pursue to get better and better, which I absolutely love about them.
So, if you are a designer and want to test your design skills in contests, learn and challenge yourself to be a winner, then, this is the place for you.
If you have a business and need something designed, I think you will find plenty of options there and it will be hard for you to choose from and in case you are just not satisfied, you have a money back guarantee... either way, you won't risk anything.
It was a surprisingly positive experience to work with 99designs. We did that as a trail - to see how it would work - without any high expectations. But the outcome was much better than we expected. I think we now have a logo for our brand that suite our purpose.

I've got more than 100 best design entries, so i can pick one the best, but the result is, the designer give him all hie entries to me for free. With all complete file, easy and fast.
I am a freelance graphic designer, and i have tried some crowd sourcing websites, 99designs is the best and a better place than the others
99designs is leagues ahead of its competitors for clients and designers alike. For clients, 99designs is a focal point for some of the best freelance designers in the world. The same cannot be said of any of its competitors, where overused concepts dominate. The contest model brings scores, sometimes hundreds of designers to the client. No design agency anywhere can leverage a comparable sum of skill, experience and creative talent. For designers, 99designs is a tough environment. But this is what makes it great. Prices are set. There is no bidding war to the bottom. What is tough is the competition from other designers. For any serious designer, this situation is ideal. You get to hone your skills, break bad habits, and learn from the best, albeit through many defeats. Over time, the benefit is demonstrable. Persisting, learning and working hard on 99designs will for sure make you a better designer, no matter what your level of experience, including senior designers in the non-freelance industry. Meanwhile, you'll be responding to real world briefs, and if you're good enough you can score wins. Meanwhile, 99designs attracts some of the most interesting branding projects available, and the diversity is great, so you can develop different styles and try new approaches. Is the platform without problems? No. But there is a great community of designers who discuss matters daily and can offer insight and support. In short, for clients and designers alike, 99designs is highly recommended.
I have been working at 99 design for the last several months as an illustrator, and I am happy working there even the experience might be bittersweet to designers and clients.
My good experiences came from competing at an international level, that makes me elevate my quality, work harder from the concept to the final design. It is not easy, has been a lot of hours learning and improving. I have a lot of defeats in the contests, but each defeat is a lesson to learn if I take the time.
The bitter side from the story came from the periods when I have no wins, even when I have working hard and providing good designs. There area lot of good designers in the site.
The biggest problem as designers is having a bad communication with the clients, the clearest we understand a client the better work we are able to do. If you are a client be sure of what you need and like to have, the better you understand you're need the better we will be able to help you.
I joined on 99designs 3 years ago and I have no regrets. I learned a lot, I earned ... maybe not a lot, but enough.
99designs is a really good platform with a friendly interface and a proffesional staff. Congrats!
As a designer with over 35 years of experience working in the design-for-print industry and with a Degree in Design I can honestly say I was 'slapped with a damp squid' today by them. I decided I would give them a try as I am now freelance. Don't get me wrong, my last position for 20 years was Creative Director. I know my job and history has proved me a great designer. My experience is vast. Being freelance gave me the ability to move to another country and marry the woman I loved. My choice, otherwise I would still be in the UK working 10 hours a day. Today they wrote to me and said...

My skills have been honed over 40 years! And well paid!
ALL I CAN SAY IS 'AGEISM'! Other designers beware - well at least experienced designers be wary:-(
I have to visit her everyday. It is part of my daily work.
It really helps me to earn money. It was once a hobby then I found 99designs. I love 99designs.
I love 99design, it's the best out there for freelancer!... If your're a designer don't hesitated, because you gonna learn, if you play by the rules... If you are not willing to learn, or it's more easy copy than create, them you'll probably get a ban.
Customer has opportunity to choose in hundreds designs and work on 1-1 projects with guarantee for both sides.
They treat you like you are not their client. They just want money and provide no service or support. The "packages" they offer are all the result of poor designers' good will, efforts and hard working (they have no part in this service except taking money). They are not transparent and unclear with their terms of service. I don't recommend them at all.
I have started on 99designs 4 years ago as absolutely beginner and I learn so much there! Lot of inspirational designs, great designers to learn from and support from great community made me work on myself and improve my design skills higher then I ever expected! Great recommendation for everyone who want to work, grow, develop and learn each day. Also, great recommendation for clients who wants proffesional design since lot of the world's best designers are here!

Answer: Hi Devon, Thanks for reaching out! If you do not see a bundle package that fits your needs, we suggest starting with one contest and then work with your winning designer via our 1:1 Projects for additional design needs you may have. I would recommend starting with either a Logo + Business Card Contest (https://99designs.com/logo-business-card-design) or Logo + Social Media Image Contest (https://99designs.com/social-media-pack). Here is some additional information on our 1:1 Projects: https://support.99designs.com/hc/en-us/articles/204760975 Please don't hesitate to get in touch with our Support Team and we can explain the options in more detail: https://support.99designs.com/hc/en-us/requests/new
