Support became useless since they disconnected the phones. They processed a fraudulent transaction (somebody used a stolen CC) and did not give us a warning that they had red flags, eventually due to the chargeback we lost almost $600 on that transaction. Decided to quit them but after 3 months of trying, they still give us a runaround. The account is not closed and they hold to the balance (very small, $24) that they should send us once it is closed. Getting all kinds of bogus explanations from them with no final resolution.
I found out that for almost two years, avangate stealing money from my account. Without any notifications or emails.
Initially, I canceled all auto-subscriptions (and several times in several services), sent them messages about it, but I could not even find out where and what service was carrying off the write-off data.
In total, the system has stolen almost 300 dollars in two years.
In general, it is not possible to find out the name of the service, nor the working conditions are signed from me, nor for which money was withdrawn. There is not even a notice of any subscription!
Obviously, no services were provided.
Therefore, I reasonably demand a refund: there was not a single service I received for this money
I started a Shopify store and decided to give 2Checkout a go for my new business. Unfortunately, I had to repeatedly send the same and further info to them and waited for weeks for approval. Then I was disapproved for no specific reason given. Absolute poor service! I am glad I was not approved; otherwise, I would have to deal with their below-average service.

They basically say that they can close any account whenever they want, for no reason whatsoever:

They had me on the phone for 50 minutes and tried to scare me into signing up with them, saying hackers had made seven attempts in the previous hour to get into my comcast email account.
Finally, I asked them to send their info in an email and that ended the conversations.
Placed an order at 3:00 this afternoon and it is now 8:40pm and I still do not have the software I ordered and the payment is still 'under review'. How any company chooses to use this payment gateway is anyone's guess. They must be super cheap. I will never buy from any business using Avangate again.
I bought the "expert" version of SyncMate software, but they never delivered the activation code, and after repeated email requests, simply blamed their supplier and then said the matter was "resolved". The supplier, Eltima, hasn't responded to numerous emails, so I've gotten nothing for my money. Stay away.
2checkout is one of the worst payment processing companies. They NEVER care about their customers. Once they suspect your site e.g. you have more than one websites, or your website went down for more than few hours if you have server issues or anything, they will immediately suspend your account. Then you try to call them time after time, explain over and over again, send them numerous emails, they just IGNORE you after all. Avoid this company/website if you want to run a stable ecommerce website. My website is still down after a week now and they NEVER responded me. Check out other payment gateways such as paypal (not very nice either), ccbill, google checkout, gtbill, gspay, and MANY more. Just beware of 2checkout.

I made a purchase for Winxdvd software, they took the money from my credit card instantly and then didn't send my purchase! Instead they sent me an email asking for bank statements and copies of photo id! In future I will ensure that I do not purchase from any company that uses 2Checkout!

Easy Watermark Studio, works great but the customer service really sucks! I have bought the software and the upgrade and am unable to reload it because it keeps disappearing from my computer! I have both of the install numbers and it wont install and cant get any help from them. I have used their support tikets and getting no answers from them! Dont waste your money! Go somewhere else!
This company is highly unprofessional with employees who are utterly incapable. No answer to emails, no explanation and zero communication. It is a shame for the affiliates like visa and mastercard that they are doing business with this company.

Getting an email response is very slow. Trying to cancel is almost impossible - the online support staff want to send you to sales, and when I tried up sign up for "MyAccount" to try to cancel the auto renew (must have been in the small print) it took my information but then refuses me access when i try to use my password that it accepted. Then when I tried to email them (again) it kept refusing my email saying that all fields with an * must be filled in - but they were filled in. And I can't find a phone number anywhere. I will never touch another product connected with Avangate
I do not suggest 2checkout to merchants, they refund orders without merchant notifications and customer disputes. Pannel is too difficult to understand. I have been using 2checkout since 2015, in the last 15 days, two orders refunded without my notification and customer disputes. Worst payment gateway, we work too hard for sales and after providing services to customers, they refund the amount.

The Company charges extortionate conversion rates from one currency into another without first specifying what those charges are likely to be. This is unfair, unethical and very bad business practice. Any Company that uses them to collect payments must use alternative methods or they will suffer financially as I will NEVER use any Company that uses them!

It looks to me like 2Checkout is built with outdated technology. The portal is slow and not very responsive and still done with PHP. I would expect a faster single-page application UI built with Vue or React.
It also looks like the backend is a monolithic application and not based on scalable cloud infrastructure. Still had some problems while we had black Friday discounts. That's super annoying. I also don't like the checkout templates. They had bugs, and people could not remove something from the cart on systems with small screens or special browsers. The template I have chosen also does not show the discount text. Something I would expect also from the reduced templates.

Avangate charges taxes for the purchases and they don't remit these taxes to the government. Its an easy way for the company to make an additional percentage on the sale price. This company is unethical, and should be avoided at all costs.
I bought non-working software for over $30. The merchant has a 30-day money back guarantee for technical issues, but they refused to refund me. Verifone, who also goes by 2checkout, refused to refund me because they said that it is only between me and the merchant. Well, now it's me, the merchant, Verifone, and a PayPal dispute.

Do not use this site using your credit card. I have used a merchant site backed by 2Checkout.com site that I was not aware the merchant was Pakistan and backed by this site using my credit card. After three months of placing a fraud complaint on the site and the merchant, the 2checkout.com closed the complaint by providing a made-up Pakistani Post Office tracking number and closed my formal complaint. Do not make the mistake that I made this is an international fraud transactions that I was told happens, where the 2checkout.com and the merchant make money jointly.
Do not use this site or their associates. Not only you will loose your money, but also exposing your credit card number and personal information at risk. DO NOT USE 2CHECKOUT.com for your credit card purchases or transactions. They have a very low rating.

Con:
- the total value of commissions and deductions exceeds 10-12%
- the money enters the bank account in 2-3 weeks
- the documentation is very good for WEB programmers but it exceeds the usual practical requirements for a shop hosted by a platform (Shopify)
2Checkout is like a high speed train: it can take you quickly to your destination but it throws you down without hesitation if you don't know how to hold your own. And especially don't try to fool him!
