I understand that you can't please everyone or make everyone happy... but there are just way to many NEGATIVE REVIEWS to even think of signing up or simply being comfortable in moving forward.
Took money for 4 years and gave me nothing for it. Total scammers. Refused to refund. Avoid don't waste
My posts were visible one day and then gone the next. Attempting to talk to or email someone at Wix to inquire about this was impossible.
BEWARE of WIX SELLING & FALSE ADVERTISING PRACTICES:
When you subscribe to their Yearly Unlimited Premium plan, their website says that you get 2 free premium apps which are Site Booster and Form Builder.
I only used the Site Booster and I was just charged a total of $9.90 for 2 months of service ($4.95 monthly service charge).
Nowhere in their advertisement says that there will be a monthly charge at all for the service and that is why it says you get it for free with your subscription.
This is clearly, false advertisement!
As of now I have cancelled my subscription for the Site Booster so I won't get charge again.
When I called customer service about this was told that you only get a credit for the first month of service. Again, nowhere that is mentioned.
They issued me a credit for this charge.
I wished that I haven't paid in full up front as is required for the year for the yearly subscription for their service.
As of now is "wasted" money since I can not get a refund for it and is paid until it expires for the yearly service.
As of now I am looking for another company to design my website with and won't be using Wix anymore.
I also haven't finished designing my website completely yet.
I brought my site over to Wix from iPage over a month ago. Wix is STILL unable to connect my email account. They took my money readily, then ignored me.

I started dealing with legal zoom on September1st. They referred me to Wix. I paid for a email and a domain. Had been trying to connect my site for a few weeks then to be told after they have already taken the money out of my account I have to purchase a premium plan. Then I purchased it. Then called to get help and most of the customer service reps are not knowledgeable of the services and products. Very frustrating after sitting on the phone for an hour to be told he can't help me. Had to call back and finally got someone who knew her job but was very distracted by her loud noises in her background. Now here it is three weeks later and now I try to log on tonite to design my site and couldn't get through. So I requested a phone call back and someone called and let it ring one time and hung up just to say they called. Then I requested it again and got no response.I'm not satisfied at all and most likely I'll be canceling this service. I'll be calling my bank in the morning to reverse the fees. This is truly baddddd business at its finest.
I am not happy with Wix.com. I have spent a lot of time trying to get the SEO section working, and after paying for my premium account, but still cannot get found on Google, or other search engines?. It is beyond frustrating, to now bordering on conspiracy. Actually, I just think that Wix.com is not as updated with their system, as they so loudly proclaim. But seriously, when you have paid for something, you expect to get the service that you paid for. I have other sites that I use for free and GET BETTER SERVICE, than I do with Wix.com. It is so crucial that its SEO editor is working, because why should anyone even bother to sign up with Wix.com and still can't be found in Google searches?. I have totally ran out of patience, because this has affected my business, as you can expect, in a negative way. If people can't find you on the internet, after publishing on Wix.com and still paying for their premium service, then what is the point?. I was also very angry when I found out that instead of the price that it has advertised for its premium plans, I was actually charged $10.00 more!. After contacting wix.com about that, they told me that the prices, that are advertised, is based on their yearly plan. I had opted for the monthly plan and now I am so glad that I did. I can't imagine going through all of this headache for a whole year, with Wix.com. It's system is archaic and not as good as it claims. It is very slow, and with lots of interruptions. I have actually spent a lot of time, trying to get its SEO editor working for me, just so that I can be found in Google searches and IT IS STILL NOT WORKING. This should have been the first feature that works, but it is not. Why am I paying for a website like Wix.com, but can't be found in search engines, because of Wix.com's SEO editor?. The longer that it takes for me to get found by search engines, after signing up with Wix.com, is a sign that this company, is not really up to the competition, no matter how loudly it touts its own claim. This says a lot about Wix.com and its advertising and its customer service.
Worst web experience of my life.
I followed their instructions and created my platform. I upgraded to premium so that I could connect to my domain (and a good thing that I knew what I was doing, because their instructions were crap). I then started building content. I saved often. At one point it froze and everything was lost.
I submitted a ticket. Their response was a canned, "please read the help section.'
I returned to the site to find about half of the changes were back. I continued working. When I saved the work, it asked if I wanted to connect to my domain, despite getting an email saying that I had already connected. I tried to connect and it told me that I needed to purchase a premium package, despite getting an email thanking me for upgrading (not to mention the charge on my credit card).
I submitted another ticket. They sent me a canned response telling me to read the same crap again. But this time they discovered that, since they had (but hadn't) connected to my domain since I hadn't (but had) upgraded to premium service, the hours of rework that I had done had saved to a generic 'mysite' and couldn't be connected to my domain... because I needed to upgrade to premium... have I mentioned that I've done this?
If it weren't for the hours and hours of lost work, this would almost be comical.
DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE YOUR MONEY.
I needed a website in a pinch and this got the job done. It's easy to use but the templates could need some work.
WIx is terrible company no customer service go spend your money in on other company i'm waiting for account verification over 15 days terrible.
Finished my website on a friday at which point the wix platform decided to delete a load of data from my site, revert a whole bunch of stuff back to previous versions that i had done and all my links in the shop that should take you to the product page come up with a message saying "wicks stores are experiencing problems, try agin later or contact us with this link".
The link takes you to a quick Q & A page, no way of contacting anyone at all, so thats a lie, finally found a phone call back system that is ridiculously complicated and oh, they don't work friday, saturday or sunday so no luck there. Then with some digging found an e-mail address: *******@wix.com THIS IS NOT LISTED ANYWHERE ON THE WEBSITE AT ALL. I FOUND IT FROM AN EXTERNAL SOURCE! Am waiting for a reply, if it ever comes.
It's taken almost a day of messing around to get to this point and if the problems aren't fixed then i've wasted a week of my time.
By all accounts it seems the site is great if nothing goes wrong but when it does it's nigh on impossible to fix it as there are no ways to talk to anyone. The whole thing reeks of a massive rip off.

I had opted for wix online builder for my website and at that time they had a promotional offer of Google Adwords of USD 75. After I purchased the plan I got the vouchers under my account. Subsequently, I purchased the plan for 2 of my clients and got 2 such Adwords Vouchers. After a month when I tried using the vouchers I discovered its not valid for my country (India). When I contacted WIX they said that Google has revoked the offer from certain geographic locations and they cannot do anything about it.
I contacted Google to verify this and Google replied that the vouchers were never issued for India and thus the question of revoking doesnot arise. After sending the mail to WIX support and posting on social media WIX replied that there was a disclaimer while selecting the plan that Google Adwords is applicable is certain locations only. This statement is completely different from their earlier statement when they said that Google has revoked the offer.
So basically inspite of selecting billing address as India, WIX issued me coupons which were not valid for India.
They are not willing to accept that it is their responsibility to compensate me for an equivalent amount now and are offering an extension of 3 months which is not even 1/3rd of the value of the adwords coupons that I have.
Pathetic customer service guys. Dont even think of wasting your time and efforts with WIX.
They will keep sending u scripted mails for weeks and then absolve themselves of all the responsibilities.

Overall we are satisfied with the platform and could give a 5 star if they wouldn't keep the money for 7-10 days it's the biggest issue for us.

I have paid Wix to keep my Domain active but i am not able to open my website under it. Its so hard to get a hold of any customer service reps.
For my thirteenth birthday i bought the "premium" so that i could connect my domain that i bought to wix because its such a easy editor! Well, it told me $10 for a year so ithought i had a done deal. I bought it and then charged me $137! Even if it was a mistake thats more that 10 dollars a month plus tax! Then, it told me they would send me an email within two days letting me know that my website would be up, i waited TWO WEEKS with my website bage saying "website being built, check back in later." then, you wont beleive it, THEY DISSCONECTED MY WEBSITE FROM THEIR SERVERS! My webstie just said to "connect your domain to a website, get started here at godaddys free editor!" the worst thing. YOU CANT CONTACT ANYONE FROM WIX!
Absolutely do not sign a contract with Wix! It's a scam company with a lousy website and incredibly poor support!
Answer: There not bad, but they offer really poor customer Service skills. Doesn't matter how long you do business with them the only thing they care about is your money. So if you dont stay 100% on top of things on your end your screwed.

The recording first said, that "due to call volume, i would have to call back when they next opened on Monday (feb 13th!)" which means that they haven't changed their answering message for days! Then I tried this morning, and there is a new recording that saids that they will next be open on Tuesday feb Feb 21st! So. Fuck. Seriously. We can't afford to rebuild our whole site again with another service! And i've/we've had WIX for over 6yrs now..

Answer: One of the things that really bother me with Wix (besides them being so focused on extracting money from their customers that they tend to forget about everything else) is that they make these changes and do not care one bit to inform their customers that they are going to do this, so all of the sudden one has a site that doesn't function and unless one keeps checking daily whether everything still works as it should, one end up having problems. That's one of the reasons why I'm out and do not plan to use them much longer.
