We didn't really like our experience with them. For us we were looking for families in a certain area of town. They are better at broad spectrum hits. Website they make for you is cookie cutter - very few ways to adapt it to fit your individual needs. Also they issue you a special phone number to track - this becomes a problem when you cancel the service because people save that number and then it shows out of service.

We signed up our law firm with yodle. We were promised the world and got little to nothing in return. The "leads" are absolute BS because they basically count everyone who calls you as a lead (even solicitations from other companies!). I was warned about them shortly after hiring them but gave them the benefit of the doubt (my mistake). We decided to stop throwing good money after bad money and cut our losses. Do yourself a favor, save some money and look elsewhere to advertise.

Yodle has been a great company to work with. After trying many different SEO companies who promised us the moon and back, we tried Yodle. They provided an increase in our sales volume as we were also able to track where our calls came from and how our employees handled those phone calls. These are great managerial tools to help you focus on what areas and customers to target. This company has been a great tool to have in our advertising arsenal.

Yodle has excellent customer service that takes the initiative to reach out to you in addition to being willing to answer efficiently when you call them. Their services are very affordable and the control I have through my personal Dashboard is great. I am very pleased so far and just wish I had found them sooner!
John was very helpful on the phone, and I would give him 5 stars. He helped me with corrections I wanted to make on the website. He offered good suggestions and feedback. We are new customers, so marketing results are still unknown at this point. The reason I am giving Yodle 3 stars overall is that the website they initially put up could have been any solar company's site because it was so generic. If I were a site visitor I would have thought it was a scam. It was not well thought out, and there was so much repetition it was unbelievable. They did not consult our current website for information, so it was useless as a marketing tool. I spent alot of time rewriting their material, and then when they posted it, I still had to carefully proofread due to the numerous misspelled words, missing capitals, etc. That is what I called and worked with John on correcting. The overall website work has not been very professional, and for that reason I have been very disappointed. That said, the website is finally coming together, and with a few more touches, I am hopeful that this marketing will actually do what they said it would do. Overall anytime I have spoken with a customer service person they have been great to work with. They just need their writers do a better job researching the client before they start writing, and do a better job with the basics of punctuation and basic grammar.
I wanted my customers to be able to write a review at rate a biz and one of the of the local review site in my area with a click of a button and John Gauntt made it possible and now I get to reviews with one email I send out thank you

I get calls all the time stating "we have discovered that your Google listing needs to be updated, blah blah," so today I pushed #1 on my phone to talk to someone. I got the company name, their name and phone number "in case I need to call them back." Then I asked him how they found out out my listing is "outdated". I said "I am with Yoddle, and they keep up with all that." The guy said "they are behind. Yoddle is using last year's platform and Google has moved to a new platform, blah blah." Then he directed me to a website and as I was challenging him he hung up. I called your customer service and made another friend! I found a spelling mistake on my home page and it was fixed right away. Thanks. Hope to get my picture in to you soon.
We as a Yodle client could be happier with the way things are going, the people are great but the limitations and lack of clarify are frustrating. We understand why there are limitations and generalizations on adversites for the sake of standardizing for increased efficiencies/ranking, but it stifles companies that take great care of their presence.
Answer: I received a few leads that actually worked out. However, it wasn't enough to justify using them in the first place. The leads seemed to come in when I had signed up for their "google ads marketing" addition. So basically, the google ads provided 80%-100% of the leads, not Yodle. I Would've been better off spending my money on Google Ads written myself.

You would be better off doing your own social media marketing, joining the BBB and Y and white pages of phone book.
