I accidentally placed an order, realized my mistake 2 hours later and contacted wsjwine.com via their chat bubble.
They said they would try to cancel it but but the order has already gone to the warehouse and probably it couldn't be stopped. But if it was stopped I'd be charged a $28 restocking fee.
Just plain stupid. Of course no phone number available to speak with a human. WSJWINE.COM from now on.

What a joke! Prices are not back to the way they were. They would be average 50% off original so called your high price set at $29.99. Now you are lucky to find a price that's 20% off your high original price. You may get some new suckers to pay these ridiculous prices on wine no other retail carries but old customers like me know your scam. Large corporations only exist for their CEO and stock holders.

I have been a customer of wine insiders for many years and have never had a problem. Recently I placed an order and was never notified that delivery was attempted (which I think it never was). Long story short I never received it. Called wine insiders and they put the order through again….a week later same thing, order never received! This happened AGAIN with the third try. I have been buying since, at least, 2017 and never had a bottle that I didn't enjoy! Ordering is easy - although you have to be quick sometimes with some of the promotional offers. Prices seem fair, especially compared to my local sources. Shipping is free on six bottles or more which is a very attractive proposition. Delivery has become more efficient over the years to the point where an order is delivered at times within three days. Great to MD's Eastern Shore. The net result of all this is that I buy much more wine than once planned!

Placed two orders for a half case of wine priced at $21 a piece. Checked my tracking the next day to make sure I was home to accept delivery and both orders were cancelled (with no other notification). I called customer service to see why and was told that their was a pricing mistake on their website and they would not honor it. My two options given to me were 1. Pay full price for the sets or 2. Cancel the orders and receive a refund in 3-5 business days. Zero accountability for faulty advertising or an effort to at least make it partially correct.
Attached is their attempt at rectifying their false pricing. Basically, more money for them and not close to making anything right.
Attached is what they sent me once my review went live here, a $25 certificate for a combined $56 pricing error. Not remotely equivalent.
Been buying your wine for five to six years now. The choices are great. You can pick what you want. I never had a problem. I love the free shipping.
I told friends how good it was and they in turn bought from Wine Insiders as well.

I purchased the introductory six bottles (reds and whites). Given the low price coupled with the disappointment of receiving mediocre wines from a few wine clubs that I subscribe to, I didn't expect much insofar as taste and quality. I was pleasantly surprised with the bottles that I've tried so far and will definitely be ordering in the future. It is worth noting that this is not a wine club. There is no obligation to buy after your first purchase, which is a plus for me as I'm on the eve of breaking up with yet another wine club. Always skeptical the first time buying something sight unseen. These Folks deliver. The wine selection is HUGE. Pick a country and they most likely have some wine from there. And not just any wine, we have ordered about 5 times - meaning around 70 bottles - and have had maybe a couple that we were not fond of. Great Product, great service, great prices. What more could you ask for!.

We have been a member of one of their clubs for several years and have rarely been disappointed. Their wines are always decent and sometimes spectacular but equally important, their pricing and shipping costs (if any) are always very fair. I still purchase wine at our stores locally in order to support the community businesses (especially during the pandemic) but candidly, the prices and always better through Wine Insiders. Finally, the also had frequent specials that make it hard to pass up.

WI's customer service was awesome. I'm not someone to call a company and complain (not do I frequently write reviews) but I was aggravated when twice in a row my wine orders included expired coupons for my next order. I called customer service (Al) who provided me with an extension on my promo code and escalated the issue to ensure the warehouse was aware of their error and to correct the issue going forward. At one point, my cell phone cut out and me and Al were disconnected. Incredibly, he called me back in order to continue our call. When does THIS ever happen?! (Never). Oh yeah, the wine is fabulous, the prices are good and delivery is super fast.

Wine Insiders gave us a wonderful beginning to their offerings. We were enticed by a Groupon discount and easily purchased 15 bottles of random, but fine quality international wines. I am not put off with the fact that some wines may not be "international" as the selection is random and the US does produce some fine wines. Delivery was our only downside as the estimated date was changed twice, but it is understandable in these (pandemic) times. Even with the changes, we received our shipment within five days. The selection has proven to be very enjoyable to date and we will definitely be a repeat customer. We easily recommend Wine Insiders to others!
