I never take telephone solicitations. This company is based in Austin, Tx. So I listened. I saw the value and signed up. I am not social media friendly it all seems a big pain. These people have driven 4 new google reviews, facebook reviews and Yelp has improved. I am impressed. Today I just sold my first project which has paid for SignPost for the year. Worth every penny!
I recommend Signpost to all! My reviews are soaring, and the email service is getting me in contact with clients who otherwise would have forgot about me years past. The nominal fee is very affordable for the results I'm getting, thank you! --Chandler Media & Design
Thank you Alex! We look forward to continuing to drive reviews for your business moving forward.
Signpost is an essential to business reviews. Also, TJ Jones was the total game changer for me. He was very professional, knew answers to all my questions and got everything done for me super quick. I can't thank this guy enough.
Hi Paul, thanks for your review! I'll pass along your kind words to TJ- he's the best!
I signed up with Signpost so I could easily text customers for last minute changes or sales. The hidden bonus of their services... The much higher star ratings and increased positive reviews I'm getting on FB, Google & Yelp.
I admit, their sales technique to have you learn about their product may feel overwhelming... but their product is not. It systematically approaches the customers a few at a time with weeks in between to increase those ratings & reviews. It's easy to use and I set up a monthly call with my rep. For me, it keep me accountable to my marketing tasks which often take a backseat to the daily operations of my small business.
Michele, we are so happy to hear your comment and to be able to help you market your business! We look forward to continuing to work together.
Signpost has figured it out. The biggest factor that leads new customers to a store is through internet reviews. Signpost has not only helped improve our rating score, but also quadrupled the number of people reviewing our store. They are tapping into the positive experiences that never get reported. This service is worth every penny.
Thank you, Nick! We look forward to continuing to drive reviews for your business moving forward.
We switched to Signposts about a year ago, after trying out another very popular online site to try to enhance our online presence. We have been very pleased that we did. Though we did receive some complaints from our email list that they were getting too many requests (from Signposts), I recently was able to speak with a service rep and we have adjusted both WHO gets the emails, the language IN the emails and the frequency. True, I wish I had been aware of the options earlier, but I'm glad to have them now. AND, we are VERY pleased with the online reviews Signposts has generated for us!
Hi Kathleen, thank you for your kind words! I'm glad we were able to come to a resolution for you.
As a reminder, you do also have a chat option right in your Merchant Center for any questions that arise. If for any reason we can't help you there or you'd like to actually speak with someone, you do have that option for scheduling an appointment with an Account Manager.
We look forward to continuing to assist you and your business!
We thoroughly appreciated the ease of use Signpost offered when interacting with our customers after their services. Invaluable that less than stellar ratings were brought to management's attention before becoming public info! The option to have several review sites available for our customers was also valuable.
Hi Stephanie, thank you so much for your review—we're glad we were able to help out with your marketing efforts!
Iggy was the person I was in communication with. I wrote everything down he told me about the service. I told him I was looking to update my marketing plan etc going forward, but I needed to review my finances. He called back a few times (before I was ready and really busy). When we finally spoke as soon as I mentioned I could not afford their service at this time - Iggy just hung up on me! Wow. Thank god I didn't do business with them. And it's a lot of my, automatically deducted from your card every month ~ $200. They have gotten mostly bad reviews, which goes along with my experience. Iggy, I'd find a new job, because your customer service is terrible and the whole company doesn't merit trust. Ps... I put one star, because that is the only way to write a review. Sign Post deserves NO STARS. Buyer beware.
This is a very bad company. They charged me for three months instead of two and took more money then was supposed to be and stealing money from contractors.
I signed up for a year of their service. They did some helpful things with my social media accounts at first, but this person disappeared and I never heard from them after the first few months. WORSE, they continue to try to charge me after the contract expired and I cancelled in writing. Have notified them several times, they always acknowledge by automated response, but never do anything. I got an email from a representative about a month ago. Told them to quit charging me and close my account, as I had already cancelled within their terms. No response from this person at all. And they are still trying to charge me. HUGE hassle. NOT worth it.
They do not deliver on their promises; any extras cost more money; high pressure sales with little to no delivery of services; will call numerous times to get you to sign up and then once they have their money expect nothing from them in return Go with another company if you truly want results
I can't quite fully give Signpost.com 5 stars... yet. It's not because of their team. They are doing a wonderful job! We have just been a little slow to implement all of the systems fully. I'm sure they will be as successful as promised though!
Thanks for your review, Terry! Hopefully we will start generating outcomes for you soon!
They added no value to my business. Everyone is sweet talking with empty shell in the back-end. I am a software programmer. Have worked at it for sixteen years. There is no artificial intelligence behind it. I can get the same reviews from my past clients. The campaign manager is all controlled by them. Even the editor does not work. I cannot automate an email campaign. Everything is geared for reviews. I feel my clients will be beaten up to get reviews. When I asked to cancel, they said I would have to pay $1350 as cancellation fee. Terrible company - STAY AWAY.
Can't say enough bad things about this company. I fell for their marketing hype, and chose to sign up. To date, 4 months in I've received 0 leads that I didn't create myself, and I designed the Web pages they claim to do for you 90% on my own! They manipulate you into purchasing, and they can not deliver. Worst waste of money I've ever used.
Honestly... rough start... but they definitely made every effort to keep my business and work through some discrepancies. The reviews are coming in with little effort on my part and it's making a big impact to our online presence. It really is simple to use and very effective.
Thank you, Michelle! We are very happy to hear of improved results with minimal effort from you!
I had been burned by many vendors, who say they can get you "out there", but nothing happens. This company has really gotten new customers and old customers to write reviews and give me ratings. I'm sure I'm not utilizing half of what they can do, but so far, I'm pleased.
Terry, we are so happy to hear your comment and to be able to help you market your business! We look forward to continuing to work together.
I contracted with Signpost for a 1 year period. I mainly wanted to increase reviews online for the company. For $1,750.00 I got 3 reviews on Google, 6 reviews on Yelp and 2 re-marketing sales. I also receive multiple complaints a month from non customers they spam from my email. The concept sounds good but does not work very well in practice.
We did over 700 projects this year. Seems like it would of generated more than 9 reviews and 2 sales. Seems like it works for some people just did not work for us. Taking a cruise with the $1,750.00 this year.
After throwing money away w other companies who promised immediate results and never delivered, we were pleasantly surprised to see immediate results with Signpost.
Our positive online reviews with Facebook, Google+, and Yelp have increased more in the first two weeks of having Signpost than would have occurred in 6 months organically. Luke and Derrick were personable, knowledgeable, and very helpful, never pushy.
Marianne, thank you for taking the time to write us a review! We look forward to continuing our relationship - feel free to contact us with referrals or for account support anytime!
Signed up six months ago. I wanted help to get found on google search. No better than 6 months ago! All I got for $250/month was about 10 new reviews I could have gotten myself for free. Did not get a single new lead through them. Total waste of $1500!
They call and call, make huge promises, use persistent sales tactics. So, I decide to look around online at the reviews. What I find is that Signpost is disingenuously using/abusing the review sites to try to counteract all of the horrible reviews they are getting from real customers.
Sure I found positive reviews on every review site - but most of them were obviously written by employees of Signpost, not their clients. The few that might be clients are obviously guided by Signpost because they say virtually the same thing each time.
I could have gone either way after the calls, but seeing this orchestrated campaign of online deception tells me all I need to know about this company. I will stay far, far away.
Answer: NOT! I got a less than 5 reviews ON google from past clients through signpost. I got zero new leads through their campaigns and emails.
Answer: Hi Fred, Occasionally we get some unhappy customers, but we have over 7000 happy customers. Feel free to check out the happy ones here: http://www.signpost.com/testimonials/
Answer: You can't 1year contract if you want to cancel you need to pay the rest of the months in one lumpsum.
Answer: Hi Genevieve, we have not analyzed the results of our restoration industry merchants specifically, but we have observed great results for merchants in the home contractor industry! You can check out this area of our website for more insights: https://www.signpost.com/customer-results-home-contractors/
Answer: Hi Frank, Would you mind sending a screenshot of the billing statement you are referencing to support@signpost.com? There should be a complete number listed on all of our communications. In the meantime, the best number to reach us during our business hours of Monday through Friday, 9am to 6pm EST is (855) 606-4900 -- our support team would be happy to help you out!
Answer: A contract is reuired, you must pay up front, and they will not allow you to cancel. Stay away!
Answer: Signpost takes a lot of work to reap any benefits; it's not as easy as the pushy sales staff would have you believe. The real problem occurs when you try to leave. They require payment up front (in our case one year), and will not refund anything when you cancel. This is a very shady company, and I would recommend staying away!
Answer: Dave W's [Signpost Rep] above, is a classic example of the problem with Signpost; you can't just cancel the service. They bill you in advance, will not refund what they have billed (even if you quit using the service), and make it very difficult to cancel. You can't just click a button, or send an email, you have to endure a long sales pitch by a tricky, and very aggressive, sales associatte. Best to just stay away! QUOTED FROM DAVE'S RESPONSE: Dave W. [Signpost Rep] On 7/7/17 Hi Albert, Thanks for submitting! You can contact either your sales representative or our support team directly. Our support team can be reached at mia@signpost.com or 855-606-4900. They will connect you with your Account Manager, who will offboard your account with you.
Answer: Good luck John. You will have to endure a long sales pitch from a very pushy sales associate. In our case (sounds like others had similar situations), we had to cancel 30 days before the contract automatically renewed. I contacted Signpost the day after their $2,000 charge appeared on my credit card, and they refused to budge. Nothing... Best to stay away from Signpost!
Answer: Dave W, it sounds like you a have a really terrible job, trying to justify the way Signpost treats clients. In my case, I'm out $2,000 with no recourse, for a one year contract that I don't want. Shame on you!
Signpost has a rating of 2.9 stars from 270 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Signpost most frequently mention account manager, sales rep and credit card. Signpost ranks 1st among CRM sites.
