Excellent service from order to delivery. Quality of materials and construction is very high, clear instructions. It has allowed me to combine three separate tool boxes, into one portable unit, with sufficient draws to allow grouping of all my tools. Very happy, and an excellent price too.
Bought an air ratchet set from SGS.
It failed after 30 seconds attached to an air line with no load. Initial response was that I needed to buy a bigger compressor. Then they suggested we should up the air pressure above their recommended operating pressure. Then they said that they could not take a return on a used product. On their site they claim to have a 60 day returns policy and a 2 year warranty. How is this a used product?
Would never use this company again.
Unit was a good price, delivered quickly, easy to assemble. Put together in 10 minutes. Good value for money. Courier used gave an hour time slot on day of delivery and was prompt and polite. Unit itself is good with plenty of room for my tools. Casters help it move really smoothly and added hooks on side are good for hanging regularly used spanner's on. Unit arrived and undamaged. Very happy with purchase and would definitely use SGS again.
Purchased a chain saw, 20" came with tools and a spare chain, has worked brilliantly and without any fault lobbing down a palm tree. Great tool at a fair price for domestic use with good instructions on how to se, stay safe and maintenance. Top dollar. I would recommend any of my friends to look at SGS 1st, to gauge price, value and the build quality against other brands.

Ordered two 3 ton low profile garage trolley jacks, these are heavy but build quality looks great and very robust. Ordering process was simple, communication was great and delivery next day was spot on. Would certainly recommend SGS.
On purchasing a gas strutt only to find it didn't fit. I returned and SGS have said they will not refund as there was a minuscule scratch on it. The strut had only been taken out of the packaging to see if it was fit for purpose and then packed away again. I don't see how I scratched it. They supplied a photograph and was clearly a very small scratch. This company was easy to take my money but not very forthcoming to give it back. BEWARE!

On opening the box straight a way you can see this hasn't been thrown this is something built to last he absolutely loves it and says it's a joy to use.

I've been buying products from SGS for quite a while now. A compressor, tools, axle stands and wheel dollies and consumables to name a few. Never had a problem and always dealt with knowledgeable, friendly staff. Certainly wouldn't consider any other supplier. Added bonus of dealing with a UK company.
I bought an SGS mechanics tool cart, reading the product lisiting i had all the information i needed to make a purchase key dimensions were easy to see on the page which sold it for me. I paid via paypal which was another convenience. The item arrived very quickly to my address in northern ireland (the additional postage cost was upfront and reasonable). I was very pleased with the item it has significantly improved my workflow when working around cars.
I had a plastic cowling on a compressor that was damaged during transit. I bought the item a year ago but had not unboxed it yet.

Being relatively new to the world of compressors, usually use gas / electric operated nail guns. Thought i would give air a whirl. Found the website to be well laid out and explanations were both clear and understandable. Delivery was incredibly fast i. E next morning (paid the extra). I have been using the compressor and nail gun over the weekend and has proved to be worthy investment

Very impressed. Seamless support from start to finish and my package arrived earlier than expected. Not only did I find the gas struts I required but also an informative instructional video on the product page I could review prior to purchase in case I required any specialist tools to complete the job.
I was amazed how efficiently my purchase was dealt with despite my ringing and asking for accessories to be added, which they were without any problems. I haven't used it yet, but it's all present and correct and I'm looking forward to having a go!
