I have been using stamps.com since it first became available. All features are well integrated and broadly effective. The site is superior to FedEx and UPS. USPS is doing a fine job.

Convenient

We switched from Pitney Bowes, and it was a very smart move.
Convenient, easy, quick, and doable.
We're able to process stamps and shipping labels in the office.

Stamps.com takes some time and initiative to get it set-up. It takes some trial & error to learn the postal rules and how much postage to use. After that IT IS AWESOME. I save SO MUCH TIME by not going to the post office every day and every week. I had to go pick up a certified letter the other day and waited 20 minutes in line. I don't miss that at all. I strongly recommend stamps.com.

First, I wrote to Stamps.com on the 28th and have not heard back from them to resolve my problem!
I have been trying to send very important mail since the 26th and can not do so!
I am very aggravated especially that this mail should not be sitting on my table!
This is my correspondence:
I am trying to create labels for certified mail to be printed on paper. I have the slips to be written for the certified part.
When i try to access the drop down for first class mail under service it doesn't give me the option to select regular first class mail. I only get an option to pay $1,00 for a large envelope. I am using standard # 10 envelopes.
I am at a loss since I did this a couple weeks ago without a problem.

I will be cancelling this once I use up my balance. Not worth the monthly fee for the convenience. I can print my own parcel post postage directly from USPS and order stamps direct from them as well at NO EXTRA CHARGE.

No Time To Waste!
April 23, 2020

I have had the service for over four years now and I am very pleased to say that it saves me a lot of time. Looking back, I have save the many trips going to the post office. I do not have to be concerned about running out of stamps, envelops, boxes, labels, etc. because everything I need for mailings can be right to my door in a few days. As a matter of fact, the only time I have gone to the post office lately is when I am on my way to the vicinity, and I decide whether I want to drop off.

STAMPS.COM JUST SAVES ME SO MUCH TIME!

Membership

Your membership is too high as the discount is great but doesn't pay for the membership cost as can get the same from Post Office as don't have to go there either, but PO doesn't give discount and when you make a mistake for a refund it takes 3 weeks to get the money back?!

I HAVE BEEN USING STAMPS.COM FOR MORE YEARS THAN I CAN REMEMBER... IF I EVER DIDN'Y KNOW HOW TO DO SOME THING OR HAD A PROBLEM, I CALLED THEIR TECH STAFF AND IN A FEW SECONDS, I HAD THE ANSWER. THEY ARE FANTASTIC.

Instructions were poor. Printing alignment was off. $5 in the garbage. I very much like the idea of printing stamps at home, but apparently there was not sufficient quality control.

At first I was opposed to paying a monthly fee for a postage service so I bought a postage meter from another company to use for my small business. What I saved in a monthly fee was not worth the frequent battles to get my billing corrected, so I switched to Stamps.com. Yes, there is a charge for the stamp labels to print on, but this is offset by the reduced cost of first class postage versus stamps purchased at the PO. I love being able to print postage for packages and just walk into the post office and drop my packages in the box without waiting in the long lines at the post office! For personal use, I love being able to buy the special stamps labels for birthdays and other occasions. There are two reasons I gave four stars instead of five. One is that all the Christmas stamp labels are secular and there isn't even one religious one. Two is that software upgrades are difficult to accomplish because it keeps seeing the old software as open and will not allow the upgrade to be installed.

SO Happy With It!

Fantastic, especially for people like me who are older, somewhat handicapped and unable to make it to the Post Office! I can mail heavier plain maill and packages that are picked up by our dear mail delivery people, My one wish is that I could mail packages that are really just Media Mail or Parcel Post.

Great service

Our business used to have a postage meter. It was expensive, with only 15 days to pay the invoice, and they wouldn't take credit cards. Stamps.com is much more convenient and easy to use
