Very grateful to Leigh Davison from Triage & Telephony Support for helping me set up the page I was trying to create. He proactively called me over the phone and explained clearly and the easiest way how to do the job.
We were contacted by Visualsoft about their product offering. At first we were skeptical about the solution and hidden charges however after understanding th ier model and offering, I beleive this is an excellent platform for businesses looking to go online and digital. I would highly recommend them to anyone seekin go to start a bootstrap e-commerce business.
Have been with Visualsoft since 2011 and I must say that their service has always been reliable.
There were issues a few years ago when I was told they were trying to scale however these issues have longe been ironed out and the fact that we're still with them 11 years on should mean something.
Shout out to Leigh from the Triage and Telephony Support team, your assistance as well as from the rest of the support team is fantastic.
Built a site with visualsoft in 2015, design/layout and function were all good. However they signed us in for a 12 month scoial media and PPC contract we knew nothing about. When we ask for this to be removed the problems started!
I was sold the site on quote "we are not one of the website builders that is out to take all the clients monies" however this is exactly what they are and possible the best in the market at it!
Even though they had been paid with no issue for site build and we were paying, monthly service charges, they insisted we keep paying the SEO and PPC fees after we requested in no less than 20 occasions they be stopped. Once we stopped paying these SEO and PPC fee they blocked the back end of our site.
Complete bullys and anyone thiink of using them should look up many other people similar stories
At present this client has an overdue balance of £10,657.86 in unpaid bills.
This unpaid debt is a combination of services which includes hosting, support, development and online marketing, many of which are 100+ days overdue. After months of ongoing discussion regarding unpaid invoices we had no choice but to restrict access. All attempts to help the client were made but regrettably we were unable to provide a service to this customer due to failed payments.
As standard with many service providers, we reserve the right to suspend service (and eventually serve notice) to any customer who repeatedly defaults on scheduled payments. Serving notice on a customer is not something we do lightly, it is very much a last resort and an extremely rare occurrence.
In almost 20 years of trading and over 1000 projects we have served notice only a handful of times. It's unfortunate that a small minority who abuse our good will and don't adhere to agreed payment schedules are able to tarnish our reputation in this way, which is why we felt it was important to respond to this review.
We have very clear and transparent pricing, sales process and project agreements. We do not scam anyone, and the 100's of happy customers (who pay their bills) and have left us positive reviews are testament to the good work our team do.

We have been a client of VS for over 10 years and have a great working partnership - great account managers and friendly support teams - Michael and Leigh deserve a mention for their help in support and technical questions
Saying that our experience has been a complete disappointment so far would be an understatement. Continually let down at every hurdle! We were sold what we believed to be a great package and an upgrade from Shopify. We couldn't have been more wrong!
As soon as the sales pitch ended and the contract began, the issues started to occur. It quickly turned into a nightmare, with slow response times and a lack of communication. Now almost 12 months down the line, this is hands down the worst experience with a platform we have ever had. Avoid at all costs!
The issues still remain, and even the simplest tasks take weeks to resolve. Any problem that arises are passed from team to team without any sign of a solution in the hope that we'll eventually move on from the problem or solve it ourselves.
Literally any other service to visualsoft is superior, and we've now spoken to dozens of our other companies on the platform and they've all had the same experience, many of whom have now been lucky enough to switch back to Shopify. Seriously avoid at all costs.
Ben from the FED Implementations Team quickly responded to my request and got the work done within minutes and correct, first time - can always rely on him to deliver and solve all of my requests when needed!
Rather than read the boloney from SK and James (which is blatently the same person as ive seen the exact reviews side by side on other review sites, probably a competitor trying to sabotage their reputation I imagine) call their clients up and ask them directly, there's 100s of examples on their portfolio.
When we were first introduced to Kevin Richardson, our new account manager one of the first things he wanted to make clear was that as far as he was concerned he was a member of my company as much as an employee of VS and that has been true everyday since.
Kevin's work ethic is superb.
I genuinely believe he thinks he is as responsible for our failures as he is proud and delighted of our successes.
Not something that Visualsoft as a company can truthfully say. In that respect
I have been with Visualsoft now for over 11 years. The platform is excellent, the marketing however can be hit and miss. The key to having marketing targets met/exceeded is entirely dependent on the passion, skill and motivation of your strategist, who controls and facilitates your marketing strategy, co-coordinating all members of your team.
After having issues in the past we have finally struck gold with one of the most driven Visualsoft staff members i can recall. I hope he does not move on, because if he does, so will I.

Answer: I run a multi-million pound platform and have been in the process of migrating our site from Visualsoft to Magento for the last year. I must say this has been a nightmare from start to finish. Non of the fault lays at the door of Visualsoft however, its purely been a Magento/developer issue. We felt we needed a change of platform after 2 years of success and at the time it was right for our business to "jump on the "Magento train" since we wanted to be in complete control. Anyway after a year of turmoil we may not be moving after all. I have personally overseen many migrations in my career as a head of Ecommerce and this has been a journey to say the least. I would be more than happy for you to contact me direct should you wish for a more detailed answer..
Answer: Legit. However, it took them nearly 2 years to solve what should have been a simple issue before our website finally went live in October 2016. Have done 2 websites with them. Highly recommend NOT using a combined admin panel as that has given us nothing but issues since the second site went live 5 years ago.
Answer: At the time (2014/2015) they were one of only three platforms offers we could find that would integrate eBay, Amazon, an own website, with Paypal, Royal Mail, UPS/DHL to streamline all the processes into one. We now have a separate site on Shopify which is different and relies on Apps for various parts of integration but it does the same job
