I've really, really loved working with Society Performers Academy. The staff is incredible, knowledgable, and really passionate about giving young performers the tools they need to have a strong start on their journeys in art and life. And of course the kids seem to have an absolutely amazing time with it. You can tell how eager and excited they are to be doing what they're doing. I think the program gives them a self-confidence, charisma, and poise that reach far beyond the arts and into real-life skills. I feel like these are attributes that will serve these kids really well both in their professional and social lives. And to be honest I think it's a valuable learning experience whether a young person wants to be an actor or not. This is just a great way to develop as a person in general, but of course it will be especially useful to young padawan actors and performers. And it's a lot of fun. I wish I had this program when I was a kid, and in the future my own children will definitely be enrolled as well. Highly recommended.

During this sad and life changing time of COVID-19, Society Performers Academy and Joe were right there for our kids. They all stepped in to build classes online ASAP to try to make what looked impossible possible, WOW you guys. Acting, ballet, voice, cold reads, hip hop classes you name it they offered it. Both east coast and west coast to try to put a little normal back into the craziness of this pandemic for everyone especially our kids. A big thank you to Society Performers Academy and Joe Lorenzo. I honestly felt like I wasted money and time putting my child in this. I was skeptical at first about putting my child in it but read nothing but good reviews. Everything is done via zoom and ok i get it it's covid but 1300 dollars later and a month of zoom classes later plus a showcase with "real talent agents" I have nothing to show for it other then a half $#*! review from a talent agent no call backs and no really worthy of me spending any more money. I would say they are real and they do put you infront of talent. But the basics of headshots making a resume and showing us how to do a self tape can all be googled as well as auditions for things can also be googled save your money any real chance of stardom will not cost thousands

We are new to this, but every time I have a question or need help with something Joe and his team (Amy and Brielle) are so quick to respond and don't seem to mind how many questions I have to ask to ensure I'm dotting all the i's and crossing all the t's.
Also, the amount of coaching time and prep time for showcases is great! If you aren't taking full advantage of the talented coaches you are missing out. My daughter has learned a lot in a short time!

We signed up for an open call audition, luckily we were called back along with so many other talented children! It was such a blessing to have Joe, Jay, Byanca, Kila, and Tiffany guide towards the right direction on how to become a STAR. My daughter was allowed a photoshoot, bootcamp, acting class, and last but not least after hard work and dedication, she was able to do an audition for a couple talent managers, And behold! The agency wanted to sign her! We are overwhelmed with gratitude and can not wait to see what the future holds for Heaven. Thank you Society Performers Academy for starting us on the right foot, and god willing we can do major things! Couldnt have done anything without you! Ya'll made this possible.

Society Performers is THE place to be when you aspire to become a young actor! Their coaches are very experienced and give clear & constructive feedback. Their staff is super responsive & helpul, and Joe Lorenzo is just the BEST - He guides you well and is very kind & respectful. My child is in good hands & after just 3 months with them, he has already booked a movie role! We are SO proud of him, and thankful to SPA - You guys ROCK!

This is our daughter's first attempt to step into the acting realm and we couldn't have found a better group of people to work with. We started this journey right before the Corvid-panic, so we have had experience pre-chaos and during and during this whole thing they have remained ever-focused on helping and engaging with us to keep this process moving. Joe and Jenn are simply beyond words - super attentive, knowledgeable, and (best of all to me) approachable. I called Joe "Mr. Lorenz" in my first email communication to him, and he made sure I never did "Mr." again, haha. I like their coaches, and they have an incredible passion for all they do. Joe and all on his team (everyone) makes you feel like family, and they take the time to know your son/daughter. Put your trust in these people, and you won't be let down. This first attempt has been amazing, and that's saying something during these times!

This Academy is amazing! The powerteam behind this organization is amaIng! My son just started training a month ago and he has already learned so much and has impressed us all. If your child is interested in this industry this is the Academy to attend

As an amateur to the whole experience you and your staff was available with an answer for EVERY QUESTION (even when the question was asked a coupleof times LOL!). We was never turned away and welcomed with excitement and superb professionalism. With that I will like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart. My granddaughter Treasure Sermons will never forget this opportunity and the smile that the whole staff put on her face will always be a photo etched in my head and heart

Short review: I would absolutely recommend SPA. We are very happy with the program. If you want to get your kid into the acting industry, SPA is the program you need if you don't have the knowledge or connections.

Long review: I saw an ad on Facebook for a kids acting workshop and thought it would be Cool for my daughter to learn acting. I took her to an open audition at the Hyatt Regency in Princeton, NJ.

The people there were very professional and told us that this was an industry workshop and the kids would be auditioning for talent agents in a showcase at the end. They informed us about how the industry works and warned against paying talent agents up front for representation.

They clearly explained that their role was to prepare the kids to be industry ready professionals which is what the top talent agencies look for when booking new talent. She auditioned, received a call back, and started the program about a week later.

There is a wealth of education provided by Society Performer's Academy. Not only do they teach the children, but they teach the parents too. Joe was always on standby to answer all of my questions. The workshops were taught by real industry actors and models.

They always made it clear that there is no guarantee that a talent agent will pick you. It will ultimately be up to you and your child to do the work. We followed the program and all of Joe's suggestions. She received 2 call backs from talent agencies.
