I ordered two different textbooks at the same time. One was processed and was shipped, while the order for the second book was cancelled due to the specific title being "out of stock." So many college students like myself rely on the availability of certain books, affordable prices and a fast delivery. Usually valorebooks meets those expectations, which is appreciated. But this time those expectations were met halfway.

I've just ordered my book so I don't know about the promptness of receiving my book yet. But when I was checking out, I couldn't for the life of me enter my shipping/billing address information. No matter how many times I tried to click on the state/zip code/city fields to enter those parts of my address, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING happened. I really hope this was just a momentary glitch, but if it was, it needs to be fixed immediately. I almost decided to just go buy my book somewhere else.

I've been renting from this site for years and I've never had any problems receiving or returning my books!
ValoreBooks provides no protection against renters who cancel order - processed and charged - if they see an uptick in demand of an item and repost their item at a higher price. I had my order cancelled four days after and was given an email saying the renter cannot process because the item is no longer available. I saw that the same renter (MarketPlace) has relisted my book on Valore site at a 50% increase. The renter lied. ValoreBook did not address my complaints and their customer service replies showed that it did not fully understand the issue for it had misattributed the problem at hand. This tells me that at Valore, this practice is a common practice. In the meantime, I am scrambling to reoder a book one week into my semester. Not professional and a horrible business model.

I have been using Valorebooks for years for my college books rental. They always have the books available at great and lower prices. In case the edition I need is not available, there is always a prior edition with a much better price. I only remember once that I mistakenly received the wrong book. The issue was dealt with and solved professionally and quickly. I love this site and always recommend it to others.
I was suggested this site by peers and decided to give it a shot as it was my first year of college. So i ordered a book that i needed for a class that i was getting assignments for and i waited two weeks and got no email for a tracking number at all only to recieve an email saying that im being refunded because my book was lost by the post office. Its not the post offices fault but it wouldve been nice to have been notified that there was problems with shipping so i couldve searched elsewhere for the book that i needed ASAP but no i waste 2 weeks of my time only to not get the book that i need.
This seems to be the best place to order books. From. Its fast and simple no problems at all. This is the place to tell all of your friends to shop for the best price you can find what your looking for easy. One of the best options for looking for what you need.

Good prices and lots of books. They buy your books back at the end of the semester and you can you that money to buy books for the next semester.
When order textbooks, I always check the Valor site first because they offer the best prices. This company is reliable, ordering is easy, and I have never had a problem.
The site prevented me from entering mailing address city and zip code.
The only way it works is if you enter your street address and then select the other info from a pop-up menu.
A fine system, but if you miss the pop-up menu, there are no hints on what to do next. Ended up doing the entire form again before I got it to work.
A single line of text next to the street address text box could have resolved this issue.
I always get my college book from here because it is the cheapest than various other sites. I really do think this is the best site out here to rent out expensive books for cheap.

The website is easy to use and is straight forward. It definitely finds you the best deals. Instead of paying $200 for a chemistry book I'm probably only going to look at for 4 months, I paid $25. Thanks, ValoreBooks!
This is the worst textbook rental company I have ever dealt with. I have had many problems in the past such as receiving the wrong book. I tried contacting them to get the correct book that I ordered and I never received responses to my many attempts. Shipping took a very long time and continued being delayed. Thought I would give them another chance this semester so I ordered another book a week and a half ago which was expected to arrive in 3-5 days. Well here we are a week and a half later and I still do not have the book and there is no tracking information available. Even though the prices are cheap, I strongly recommend ordering from another company so you will be guaranteed to receive your books.
