Horrible experience at the Alderwood Mall, WA, shop.
Only 3 of the 7 dressing rooms were open. The wait time was 45 min. Plus. Sale associate claimed the lights in the 4 dressing rooms weren't on. The light to the entrance was.
I will never shop here again.
Most of my dresses are from this store, and it's easy returns just read the policy. I've been shopping at Windsor for more than 4 years and never had a problem with customer service.
I placed an order online, as soon as I place the order it popped up that the item was not in so it refunded me on my credit card I thought maybe I made a mistake and we did the order on a different size. Popped up again that item was not available. I then canceled everything and it showed that the two transactions were on my credit card but we're not charged. Today I look at my credit card statement and it charge me $200 for something I did not get I've been calling customer service and all I get is I'll transfer you and nobody comes or leave a voicemail this is unacceptable I want my money back.
Horrible customer service, never recieved my order then they blamed me.
Supervisor Mike is incompetent to the 99th power by telling my I didn't know how to input my own address even though I also spoke to customer service to confirm.
I returned a "special occasion" dress via USPS. 1. The company does not give shipping labels 2. I paid extra for tracking. My item was labeled as "received" on the 18th of OCTOBER. It's now days in November and I don't have a refund! I emailed customer service and they're unhelpful and useless. All they say is to give it more time. FOR WHAt?! You've had the item in your warehouse for over 2 weeks! DO NOT BUY ONLINE FROM THIS STORE!
I didn't even want to give one star. I ordered on May 27th & was told my order would make it to me on the 1st. On the 1st I was told it will be here on the 3rd. Well that day has come & go as well. Still no order. Do yourself a favor & not order from them. Online or in store
I ordered a package over a week ago, one of those order today guarantee to arrive by the 24th. Well since I was going out of town on the 25th I was very happy to hear it would arrive on the 22 instead! After the 22 came and went, the delivery updated to the 26, well after I will be gone. I called the costumer service and the person was nothing but rude, she would not let me change the shipping address, cancel the order, or do anything along those lines. Now I am just expected to have $170 worth of clothing stolen off my porch and they do not seem to care at all. I was very shocked with how rude the costumer service was, and now know better than to online shop here.
I had the displeasure of learning that I missed the window for a return I purchased 12/22/18, I was to have returned it by 1/7/19 because any purchases made between 11/24/18 and 12/24/18 had to be returned by 1/7/19. So if I had bought the skirt during the Black Friday, I get more time to return, but since I bought it right before Christmas I got less time to return. Does that make sense?
I went into the Windsor store in the Wolfchase Galleria on 11/05/2022 around 7pm. I was told that I could not use either of the 8 fitting rooms they had because they were all nasty and needed cleaning. I was then told if I purchased the dresses I had picked out (which were special occassion dresses) that I could not return them which was ok but at least let me try them on. The manager Bre said they were closing at 7 but there were customers still coming in. My husband and I were not greeted upon entering but was given plenty of attitude by the 3 workers that were there, one being the manager. I will never visit that store again.
Not only the quality is horrible, the size is not accurate, but you paid too much for delivery and also I never was told that I needed to pay Costums. So I paying more than a $100 CD. Fot a dress that maybe is worth no more than CD$40
Sent me a damaged item and wouldn't reimburse me or even offer store credit for the price of the item! Such a small price to pay to satisfy a customer and they couldn't even do that! I'm in customer service and know that what I was asking wasn't an unrealistic demand. Will literally never do business with Windsor online or in store.
Do not order anything in this online store! These people don't have any respect for laws and your rights as a customer! They shipped my order to the wrong address ( I gave them the right one, it was their fail). By the way I live in Mannheim and our street names are like in New York (For example, A7 or B5). It's the easiest address you can have. Ok, everyone make mistakes, no problem, I'm not angry. I called them and explained it. Two weeks later I wrote them that they have to send my order to the right address within a week (German laws want customers to do that, when you don't get your order at the promised time). No answer. Ok I order again and pay also the Shipping. They shipped it one more time on the wrong address. I got angry. I called them one more time. Nobody did anything. The next day I called them and said, that they have to do anything now, other way I have no other choice and have to inform German customer service and manage this by the justice. They laughed and said, I should not threaten them. Request to observe the law is obviously a threat and sounds very funny. The employee of DHL was very kind and called me to deliver my order on the right address ( it is actually not allowed). Without his kindness I would probably have to go to the court to get my order.
BEWARE OF USELESS GIFT CARDS. I was excited after receiving one for my birthday but then "policies changed" you cannot order online or by phone. They rarely stock XL anything, so three trips later to Windsor Stores, it was a huge waste of time and money.
I bought a shirt as a Christmas gift for my friend on 12/6/21. Upon my friend receiving her gift, I came to realize the thin strap on the shirt was tearing at the seam. I returned to the store on 12/26/21 in attempts to exchange for a shirt that was not damaged. Their receipts state you can exchange items up to 30 days after purchase. The clerk stated she would not be able to exchange the item because their policy is "14 days" I again advised the receipt states "30 days for exchange" she became flustered and got her manager. The manager comes over and says "no exchange. We clearly post signs that say you can only exchange during holiday dates" Well the holiday dates stated between the end of November to the day before Christmas. I believe I bought the shirt 12/6/21 so I do not see know that is not clicking with the manager.
The manager also stated it is a "red flag" that I am trying to return something damaged so late after purchase. Well I believe it is a red flag for employees/managers to walk around smelling like 305 cigarettes and being inattentive to customers. But any who.
Needless to say I did not get my exchange. Can someone explain why it would say 30 days on the receipt if they do not honor that.
So basically I had forgot to put it the correct billing address (I used my campus address on accident) and then it said decline because I didnt put in the correct address, so I did it and my card went through TWICE! So instead of paying $35.00, I paid $70! I called them and then they said it's gonna take 2-10 business days for me to get MY MONEY back! Worst online store ever I don't recommend
My daughter had her senior portrait sitting this week. She paid $28 for Express shipping so it would arrive in 1-2 days. We found out it was shipped from only about 2 hours away- driving. Great, it'll come the next day. She worried on day 3 when it showed "arriving Thursday" as that would be 4 days from 2 hrs. Away. I contacted Windsor asking some questions about the shipping method and only received, "It should be there Wednesday." They had the tracking as did I and ignored what it was stating. Further, I started to question whether they shipped it Express as we had paid for. They did not respond. Well, the dress did not arrive so she had to find another one for her senior portraits. It showed on day 4 and since I ship for a living I already new... sent 1st class. The difference is about $24 in shipping. How is that legal? They took her money and probably thought, "It's only 2 hours from here so we will send it 1st class and it'll get there in 2 days." I sent a few emails and they offered to refund her shipping. I am asking for more than that and will continue to warn people about their shipping practices. They still have not taken any real accountability or given me a reason why it even happened or how.
I went to the cashier/staff from the store. It seem like she was having a good conversation with her coworker. Meanwhile I'm trying to fit a dress. I ask her to open the door she went to the back and said there was a room they don't open which was room6 and the other one they have storage room7 and then She left. Another customer went to get her. To open room1 which was empty this whole. She had us waiting for almost 20 mins when there was a room available this whole time. And to top it off she place a sign that said fitting room close at 630 only having a few mins to try a couple of dress first time at this store and it already left a bad experience
Worse company ever. Wifey bought a dress for the New Years, dress dyed her body, watch, sheets, even the seat in our car. Talked with the store who said we don't manufacturer this. I look at the label it says WIndsor for manufacturing. I call the store back, well you know what I mean, I didn't manufacturer this so I have idea with caused this.
I then reach out to corporate takes days to get back to me, then another 2 weeks, they quickly want offered to take the dress back and reimburse expenses. Get a call back another 2 weeks later saying can't reimburse you for everything.
ALL THE MEAN WHILE I DON'T CARE ABOUT THOSE ITEMS. HOW ABOUT MY WIFE WHO IS STILL DYED BLACK FROM THE DRESS ABSORBING CHEMICALS 1 MONTH LATER HER SKIN IS DYED. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT HERE. TURNED MATTER OVER TO LAWYERS. JUST CRAZINESS, WORSE COMPANY EVER. RIGHT THERE WITH WELLS FARGO, VOLKSWAGEN, WINDSOR

Answer: Their shipping is slow. You can return but return shipping is not free for evening gowns (evening gowns cannot be returned to stores so they must be shipped back).
