Living in Florida I wanted a tire that had superior handling in wet weather. Looking at the ratings I came across the Yokohama Avid Ascend GT. They were $40 cheaper than the OEM tires and had better ratings across the board. After selecting the tires, during checkout the site automatically forwarded me to a "choose installer" screen. Took me only about 2 minutes from start to finish to complete my transaction and provide shipping information. 24 hours later, I receive an email saying tires had been delivered to the installer I requested. This was fast and easy and highly recommend this to anyone.
Needed tires quick for my wife's Honda Pilot. Two days later, we had them. Tire Rack never disappoints!

The tires arrived at the approved shop I selected. The tire rack site said that only shops that can work on your vehicle will be shown. The person at the shop refused to mount the tires, he said I should go to the dealer that he wasn't willing to take the risk of damaging the rims of my Maserati that it was "only a tire install and not enough money for him to take that kind of risk" so I had to call someone to help me haul away the tires to another shop because they wouldn't fit in my SUV. Just Tires had no problem installing them and couldn't understand why he was uncertain that he could install a set of tires without damaging customers rims. I agree, I will never go to that business again.
(I very seldom write reviews.) My recently acquired 2005 little red truck with off road package had well worn tires leaking air at the rims. I was ready to stop relying on big box tire stores and auto dealerships to take care of me. My small town mechanic recommended TireRack.com. Armed with photos of my truck door post and tall tire side wall I found TireRack.com offered more matches than I felt confident to choose from. Then I tried their Tire Decision Guide "the right tires in two minutes or less". A minute later "Sorry" there is only one tire that matches -- perfect! I ordered four tires that afternoon. That evening Todd phoned from Tire Rack to wondering if my unusual tire order would fit my wheel wells. I confirmed the off road package, the numbers on door post and side walls, my preferences for quiet and smooth street use (not off road). Todd was satisfied I had ordered the perfect tire. I think so too. I drove them several hours for first time yesterday. Good price. Excellent customer service. Friendly online user interface. What's not to like?
Shopping online was quite straightforward and the website was easy to navigate. I used Paypal to pay with a foreign Credit Card and was told that Tire Rack only allowed Paypal with a US card. That was ok with me; I switched to my US card, but I do think that this was unnecessary, and probably would restrict TR's business.
Shipping was fast and the tires were received in perfect shape.
I would certainly use TR again.

The wheels would not balance after two tries by the installer, Tire rack recommended that the installer try again with road balancing but NTB does not have the equipment or no of any of the local tire companies that do. So I need to take the wheels off and return or get additional info on who can fix the problem.
