Snapchat

I purchased a $5 geofence frame for a huge party, and they sent me emails that it was going to be working, and then another one the day of the party that it was in force. No one could get it to work. There were 40 of us in costumes having a great time, and not one of us could get it to come up on the Shapchat app. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I tried 4 different avenues to contact them to get my money back since Feb. 10 and NO ONE HAS RESPONDED. The phone customer service is an announcement to go to their useless website and read the FAQ page. RIP OFF!

Snapchat has zero accountability when it comes to harassment and privacy violations. I've reported multiple incidents, including: Threats in private chats Public Stories exposing my private conversations Despite reporting these multiple times, Snapchat refuses to take action. They told me that a Story publicly humiliating me and twisting my words "doesn't violate their terms." How is this acceptable? This isn't a one-time thing—I've faced harassment before, reported it, and got the same useless response from their security team. They don't care. I was a paying Snapchat+ user, but I canceled my subscription because their moderation is a joke. If you're thinking of using this app, DON'T. Your safety and privacy mean nothing to them.

Snapchat is literally just an app that rewards you for texting. If you fail to do so, your streak breaks. To prevent streaks from being lost, people send meaningless pictures of nothing that spam your inbox. As someone who doesn't text much, snapchat is the biggest waste of time I've ever seen. You could literally just text your friends when you need to and remove all the useless trash to keep your streak.
It's also not safe. One of my friends was severely cyber bullied on this app. It's also full of catfish accounts and accounts posing as minors.

Watch out for creepy men looking for sex on here. Luis Chanaga liked to chat up women and get them to meet him alone so he could get sex. Married man and highly visual religious leader. Beware married men, men in politics, Christian men all trying to have secret relationships.

The new snapchat update is so stupid, overwhelming, and confusing. Not to be so negative but this new update sucks and lots of people are complaining about it. I know the snapchat authorities were only trying to make it better, but ya'll messed up this time. I liked having my stories and my best friends/streaks separate instead of together. I did not have my updates on automatic but for some reason my snapchat still updated. I still know of some people that have not yet been effected by the update, lucky! All in all snapchat is my go to app. I'm on it more than any other social media app and I just love it but this new update, I don't love it. I tried to fix the problem by deleting snapchat and re-downloading it and it did go back to the old snapchat but as soon as I cleared the app off my phone and got back on it, it went back to the new update. So please snapchat, bring the old update back!

I recently unistalled SnapChat because it was taking up too much space on my phone. It was taking up close to 380 MB. It was literally the application taking up the most room, with FB Messenger being the close second.
I rarely used the app anyways because I have no data on my cellphone, it's not in my contract. So I could only use it if there was wifi and where I live there is a monopoly on public Wifi with a cell company that is not mine.

Tl/dr Takes up too much space, useless if you don't have data.

Reasons i love using Snapchat is because they have funny filters and i can go back into time and look at any memory i recorded for myself.
