I've purchased quite a few things from 42 St. Photo including new and used cameras, lenses and accessories, the new stuff matches website description and merchantable quality, the used equipment are also perfectly fine, great company and their warranty on used cameras is 1 year unlike the 6months its rivals in New York offer 10/10

Ordering was straightforward and simple. From placing an order on Monday, the lens was delivered to me free of charge (to Long Island) on the Thursday. That's what I call excellent service. Very pleased with the service and based on this experience would be happy to recommend the company.

The delivery was so swift; the whole process took just under 5 working days from placing the order through the website to the delivery by FedEx. The camera itself has exceeded my expectations and I love everything about it! Came in perfect condition and I've been booking photoshoots left and right since I got it.

42nd Street tried to tell us that we had to pay $500 more for the camera and lens that worked in the US. They said I accidentally ordered the European version. So I believed them and paid an extra $500. Turns out, there are not two types. They are refusing to credit me the $500.

I've purchased soft boxes, umbrellas, light modifiers, and other studio lighting equipment from here. The products are well-built and competitively priced compared with overpriced name brands. The staff are friendly and helpful, steering me away from products that may not be well-suited to the type of photography I do.
The best customer service I have had ANYWHERE EVER! And they sell great Canon knock offs such as hot shoe flashes, lenses and batteries at vastly cheaper prices. All work better than the Canon brands I had before.

The OM1 system was a great addition to my arsenal. I have never been happier with a camera than with this OM1 system. Buying a pro-level camera seemed years away for me. 42nd street Photo has a great website and is very good with describing the specifications on the camera as well as giving details of what is contained in the box so you know exactly what you are getting. I purchased a refurbished Nikon D3100 and it was the best price when compared to other used cameras. Got free shipping too. As for the camera, the D3100 is a great camera and the shutter speed is fast enough to take my photography passion to the next level. Very happy with the purchase

Panasonic products are well designed, easy to use and the best in the market. We love the HC-V770 Camcorder. I love the clarity and different features of the camera brings. As far as 42nd st photo goes they went above and beyond to get me the best pricing possible even after it went on sale. It goes a notch higher to show how to nurture good customer relations.
