Decided to visit 42nd PHOTO to buy a 10mm F2.8 fisheye lens for my om-d e-m10 mark iv and let me tell you, out of all the camera stores I've visited, I've never felt so at comfortable right off the bat. I was greeted by James and he was super sincere and genuine about his camera store. No covert sales efforts, just honest people trying to help you in your photographic pursuits. I definitely recommend this place to any level of photographer/cinematographer.

I liked my new Leica M 10 R and 50 mm Leica lens so much that I immediately bought this 35 mm lens as well. The lenses pair perfectly with the fabulous M10R. I went to 42nd Street Photo to buy a compatible quick release rifle plate for my Al AXMC Rifle. James is a very enthusiastic optics and electronics engineer. He suggested a Really Right Stuff with great joy. Nice, premium and professional finish. When I setup my rifle there with this base, I was very excited. This plate offers a perfect balance point for mounting the rifle directly to a ball mount. The other staff were very friendly as well as starting from the Lady at the info desk to the other sales associates. You can shop for all types of bases & mounts for modern weaponry. You can also find lots of cool riflescopes, sights and accessories at the store. I do recommend to shooters who use a tripod like me.

42nd street has been around for a long time. Their prices are always lower than the competition. No New Jersey sales tax is charged. On high priced items this is a great savings. The delivery time is not as fast as B and H but the savings is worth the wait. Selection is not as extensive as others. The items for sale are always priced lower than other stores. Overall I would not hesitate to buy again.
