WPMU DEV

When I first got MPMU DEV, I got it for a simple thing and I was only going to use the trial. But then I found More stuff they did that I really wanted and well, I decided to use the service even though I felt if may be overpriced. Well...

When my website died, All I had to do was get on the chat with a service tech and Nahid Really went beyond what I have seen any other service tech go through to help get things back up and running. This is not the first time I have had them save my azz, but it was the first time that I felt so strongly about the services I received that I would step out of my normally silent self to write about how great it was to have this service installed on my site Before it broke.

I would not even think of undertaking the sometimes rather complex websites, which we now dare to pull off with our 2 heads strong team (: joy :) >>>>> IF it weren't for the fact that we can fall back on the skils and the helpfulness of the WPMUDEV support team, when we mess it up.
And Lord (and the WPMUDEV support people) knows we sometimes do... Eish...:-)
In my opinion, I WOULD STILL HAPPILY what I pay for WPMUDEV if it was only for the value of the support!

With Smush, Forminator and friends WPMU-Dev provides some of the most helpfull tools for Wordpress-Websites that I know. But the best thing about WPMU-Dev is the great support that just helps you with everything! All around the clock, someone is there to help you. When you are lost by your server support, when your builder is doing strange things and you don´t know why, when you got a victim of a hacking attack or when there is any other issue: The Support-Heros of WPMU-Dev will help you out!

I honestly discourage to do business with them. Unless you want to lose a lot of your precious time.

I bought the classified plugin full of hope. I read all of the documentation, used a fresh install of wordpress with no others plugins in it. Their damn plugin couldn't work as advertised! I tried and tried and tried, lost so much time, wrote to their support by forum, and by mail, some of them even disappeared without solving anything. They had full access to my website.

One of their support member even tried very hard to make that bad plugin work, and couldn't do it. Their own plugin...

I obviously asked them a refund, they said no. I told them to make their plugin work then. They couldn't do it. I have still haven't got a refund by now. And of course no protection from paypal, so I'm probably just scr*wed...

Others true professionals like for example EDD, refund you if your not happy with their plugins. And actually resolve most of your issues. So I can't understand why wpmudev sell plugins that don't even work. That's just stealing people! I can't believe that level of unprofessionalism exist.

I used the plugins of WPMU DEV in the past for a customer, but after the customer stopped with their business I ended the partnership. NOw I need WPMU DEV for myself and had some questions after I registered. And I immediately remembered why it was so easy to work with WPMU DEV productions in the past. Their support is awesome on every level. Support staff in the past was alway very friendly and their knowledge and patience of a very high level. Today I met Nahid and he was again a very customer friendly support agent. He convinced me immediately to continue the new partnership for a long time.

As many commenters have stated, support is generally excellent. However, please note: I had an issue in which a WPMU DEV plugin that is vital for my business had stopped working properly.

If you look at the comments on the thread I created in their forum (https://premium.wpmudev.org/forums/topic/unable-to-edit-appointment-time/#post-*******), you'll see that this issue affected not just me but likely all users of the plugin, which makes the issue even more relevant.

It simply took them from May to December of 2018 to come up with a workaround. To me, this meant seven months without an essential plugin.

And they ignored when I asked to not be charged their monthly fee while they came up with a solution. Please note that I only use this one plugin from WPMU DEV. So all those seven months i kept paying monthly for a plugin that had been rendered useless by malfunctioning.

I give WPMU DEV five stars because, in all other respects, I agree with what has been said about them. And I am inclined to believe that what happened to me was not typical of their customer's experience. In all other instances, through the several years I've been signing up to them, I had really excellent support and experience.

So I would still recommend WPMU DEV to my friends, and would chose any of their plugins if I ever need them. Just keep in mind that nobody is perfect, not even ourselves.

I have been using WPMU Dev for several years now and they have never let me down. Their support is second to none. Highly recommended.

WPMU DEV offers a complete package. From excellent plugins that function as described to a robust community platform and Membership support that provide help with customzation of plugins to carry out additional functions as desired, I think WPMU DEV offers some of the best Wordpress plugins on the market. I do not think there is a serious Wordpress user out there that has not heard of WPMU DEV or used their plugins at one time or the other.

Having a variety of plugins that covers nearly all my WordPress needs for the price of one competitor's plugin is AWESOME. Plus they offer fast live chat, no other plugin dev team can compete!

I have been a member with MPMU Dev for several years and I guess, it is like anything that is a big part of your life. It is not until you lose it that you realise how much you miss it.

Having recently had a small problem with my renewal of MPMU Dev [my fault, not theirs], I very quickly discovered just how much I depend on their resources and invaluable support. Plugins that I constantly use, forums that I constantly read and just knowing that I have this 'safety net' below me when I work, have become such a vital part of my work.

So many sites and organisations claim that once you join, you will get this and have that, but in my honest opinion, it is rarely ever true.

MPMU Dev specialise in WordPress but so much of their content can also be applied in other design work as well.

If they do not change their system of support, resource repository and real encouragement to anyone who tinkers with design, programming and general 'web work', I cannot imagine ever letting my membership renewal lapsing again.

MPMU Dev is an exception to most. In a word, they are brilliant!

I signed up for a free trial of their their premium service and as soon as I installed their plugins I had a conflict and the site crashed. I tried to find a phone number to call on the site. No phone support. Chat support was unable to fix the issue. I paid to have a developer fix it. As this happened during the trial and I uninstalled all services and I spoke to the company about this, I assumed the free trial was cancelled. The next month I was noticed I was billed but, they reversed it right away so I thought it was an error on their part that they quickly corrected. I didn't notice that they billed again a couple day later. The following month they billed me again. I noticed and checked back and found the charge from the previous month. I tried to find a billing phone number on the site but, again only chat. They confirmed that they noticed that I have never used the service but refused to give me a full refund. They offered me free services which they knew were not compatible with my site and a month of refund. I felt they should have never billed very unfortunate.

I am quite new with WPMU DEV. But it feels I have been using their AMAZING tools and services like forever.
Fast support and comprehensive.
