I strongly advise against using TopCV. My experience was not only disappointing—it was professionally dangerous. The writer assigned to my CV fabricated research contributions, inserted misleading job details, and ignored my clearly stated instructions. If I had submitted the version they sent me to an academic institution or professional organization, it could have called my integrity into question and severely damaged my career. Despite multiple requests for a full refund and detailed documentation of their errors, the company minimized the issue and only offered partial reimbursement. Their standard policy states "all sales are final," yet they promote "satisfaction guaranteed"—a contradiction they seem unwilling to honor when faced with serious service failures. TopCV also continues to hold my personal and professional information despite my explicit request to delete it. I do not trust them with sensitive data, and I believe their lack of oversight poses a risk to anyone in academia or medicine relying on accurate and ethical CV support. Proceed with extreme caution if you value your reputation.

Paid £135 and then waited for 10 days to get first version. The writer was a dull person who knew nothing. Emailed them thrice to change my CV writer but they didn't. Don't waster your time and money here please

The 1st review of my CV was very good. As a result, I paid a lot of money to have my CV written, together with resume and linked-in profile. A total waste of money. My CV was obviously put through AI and then produced absolute nonsense. I was asked to make my adjustments I then made my adjustments and returned the CV.
Why pay TopCV to do something you could do yourself?

All good reviews are written by themselves.
They have absolutely no idea how to write a CV! What information you will fill up in their website, they will use it to add in in a basic, simple CV. They don't add any relevant information, only inappropriate things. They're using AI (ChatGPT), and they don't even bother to change the language back to British English.
They don't follow or even read your instructions, they don't tailor it to your industry. It took them 2 weeks to come back with an AI written CV, which you could write in elementary school. After I asked for refund, there is 0 response! Please be aware.

TopCV presecreened my last CV and provided me many professional information on what's missing and which hit rate the CV would have by search engines, searching for keywords. Those information already seemed professionally discovered, so I decided to let TopCV optimize my CV. What can I say, the visits on my LinkedIn profile raised rapidly and I was able to find a job where I could even get a higher salary. Therefore, the little invest has already a huge ROI and was absolutely worth it! 5 star recommendation!

Don't waste your money. They made my resume worse. It was created by software. There are grammatical errors, context doesn't make sense. I gave my feedback, it's been 5 days I haven't heard from my writer or the support team. This is basically fraud..

From start to finish I knew this project was not going to be a waste of my money and my time. Furthermore and more importantly TopCV made me feel so relaxed while the professional team members did their work.

Pay high fees and get a generic template after two weeks. Then spend a month talking to their nerve racking customer service and then you can start from scratch with less time and money than before. Most their good reviews are evidently fake, stay away from these scammers!

I assumed it would be an automated service but was pleasantly proved wrong. The critique I got from John was insightful, incredibly so!

He discussed the points I missed and highlighted parts that would suggest a different message (than I thought) to potential recruiters. I got many takeaways from the evaluation and would recommend TopCV anytime. And to think that the critique was completely free!

I sent my resume in the hope of being written by a professional HR from my field. However, even after two revisions what I got was my resume just paraphrased and a little different format. I didn't find the writer skillful enough who can add her contributions to it. There is no difference in interview calls after using a resume made by TopCV. I would say that it was a complete waste of money.

I paid for a CV and covering letter.

They sent back a CV which had awful grammar, syntax and even spelling. Inserted the word "spearheaded" several times!?!

I complained and they responded a few days later. They said it was a draft.

Second draft just as bad.

I asked for a refund. As the job deadline I needed to apply for had passed.

I've spent the last month swapping emails as they refuse a refund and also refuse to answer other basic questions like how I complain etc.

Avoid at all costs.

CV-now produced a brief and concise product from my lengthy and awkwardly written CV. Not only did the agent filter out my most significant attributes and formulate them in a very catching way, he also developed a format that made the perception easy, really appealing to the eye.
Besides that, there were no long waiting times, the communication with the assigned agent was polite, quick and effective.
After using my new CV on different professional portals I am receiving an increased amount of job offers.
I can fully recommend this company.

Anyone getting paid to write a CV would do so accordingly!
You feed them with your existing CV along with sample jobs adverts and you are assigned any writer (It could be a dustbin clearer) will compose a draft CV base on the their format for all their customers. In turn you will get opportunity to highlight the draft CV for further improvement. Overall, great service but poor quality of work! If that makes sense: S Its been over 4 weeks not a single call from even an agent. Had better result from old CV which i created myself... Lesson Learnt with a debt £129
