This also supports lots of different languages and plugins! With using wordpress + It's plugins your site will be better than any CMS in the world wide web! Easy to use, Easy to install, Easy to configure! You can find a plugin for what you want to do and THIS IS why I love it!
I love when I can get what I want with minimal effort. And thanks to Wordpress I've got my own blog in fast cute and simple form.
It is not showing the menu. I setup the menu, but it does not show on the page. I did figure out how to set the text color.
I have created webpages before and I didn't find Wordpress to be that easy to use. I've had problems inserting blocks where I want them. Sometimes they show up at the bottom, not where I tried to put them. When I have put in new forms, it still showed the old form underneath the new one. But the old form did not display in the edit page. It was difficult to get rid of the old form. And sometimes the toggle menus do not open next to the pages. But overall the web development and hosting site is good to use.
Had a few issues at start regarding plugin installation but got resolved soon. Good site overall and nice customization options.
Using Wordpress you can set up your own corporate website in a matter of minutes. The number of plugins to customize our web and the option to transform it into an electronic commerce, it a perfect CMS for websites for small and medium businesses. Plus, it's cheap :)
I just do not like this because of the numerous plugins with too many bugs and newer version needed, some plugin shut me out of my website to where I just cannot change it, calendar dates were automatically wrong. The times I have used support it wasn't very good at all and wordpress is slow... Avoid
I must say that I completely enjoyed this site and was able to create my own wordpress.org site. It was so simple to create this that I was in complete awe over the whole experience.
This site's ease is the main draw for this site and there is not any complicated sign up process either. Plus the site provides you with articles that you can learn from to help you improve your own wordpress site. I am in total agreement that wordpress.org is indeed the best.
One of the most versatile blogging software around and very robust sites can be developed using it though it is not the easiest one to learn. It is most robust if you can code in PHP and mysql but many can install it on their site without using any complicated code.
I think wordpress is the worst website I've ever seen. They suspended my account and they always forced to buy business plan. There are millions of websites in the web. They don't touch these websites. Wordpress YOU ARE INJUSTICE!
WordPress is the best blogging software in the world - I've been blogging for years, and I have fallen in love with WordPress. It's easy to use, it's free, and it's completely open source. The open source bit is very cool because that means all these developers around the world make very cool plugins and other additions that allow you to do very cool things like track all your users, or easily change how your blog looks. It's also cool because a good portion of WordPress is a non-profit (there is also a for-profit portion called Automatic).
I've also used Blogger (owned by Google) and Typepad but have found them both somewhat less intuitive to use and lacking in many of the cool features of WordPress. Also - this is purely anecdotal - but I found that given similar numbers of inbound links, my WordPress blog did better in Google search results. No idea if this can be substanciated, but thought I'd mention it.
I am going to keep this review simple. I LOVE WORDPRESS!
Wordpress is feature rich, versatile and may be the last bastion for free speech.
If you have something to say to the world then Wordpress is the place to say it.
Wordpress is as simple as you need it and as complicated as you want it.
Another good semi-automatic site creator out there! They have basic lessons on all the main aspects but anyway you need some skill in using the platform to create something valuable.
If you want to start your blog, then WordPress is an excellent choice. I thought that this site would be "intermediate" in my career, but no. I still lead my first blog here since 2016.
I recently had an unpleasant experience with WordPress.com's customer support. While I understand that challenges can arise, the manner in which I was treated was far from professional.
I reached out for assistance with a CSS-related query, expecting a constructive response, but instead encountered a representative who identified himself as "Thorr." Whether this was his real name, I cannot confirm, as it was conspicuously missing from the follow-up email I received for rating the service.
When I approached him with a request for a CSS code to hide a banner, he initially told me it was not possible. However, when I presented further details, his response shifted from it being impossible to a blatant refusal to help. He told me he wouldn't do it and I was welcome to try myself. As a paying customer, I expected more cooperative and helpful service.
What struck me as even more disconcerting was when I requested to speak to a higher authority or manager, and was informed that no such tier exists above the initial level of customer service.
Additionally, while the location of a support representative shouldn't be an issue, I noticed the IP from which my site was viewed traced back to India. This made me wonder about WordPress.com's hiring practices. I hope that they aren't compromising on the quality and training of their customer service based on geography.
In conclusion, based on my experience, I can't recommend WordPress.com. The level of service I received was not up to par, and the experience left a sour taste in my mouth.
Those people who chose the business now they rule the whole world. All the successes are related with businesses. So business is supper choice
I've been using it for a long period of time and I can't complain about anything. Very convenient website!
Been working with WordPress for over 10 years. WordPress community is it's biggest asset. 1000s have contributed free plugins, helpful videos and support.
There are 1000s of free plugins that provide additional functionality such as contact forms, mortgage calculators, photo sliders, real estate listings and booking calendars. Always search the plugin repository before you pay for custom programming or take the time to develop something yourself. There's probably already a plugin that does all or at least most of what you need.
Check out WordPress.tv for 100s of helpful videos from getting started to advanced WordPress development. Most of these were recorded at WordCamps which are held throughout the year all over the world. Prices are next to nothing compared to most professional conferences. Most cities also have 1 or more WordPress Meetups that are another great source of support.
When I've posted questions on WordPress.org the response times and quality of responses have been excellent.
I have used wordpress for my self-hosted blog for over 2 years and I would recommend it to new blog.
