First of all, this is my first time using Textbookrush and their marketplace listings and all that. To say I was anxious is an understatement! Not being able to see the books offered made me uneasy about using the site, and emailing sellers to get confirmation only to be told they didn't know made things even worse.that was, until I found Alibris Marketplace. The specific book I was looking for has tons of different copies and different cover art, and to find the one I was looking for was proving super difficult. Until! I saw Alibris had several listings for the book, and emailed them to ask which copy one specific listing was(thinking I'd get the same "I can't check our warehouse idk" answer as always)! But the next day, I had confirmation that it was exactly what I was looking for! The second that happened I bought it- at an amazing price for the book and shipping btw- and it got here quickly! I can't thank Alibris Market and Textbookrush enough for helping me get a book I've been agonizing over. Seriously, if I could I'd give Alibris Marketplace 100 stars I would!

Every semester I sell my books back and some come in loose leaf form and I wasn't told that they weren't acceptable but I have sold them back before through another textbook company with no problem or issues and I'm not pleased with not being informed

Acct creation didn't like my hotmail address. When buying book with my regular credit card received message my purchase was cancelled. "Fraud cancel" is what was listed on the generic response.

It was really easy to enter ISBNs and get a quote. I shipped the books and once they arrived, they processed my shipment and mailed me a check for the exact amount quoted

A specific book I needed for class was listed on their website so I ordered it because the price seemed good, as I found out too good. The package came within the week and it was not what I ordered at all the publication date was different the cover was different, plain and simply it was absolutely not the book that they advertised. I contacted them through their customer support and returns. The emails just keep going back and forth basically asking why I couldn't just use the book they sent me for class. I got fed up over the course of this back and forth emailing and said I'd report them to the better buisness bureau if they didn't just let me return the book and they stopped responding. I sent a fresh new message through their website with customer service again and they didn't respond. I did that about 3 times and they must have just blocked me. I'm extremely inconvenienced and quite irritated by all this, taking advantage of college students who have little money to begin with is incredibly dishonest and greedy. Just ignoring us because we have little to no recourse, they obviously cannot be legitimate if they are acting this way. I just wanted my rightful money back for them and also for them to not be able to scam any more college students or potential book buyers in the future.

Textbookrush had the best prices for the books I sold. Good communication regarding receipt of books and when sale would be processed. I haven't received the check yet but it has been processed.

They are refusing to pay me and refusing to return my $100+ textbook I bought right from the publisher claiming it is "counterfeit". I believe them to be fraudulent and basically steal books. DO NOT DO BOOK BUY BACKS WITH THEM!

TextbookRush is a scam. DO NOT sell your books to them. They claimed my $70 book wasn't "valid" although it was bought straight from the publisher and is the correct book. They were trying to find a way not to pay me - and to top it all off they will not even return the book to me! DO NOT USE TEXTBOOKRUSH.

Textbook Rush never hesitates to buy my books. Easiest experience of them all.

I've sold and bought books on textbookrush so I am an experienced shopper on textbookrush. I've never had a problem with them cheating me out on the price of money for my book or receiving a book in bad quality. I honestly have saved SOOO much money from buying from them because my community college over prices the books that I need and I always end up saving at least 70% savings from buying it on textbookrush. One seller who I really trust is TEXTBOOKNOOK. Whoever they are, THANK YOU SO MUCH! Because the quality of the book I got from them is AWESOME. Also, when you sell your book, make sure it's in good condition and don't lie to yourself that it's pretty if it's torn up lol. That's all folks! And lastly, always read reviews for sellers before you invest your money in buying something from them!
