I've used fly predators on my small hobby farm since 2007. We've had an assortment of stock from chickens to hogs to horses and dairy goats. We've not only used fly predators but also practiced Spaulding fly mitigation recommendations in our management. They work. This product is well worth the expense.

I live in Kentucky, which has hot and muggy weather for 6+ months of the year. Before using Fly Predators, I cleaned my barn twice a day and aired out and changed the bedding frequently, but I still had more flies than I felt I should with everything I was doing. I started using Fly Predators about 5 yrs ago and immediately saw a difference. I still do everything I mentioned above, and now the fly population is much, much lower. I first had them autoshipped every 4 weeks but for the past several years I have moved up to every 3 weeks because I started getting more flies than I wanted during that 4th week. While my barn is not "fly free," the Fly Predators are by far the best solution I have found. I also feel that the cost is reasonable, it's a very easy process to distribute the contents of each shipment, and I love the convenience of autoship. My shipments have always arrived on time. I highly recommend them for anyone who wants an easy, effective, chemical-free fly solution.

I have ordered fly predators from several companies over the years and Spalding is the absolute WORST company I have ordered from. Their first shipment was dead, no signs of life after two weeks, I called to let them know that, they said they'd send a comp shipment pronto, they never shipped it, they admitted it had not shipped when I called them the next month. That next month's shipment also never arrived. We had flies all over the place. I asked each call that someone in the company contact me within 24 hours to let me know they were shipping. They NEVER responded. I cancelled the whole year's subscription and am demanding a refund of the dead early shipments I already paid them. They don't care how they treat their customers and they show utmost disrespect to their customers by refusing to respond to a paying customer when the order failed over and over again.

Had staffing issues. They also had customer service issues for

Me. It's a shame that they don't care. Reviewing their facebook
Page reviews, it appears this is a common problem with them.
The used to be good, now they are not and won't resolve

We have used fly predators for 3 years or so with our small herd. We have found them to be very effective in controlling flies.

A year and a half ago our area was hit with Pidgeon fever. A highly contagious illness which requires very strict quarantine and lengthy health care. I decided to try "Fly Predators" as I did not want to go through this again and Flys are how this disease spreads. I was able to get most of y i my neighbors to also purchase "Fly Preditors. We were almost completely Fly free in our neighborhood. Even though Pidgeon fever continued to ravage the neighborhoods surrounding us none of our horses in our neighborhood contracted it again. We have been using the Spalding Labs fly predators for years and would not want to be without. The product quality, customer service and ordering process are all fabulous!

Our foundation Appaloosas come from very hardy stock but the flies on our Southwestern Idaho ranch were driving them nuts. We practiced good manure-handling, hung fly-bait bags everywhere and sprayed our babies top to bottom. But it was getting unmanageable.

Thank goodness we found fly predators! What a savior. Cut our fly population significantly the rest of that first season we used them and we powered up for the next season early.

The results have been amazing. Our farrier was amazed the next summer as he was fly-free while trimming our small herd. Other ranches he worked were miserable with heavy flies.

Now fly predators might not get rid of every single fly - impossible on a horse ranch. But they have made it possible for our horses and humans to enjoy the summer rather than battling nasty fly infestations.

And it's not JUST the fly predators! Bye bye odor gets rid of ammonia smell naturally and quickly.

That's another thing I like about Spalding Labs their approach to ranch life is natural, good for the environment and good for our horses and humans. We don't have to worry about a buildup of pesticides on them or us.

Can't say enough about Spalding Labs and their fly predators, we will never go a season without them again!

We love this natural solution to our fly problem. Our house is not too far from our pasture and barns, yet we had no fly problem to speak of.
