Swagbucks starting to scam people.
August 27, 2022

I'm officially tell you guys now, swagbucks turned out to be a big scam, i goy paid in the past and nothing seems to be going on, i was happy with the platform and a loyal user. In total i might have reffered around 40 people that all used the platform too. Ofcourse THEY GOT PROFIT OUT OF THAT. But after a month or 3 i got banned for no reason at all. I got a new pc and the only program i had was a virus scanner, no vpn's or anything, no other platforms banned me and i even messaged some of them that told me everything was fine. But swagbucks decides to BAN me. And thats not the only thing, i've waited for 8 WHOLE MONTHS and all they do is send me a automated respond that i don't get my account back, but they are even too lazy to tell me what even the reason is, because clearly they don't seem to know. The way swagbucks threat its customers is bad, and it seems like all they care about is making money themselfes, if you know how to earn (and yes, legit) they don't wanna pay you out no more and in the end they just give you the silence threatment and then they just give you the mitlefinger. Look my recent post on Scammersoflnstagram on instagram where i explained more. This is REALLY BAD. If you decide to use this platform PLEASE dont use the cashback options because you might lose evenmore, i heared someone say that they lost 500 dollars this way plus the winst out of it. Swagbucks was once a great platform, but now its going down hill. This. Is garbage. And no, i don't care if uguys tell me ''this decision is permanent'' i don't let youguys treat me like this, THIS is my honest review, and this is what you get if you treat your customers poorly.

Appalling/Atrocious and Unethical Company!
May 4, 2022

This is regarding the Swagbucks.com website.

I was a fiercely loyal, dedicated and steadfast member for over 4 years.

A few days ago, Swagbucks randomly decided to deactivate my account.

I reached out to their Customer Support asking the reason. They responded days later with a non-specific and generic response that I had violated their user terms (but wouldn't specifically state what I was alleged to have done wrong).

I had NOT received ANY warning email letting me know I had done something wrong on the site before being deactivated.

I was loyal and dedicated to this site. I have NEVER done anything dishonest.

I invested my own hard earned "real" money into deals, for years, under the guise and promissory understanding that I would receive compensation back.

I only bought many of these deals because of the indication by the site that I would be reimbursed in the form of SB.

The Swagbucks Support refused to provide me with a specific cause for deactivating the account. They did not provide any proof or evidence to support how I violated their terms.

I can only conclude that this is a random attack/retaliation against a loyal member. I was given NO ability to defend/refute or contest any claims (nor do I even know what the supposed claims against me are). And I received NO email telling me of any alleged infractions.

My account was in good standing, I never did anything dishonest on the website and I was given no ability to appeal and defend any claims potentially made to demonstrate my innocence.

It seems like maybe the site "bait and switches" customers into purchasing deals for the promised compensation, and then deactivates them and keeps the money.

I consider the website taking my pending rewards as stealing from me. I spent real money on these deals and now I will receive nothing from the site (as agreed upon to reimburse as part of the allure of purchasing the deal).

I was a member since November 2017 and I quite literally was on the website daily, almost all day and gave them so much business for their partners/advertisers and sponsors.

I expected much better treatment than what I got...

Steer clear of this website at your peril. It will literally "Cost" (you) your hard earned "real" money and they will give you NOTHING in return!

Tip for consumers:

Don't use them! They will "Bait and Switch" you after you've spent your "real" and hard earned money on their deals, only to renege on the promise of compensatory reimbursement and then will deactivate you and say it is your fault!!!!!

Swagbucks Used to Be More Fun, More Friendly
April 5, 2021

When I started using Swagbucks, in 2012, it was fun. The surveys that said they lasted a certain amount of time would almost always stick to it. Now? A survey that is listed as lasting 10 minutes usually lasts 30 minutes, then, participants will often get disqualified instead of the points listed. This means that the person just wasted 30 minutes with nothing to show for it.
Whereas the "search wins" used to pay out in higher amounts, usually 50 - 75 SB, sometimes as high as 200 - 500 SB. Now? It's usually 4 SB - 9 SB. When Swagbucks has what is called "Collector Bills" or CBs, the payout will temporarily be a higher amount for a short time.
I left Swagbucks for a couple years, deleted my account, went back in 2017, establishing a new account. It seems to have further deteriorated.
The site, itself, while it has many activities that pay out, has more problems than a math book in that many featured ways to earn stop working, with no notice.

The section of the site where you answer one question for one point has a comments section that has become a cess pool of trolls, scammy posts. In the past year, I have emailed Swagbucks about this, four times to help to make them aware of the problem.
Nothing was done, not even the courtesy of a reply. The scammers were gone, the trolls remained.
The trolls spend all day every day making snarky, nasty, downright mean comments, attacking others, driving the people who actually act like adults, away. I had to change my name on my account as the trolls used my information to find my other social media accounts, went there to further harass me. Swagbucks was made aware of this, STILL, did nothing.
Finally, I decided to never go back to the comments section, which is a shame, I enjoyed posting information to help others struggling to make ends meet in the eco downturn. I was driven away by trolls.
There is another feature called The Swag Button. Although I have uninstalled it then installed it, is still not working. I sent a message to the Swagbucks site, asking for help. That was 2 months ago. No reply.

The bottom line on Swagbucks is that you can make money from the site if you are very patient. However, the money is cumulative, if you are looking for overnight wealth, you have better chances if you buy a lotto ticket.
Swagbucks could be better if the site mangers did a better job at addressing issues when they are reported.
I gave it 2 stars because I'm still able to put $$$$ in my Paypal account on a steady basis even with the glitches, frustration, trolls.

Swagbucks Review: Is Swagbucks Legit or A Scam?
By: David Weinrot | April 2,2020

What is Swagbucks?
Swagbucks is a free online rewards membership program. Members simply sign-up with an email address and password. And, after members verify their account, they can start earning points in the Swagbucks rewards currency called SB. Once members have as few as 300 SB, they can redeem the points for free gift cards or free PayPal payments.

Is Swagbucks Legit?
It's easy to have suspicions about or question the legitimacy of a website like Swagbucks that's given away over $400 million to its members. It turns out, however, that Swagbucks is 100% legit with hundreds of thousands of happy users.

What's the evidence that Swagbucks is legit?
For starters, Swagbucks' parent company has an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau. Swagbucks also has over 16,000 reviews on Trustpilot with an overall rating of 4 1/2 star (out of 5). There are also countless write-ups across the web attesting to Swagbucks' legitimacy. A simple search for Swagbucks Reviews on Google will turn up numerous results from several different review sites, all of which report that Swagbucks is definitely NOT A SCAM.

How do Swagbucks Members Make Money Using the Service?
There are a number of ways that members legitimately make money online using Swagbucks.

Take Surveys for Money
Members who complete Swagbucks surveys will SB. Market research companies work with Swagbucks to collect members' opinions through online surveys, about products and services. Members can complete these paid surveys through the Swagbucks app or the Swagbucks website.

Getting paid to take surveys is probably the most popular way to make money online through Swagbucks. It doesn't require users to spend any money to make money. And, because it's such a popular way for members to get free gift cards, Swagbucks has a special Swagbucks survey app called Swagbucks Answer. The Swagbucks Answer app has a 4-star rating with over 23,000 reviews in the Google Play Store and a 4.3 rating in the Apple App Store with over 21,000 reviews.

Get Paid to Scan Receipt
Swagbucks pays its members to scan receipts from places like grocery, convenience and drug stores. To make money by scanning your receipt, simply download the Swagbucks app and snap a picture of it from within the app.

Get Paid to Try Products
Yep, you read that correctly. Many companies use their marketing budgets to "pay people" to try their products on a risk-free basis. For example, Swagbucks members get paid to try services like Hulu, Disney+, StashInvest or ButcherBlock.

Get Cash Back When you Shop Online
Swagbucks members can get cash back from literally thousands of stores like Walmart, Best Buy, Home Depot, Target, Hotels.com, Old Navy and countless others. To get cash back, Swagbucks members simply click through from Swagbucks to whatever store they want to shop at. Or, Swagbucks members use the popular (and highly rated) Swagbutton, which is an awesome browser extension that alerts members whenever they are shopping online. The Swagbutton also shows valid coupons that help members save even more money when they shop online. Swagbucks likes having its members spend time on its website so much so that it pays them to play games. The most popular Swagbucks game is called Swagbucks Live. It's a live-stream trivia game show that airs Monday - Thursday at 8PM Eastern/5PM PT. Swagbucks offers up to $1,000 in prize money for each game played. Each game attracts over 20,000 players all competing for a piece of the grand prize. Swagbucks has figured out how to reward its members to watch videos. Content creators want people to see their videos and their content. One way to ensure that people see that content is to reward them for viewing it. Swagbucks is absolutely legitimate. It has paid out over $400,000,000 to members. There are countless members who have earned as much as $12,000 using Swagbucks.
