I registered as a buyer on Tradekey. I received lots of replies from companies trying to sell me the products I advertised for. It was pretty obvious that they did not have a clue about the products I was asking for and they were scammers (mostly companies from India, Pakistan and S. Africa - the products I was after are not available in those countries).
I only received one reply which looked legitimate. A supposed Mr Paul Walsh introduced himself as the Business Development Manager of a North African company and said he was acting on behalf of his manager (the owner) and provided facebook page and website for the company. His email address however was *******@sd.tradekey.com!. And his English was not good enough for a Paul Walsh. He eventually passed on communications to his 'manager'. The information coming from the 'manager' seemed to contradict what Paul Walsh had provided and when I asked the 'manager' about the role of Paul Walsh, I was told that he was an employee and agent of TradeKey assigned for communication and research customers and based in Pakistan!
The whole TradeKey thing is a big Scam and should be avoided
