STEAM CALL1 - HT-T862-FW5G-WP69
Dear Steam / Valve.
I would like to find out how it is possible for someone to gain access to my account?
I have two factor authentication setup (did not get any prompts of new logins)
Then for whom ever to sell everything sellable from my inventory with out me having to approve the sale on the app?
It was 159 transactions. (this is not normal behaviour).
I would like for you to explain this to me please.
And then while you at it, I would like my items returned to me.
Hello,
Sorry to hear about what happened.
If activity occurred on your account you do not recognize, it may mean your account or computer has been compromised.
Someone may have gained access to your Steam account through spoofing, phishing, or malware.
As an immediate first step, you should take some action to secure your Steam account from further access. Our article on account security recommendations is a good start toward securing your Steam account.
If you suspect your computer is infected with malware, we have some tips for removing malware from your computer here. It may be a good idea to contact a local computer security expert if you're having trouble removing this malware.
Additionally, all Community Market transactions are final and cannot be reversed or refunded. When an item is purchased from the Community Market, the cost is sent from the buyer's Steam wallet to the seller's. Reversing these purchases would mean we have to take funds out of the seller's wallet, creating confusion and possible purchasing issues across Steam.
I'm sorry we can't be of more help with this, but we don't reverse or refund Community Market purchases and sales.
At your service,
Arisa
Hi Arisa.
This response is not up to scratch.
This is the generic response that you copy and paste all the time (i have 3 cases open and this response is word for word the same.)
Just go to show how much you care. (AKA you do not, because you still make money of these transactions)
You will need to give me a better explanation on my case specifics.
As my account is up to par with all your security standards. And yet this still happened? HOW?
So please give me a more personal response as to why this happened to me rather than the generic crap you posted above
Hi. I also would like to find out how it is possible to buy 79 items in one purchase? And then that this was from more than one person?
I mean. You can clearly see this is not normal behaviour. Why in the right mind would any one do that. Or even buy the same expensive item twice?
I would like you to trace the IP of this transactions. And provide me the IP.
Thanks
Hi there,
I'm sorry to hear that your account was used without your permission. I know it's frustrating to hear that we can't reverse Market activity.

STEAM CALL 2 - HT-674T-KC97-RGG7
Hi,
This does not help me at all.
My account is secure. With a very good and long password. And with 2FA enabled.
About 80% of the items sold was RARE, IMMORTAL, so why was there no prompt on these?
I have done everything from my side to secure my account, and yet this still happens?
I do not click on any random links, and PC does not have a Virus.
I do not join any group game links, or invite to join teams.
This is completely unecceptable and there has to be a way to fix this, prevent this. This is 6 years of collecting items Gone, and I have done nothing wrong?
You will have to implement a way to fix this, as I am sure I am not the only person this happens to.
I mean I know of a lot of people that this happens to?
What is the point of 2FA and app confirmation of sales, if this does not work.
AND to top this off you as steam / valve just do not give a $#*!, because you still make money from this
YOU ARE PROMOTING THIS BEHAVIOUR, AS YOU ARE NOT DOING ANYTHING TO PREVENT THIS.
At worst case. Give me / us a button to lock our items? Or make them unsellable.
Because your answer is not acceptable,

Steam Call 3 - HT-6TWM-932H-CCF5
I am opening a call again. This time with reference to the below two calls:
HT-T862-FW5G-WP69 and HT-674T-KC97-RGG7
1st - all your responses are the same and a generic copy and paste from a list of responses you do. This is not acceptable.
2nd - I have done all the security requirements on my account and do not click links or join random games, or game servers.
3rd - In one call you said I must approve the sale of items when it is above $1 or rare or higher items. Most of mine that was sold was rare or immortal. (why did I not have to approve this?)
4th - I need to know what you are doing to prevent this from happening, because it does not matter what I as user do, it still does not work.
5th - Do not give me copy and past answer on this?
It looks like this help request is a duplicate of another you have recently submitted.
As indicated in your previous help request(s), we have provided all the information we have.
As previously mentioned, all Community Market transactions are final and cannot be reversed or refunded.
Additional information can be found in our Community Market article.
While it may not be ideal, we hope you understand our position. We have no way of restoring lost or scammed items and can't compensate your account in any way.
If you're concerned about security, check out our Security Recommendations article.
Because we have provided all the information we have for your issue I'm closing this help request. If you have an unrelated issue please open a new help request and we will be happy to help.

Steam call 4 - HT-TFG9-2X2N-3CVV
My Previous call was not a duplicate. HT-674T-KC97-RGG7
I am waiting and answer from A PERSON, not a bot pasting generic messages.
I do not give a $#*! about the items!
I want to know why my account was hacked with out any 2FA promts?
Do not send me the plain copy and past message about Phising and spoofing.
Because that is not what happened to me. And even if it did, there should still be 2FA prompt that should have come up, WHY DID IT NOT?
And then You also state that only items of value $1 and above. Or rare and above require approval on the app, WHY DID IT NOT?
So PLEASE answer me on the above, and let me know what else I should do, As I have done all the security requirements, and yet you can not protect my account

So a few days ago I tried to purchase a bundle before the fall sale ended, but ran into issues as I could not get the bundle to add to my cart it would only offer the purchase as a gift option.
I was trying to buy the counterstrike bundle but it would not add as I already have the free version of csgo in my library. At first I thought this was some sort of glitch on my mobile app so I restarted the app still nothing I attempted to figure out how to remove the free version as I thought maybe that was the issue but was unable to figure it out how to on the app.
I've had demos of other titles before or other free versions and have not needed to remove them in order to upgrade to the full game or purchase the full game so naturally being that these are valve products and steam is a valve owned company youd expect them to have it worked out so people don't run into these issues, and to ice the cake without removing the free version I can add csgo to my cart and proceed to check out without receiving the product already owned or in library notification on the cart screen. Yet when I try to add the bundle i can't because it claims csgo is in my library. I mean yes I could have just bought the game by itself as it would add to the cart but when csgo was on sale for $8.47 and the bundle of all 3 counterstrike games was on sale for $8.29 it seems kind of illogical to pay more for less.
All this said I sent in a ticket sharing my frustration and questioning how this issue was occurring well expressing my confusion that it will let me add the game but not the bundle, and after waiting a day and a half received responce that basically says sorry there's nothing we can do for you, more a less it's not in steams policy to offer customers anything for having a bad experience with there service followed by the instructions on how to remove the free game from my library and the recommendation that I put the game on my wishlist and wait and see if it goes on sale followed by a shameless plug for there weekly sales and daily specials.
Here's a company that makes billions in revenue annually from people like myself who regularly spend on games, and then as a customer you reach out in frustration over a bad experience caused by issues with their store and they respond with sorry for the inconvenience, its not our policy to offer items at discounts before or after sales, so if you want the game your going to have to buy it at full price or wait, but in the mean time be sure to check our specials section for more great deals... Great policy tell an upset customer who spends money every week on products that the only help you can provide is the advise to look at the other products that can be bought... Never in my life have I had a support representative try to sell me products when I'm complaining about a problem I had with their service while trying to purchase a product.
I didn't request the game for free or at a discount for my trouble, but did expect that they would make some sort of gesture. I sent in the ticket questioning why I was experiencing the issue to begin with and why I can add the game to my cart but not the bundle this was never answered instead I received steams policy on offering discounts outside of sales and steams sale Schule like it's not advertised enough everytime I open steam weekly deals deal of the day.
None the less as this is drawing out a bit long I'll end off with this after receiving the response I was less than satisfied and responded again in dissatisfaction and will have to wait another day and a half to see if I get another response and weather or not it will yelid any different results, I will 're write or post a new review if steam manages to show some better customer service support but as it stands now steam don't care about individual customers they make more than enough to survive if they loose a few customers so they don't go out of the way and try to give you a reason to continue using their services if you've had a issue they shrug it off. In contrast I messaged amazon a week ago after receiving 2 different shipping estimates when I placed an order. I just wanted to know which one was correct so I'd be home when it arrived, they clearly explained how their shipping system works let me know which estimate was the correct one and went above and beyond in apologizing for my confusion and credited my account a free month of prime which was worth more than the item I had purchased to begin with. Some company's care about their customers others only care about money I'll let you decide what type of company steam is.
I did not purchase or download anything after seeing how they work. I don't want someone selling me a game without being very clear that I must sign in to their website every time to play. I found the Catan game I wanted for a couple of dollars more, but without the sign in requirement at http://download.cnet.com/Catan-Cities-and-Knights/3001-*******_4-*******.html?spi=61a8b91b69abb*******c3b37a0a6ef7a.
