The minimum distance you can choose for matches is 100 miles. I live in a large metropolitan area. When I first joined, I was matched with people many hours drive away. When I looked through ten pages of matches and found a handful that were in my area, ALL hadn't been on line for a month or more. When I phoned to cancel, I got a recording to leave a message but the voice mailboxes were full. Email is unresponsive. Oh, and if you're looking for seniors be aware that this site is 30 and above. This is a site to avoid.
I have been on paid for four months. Lots of fake perfect profiles to hook you at the beginning to subscribe. Then the site dries up and few new members.
Most females don't post pictures and wait months between logins. They tag too many profiles as "new" but that have been on the site before I joined.
I rarely get follow up when I follow up on a profile but get a hit from some 30 year old in the Philippines! Sad site, hopeless and I will change sites in early May when subscription ends... stay away...

I am beginning to wonder myself about this site as I find most request to see private pictures only-- upfront, so I just automatically deleted those who wants private pictures. I thought a good way to sort the trash.
I originally thought the private pictures section was to protect the identity of family and friends in our pictures in-which I had my grandkids, thinking I didn't want their pictures with me to be seen until I vetted those I didn't want close up in my life. Surprise!
The comment on my summary profile stunned me. Gross dude, really talk about skipping a few beats of decency. No thank you.
I think it's more a hook up site. One dude I thought; hum, maybe, tried to fool me by whispering sweet nothings from one profile then sending the request for private picture from a second profile while on his original one with his face demanded absolute honesty. Omg; when I called him on it by saying: "I've never been that blonde". Poof--turns out he was a magician and disappeared with his no face side kick. Talk about good riddance

I don't think Senior Match is worth the money. You have to pay to really view people's profiles. There are a number of other free dating sites like OK Cupid that I think are better. Also if I were going to pay, I think I'd pay for Match.com (which I confused with SeniorMatch when I first signed up).

I had high expectations with this app but it failed miserably. About 30% of the people are scammers trying to get your phone number and most of the other 70% are too far away to even matter. It kept telling me that it matched me with someone I liked even though I had not even seen their profile. I had better matches on FB dating in 30 minutes than I have had on SeniorMatch in 30 days. Waste of money. Big sigh.
