Here is the scenario. You sign up to traveler mates. You are inundated with notices from women calling you honey promising happiness. You are a middle age regular guy looking for someone to travel with at some point. So this woman keeps you chatting so that you keep purchasing "credits" she tells you she wants you to purchase a present for her to show your sincerity. This is also in "credits" what most do not know is that the more money you spend in credits the more the company shares that money with her! She makes money, the company makes money, you get SCREWED! Cause you will NEVER get a travel mate! Do not be stupid (like me). Remember if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
This is a site where they let you sign up and give you credits then make you purchase credits to send a message. The people behind the profiles are fake. They are just from somewhere in Asia answering your messages. Lol They are called the Moderators.
The conversations were unreal. Too many good-looking men compared to what you find on real dating apps. And they would always say what they think you want to hear. And they can't answer any real questions. Stay away!

Anyway, i thought it is a website for travellers to meet and travel together to destinations, and found myself in this scam dating website for couple of hours, from the messages and responses it was a clear scam. Check other reviews, a lot of people saying it is scam, and i doubt those giving it 5 stars to be from the same scam company.
People are fake profiles and as well as the sign up it took 2 unauthoirsed "automatic payments" of $23.99 each on the first day.
I called them and they said just lied and said they didn't do it and it was authorised. Then they said had used some of the credits so I could only get a partial refund. I reported them to Paypal.

My experience is that none of the contacts would/could provide proof of life. No-one could step outside the side to Skype or call, and most contacts were in remote locations like Russia or Ukraqine. I suspected the contacts were paid to keep you on the site and paying.
