BEWARE. I encourage everyone who has not received a refund from this company to call their credit card and do a credit dispute - it will teach Verge Girl a lesson for not honouring their customers and policies and playing double standards the way scammers do. It could be they use your credit card information to commit fraud. I had issues after submitting payment information and had to get a new credit card. I don't know if it was coincidence or not but it is highly suspicious.
+++++
I made a purchase in March 2020. Verge Girl took 5 months to deliver the item (lacy top and a linen dress). I naively believed VG and was super nice and understanding that a package from Australia to Canada would take during Covid. They were so apologetic about the delivery that I stupidly waited patiently. When the package finally arrived in August - by that point I lived 3000km away from Toronto as I had moved due to Covid. All my mail was being forwarded to new address but for some reason the VG package went to my address in Toronto. My concierge sent me all the packages, including VG, to the new address at a hefty cost - at which point I was instructed by Verge Girl to send the items back for a refund. We had totally normal polite conversations. All was great. I even was blindly trusting when they first created a problem: they told me one of the tops was lingerie (which it was not - it was a lacy top not a bra) so I again politely succumbed to their scammy wishes and was like ok - refund me for the dress at least. Then once they received the dress 2 or 3 month later in Australia - due to Covid-related impromptness in delivery (in which case was shorter than the 5 months it took to deliver to me - such hypocrites!).
But once they got the package and would not refund me - I was extremely upset when I realized that they don't play by their own rules and would not return the item neither will they refund me! Finally i decided to do a credit dispute and Visa was completely on my side even though the 90 day credit dispute cap was met - they refunded me even though it was 270 days or so after the original purchase because they thought Verge Girl scammed me! Then Verge Girl took this opportunity (I think they have practice and have this strategy down) to wait for that move to then not send the money nor the item back as promised so they 1. Keep your money 2. Keep the merchandise 3. Resell the merchandise for profit!
I am disputing a tiny amount of money plus shipping maybe $100-150 but the principals of honest business were not applied here which really bothers me to a level of that, yes, indeed I will use firm language where I am not being honoured what is in the contract. You scammed me and VISA - I want other people to know that and reading other reviews it seems other customers have the exact same issue with your return policies.
There is nor was there ever any unclarity with regards to my messages - the message was clear: refund me as promised or credit dispute. In other words, since they refused my bank refunded me - VG scammers kept the merchandise, relied on my bank to cover the cost and basically stole their own product to resell it. The product was unworn since it did not fit me/was too small to fit into!. Their lies are just lawyers of excuses for not being legitimate and trustworthy. They justify their own incompetence and scamminess in every way possible. Verge Girl is so dumb (note: firm / eloquent language to precisely describe VG) because I could have spent hundreds of more dollars on their products. However they are cheap in quality and Asian-sized or more sized for girls of 5' tall or teens with no boobs. On Instagram they were so fake concerned on Instagram for the public but in privacy of email they really could care less as their scamming of me and my bank and reselling the dress for further profits is literally theft. I hope everyone finds it helpful and here is their subsequent email in private which confirms what I had just wrote below.
Re "aggressive" language in response to VG: it is outright criminal for you to criticize aggressive language when you are literally scamming and robbing - consistant with other reviews on Sitejabber. Your best answer is attacking aggressive language - what kind of a language should I use when I am being scammed? Not everyone is going to tolerate your horrible illegal tactics! They are confused about wording and firmness is confused with aggression LOL. Again, Verge Girl is out to lunch!
In hindsight, you know when you just want to turn back the clock, I should have played by the same rules that Verge Girl is playing by: I should have filed a credit dispute right away when the items didn't arrive within a month and then kept the merchandise when it did arrive 5 months later. Sometimes being honest and polite with companies like Verge Girl is futile but I didn't know they were like this. It was a great learning lesson. Actually, perhaps I should do this just for fun - order, file credit dispute and keep the clothes to do the same as Verge Girl done to me! :) And encourage others to do the same. This is of course a joke but... maybe not... Treat them as they treat you! And I urge you to defend your money by filing credit disputes with your credit company if you had used your credit card for payment - teach them a lesson to treat people with respect and operate within the legal system.
Enjoy & have a great day!
From VG "Hi_____,
I apologise for any confusion. As you mentioned in your previous email
That you have contacted your bank to dispute this charge and received
A refund, the situation now lies with the bank.
As you have already been compensated for the goods in the form of a

You.
I am sorry for any inconvenience.
