The worst service you can receive from any company. You will never be able to speak with a supervisor. All their agents are overseas. When you goods are damage are missing you are on your own. The will put you on hold giving them time to document them just hand up. I few minutes later you will get an email that you can't respond to. This will go on for month as in my situation. They even refuse to send my products back to me as I am Requesting.

I could not recommend Amazon Seller Central to anybody. I spent five months, paying seller fees, only to get the runaround by staff constantly. I have several pages of cases which were opened and closed during those five months. Persistently incorrect advice, conflicting advice, and incomprehensible advice is de rigueur. Staff do not help, they simply want to get rid of you as fast as possible. If you're thinking about selling on Amazon I would strongly advise to think about selling somewhere else.

Amazon hurts sellers
September 13, 2018

I have been selling on Amazon for over 10 years as 3 different sellers. Amazon has diligently caused negative points to be placed on my seller metrics, allow buyers to commit fraud against sellers, and their functions constantly change without integration.

They are extremely egregious to sellers: Sellers beware.

Don't seem to care about their sellers. My mom passed away on the same day as a lady placed an order. On top of that the order notification went into my spam folder for some reason. So about two weeks later I happened to come across it. I sent her an email apologizing for the delay and said I would get it to her after Christmas. She was very nice and understanding. Amazon was not.
My page continues to say that the shipment was never sent out. I even told them I sent the buyer a tracking number, but they act like they don't know how to fix my seller page. I told them CONTACT her to see for sure if she got it and then fix the problem on my page. So far, I am just going in circles. This makes me want to switch to Alibris - they can't be any worse.

The Seller Central site itself offers virtually no explanations of why things happen.
1) you keep not getting paid over and over again
2) it is not explained on the reports you generate
3) if you call in to get support you end up teaching the help desk what their site looks like
It is really just a lesson in futility.

It is standard for cases to carry out for months and months with Amazon with no resolution. Amazon 'made a mistake' on our account that affected the photos and details of all of our listings and merged listings together with discontinued products. They did this without our authorisation and after 5 months they still have not fixed the problem. The online support chat may as well be obsolete as the support representatives do not have the knowledge or skill to fix any of the problems without escalating it further with their technical team. This is by far the absolute worst selling platform our business uses as it's almost not worth the sales when we spend most of our time fixing mistakes that Amazon have caused. If only 0 stars out of 5 was possible.

Disgusting se

Disgusting service no real answers and they lie with empty promises just to get you off the phone but never do what they say they will do I could go on forever about how bad they are but I don't have the time and there's probably not enough room to type it all down ".

Don't sell on Amazon.com

I have sold books and games on Amazon for about 8 years. I have always had excellent feedback from my customers. One day with no explanation they removed my shipping privileges and said I can only sell if I send all of my inventory (over 3000 products) into amazon for them to ship. I was not able at the time to appeal this removal as they had not suspended my account in the proper way. They have kept me on hold for the last month while they did their review and now say they have removed my shipping because of bad feedback ( again my feedback is all good) and other things that have nothing to do with shipping. Amazon does not value their sellers. I would not recommend selling on their site.

No phone number support for Amazon Sellers. Account suspended abruptly with active customer orders. No adjustment for shipping times. Amazon will refund your customer without knowledge or access to customer. Two step verification is terrible to get through to access account. Overall headache all the way around. We have decided to stop the frustration and abandon this selling ave. Be prepared to struggle.

In my life I have never come across so much disorder business. The support is just a joke. No one speak English or all they do is send you automated reply. You can ask then any thing you will get copy paste reply. I have never ever seen anything like Amazon support or Amazon it self. To figured out Amazon make sure to contact angels because humans won't get it. They support is in India and they could care less to resolve or fix the issue. Shame shame shame.

I will never again list anything for sale on Amazon. I sold an item, shipped it to the buyer the day it sold and he was satisfied with his purchase. So, I paid for shipping, broke my neck to go out in the freezing cold weather to ship it out right away, and almost a month later, I have never received payment from Amazon. I added my bank account info as instructed but they continually send me emails that they do not have my banking information. I have gone back into Seller Central and edited it 4 times and I have still not been paid. I only have one bank account and one routing and checking number - yet they continue to say they do not have my information. It has been extremely stressful as Amazon have no "Real" people that you can speak to in order to resolve an issue. It's frustrating, to say the least.

An order fulfilled Amazon got missing, only to be told by an incompetent seller support representative that they can investigate an order that was paid for by the seller. Seller support is mostly useless as they do not even respond to some of your complaints at all, even very critical ones. For a platform that cares so much about customer satisfaction, it's clear that sellers are not held in the same regard.

They are clearly Buyer centric platform not at all support seller even when the buyer is at fault.
Its like if buyer claim A-Z, they will refund the money without even going to depth of problem & without asking for any proof.
It is the worst platform ever, we loose our money more than the profit we gain. They encourage buyers for more scam.
It is better to buy on amazon not sell!
Hope one day will come when they start thinking & play fair with sellers as well.

I recently bought a book for my teenaged kid about Astronomy from Amazon as I have been an Amazon customer since 2012 onwards. The book was priced at ₹ 550 and a discounted price was shown as ₹ 368/-. When I received the book, I was shocked and surprised to see the book carrying an MRP price tag showing its price as ₹ 199/-. I took this up Amazons Customer Service team, but as usual I received a lengthy apologetic email and nothing happened after that.
Now that same book is priced at ₹ 499/-
This is not the first such instance happening with me and every time they just send an apologetic email and close the issue.
Strange and Pathetic policies they have as they are trying hard to increase their supplier or seller base and not identifying such fraudulent and deceitful suppliers and getting them shredded from their website

I called customer service because of the problem with my listing. The message said to call the center and mention an error code. The connection was awful, lots of feedback in the back and woman voice sounded like a broken computer. Hard to understand. After series of questions and 7 min wasted she connected me with another department. Another 10 min of waiting... until the connection was cut.
WHAT IS THAT?!

I give one star because there no way to give (0), Stay away from Amazon if you want sell anything.
Amazon is a rip off. I sold a product for $13.17, only I get in return $3.79, and still have to deduct the shipping charge, my the transportation, the hand labor of my product. How people can make business with Amazon?
I do not see any good doing business with amazon at all, I will look for others alternatives where to sale my product, but amazon is not an option.
Good luck to those who want to sale their product there.

Absolutely the worst customer service in the industry. Cant get a person on the phone, cant get the messages to go through, There is always an error. No one ever replies. Been selling on here for over 10 years and each year its worst and worst. Jeff Bezos should be ashamed of himself.

Terrible interface coupled with useless support from an instruction manual. Wastes so much of my time with repetitive responses and copy and paste responses when I actually require proper support. Pure greed on Amazon's part.

I had a customer that changed her mind and wanted to ship back her $1000 leather chair. I told her we would gladly take it back but that since the chair was delivered on time and there was nothing wrong with it she had to pay the return shipping cost (If we as a company ate the cost of all the shipping costs on customers who just changed their minds we would be out thousands of dollars). She said she did not want to pay the return shipping cost and opened up a claim with Amazon. Amazon then went into our account and refunded her the full amount of money without letting us know and she still has the chair! I then appealed it with Amazon saying that you didn't even reach out to me about the claim and they basically said "too bad." So now we are out $1000 and some lying customer just got a free $1000 chair.

Literally took 8 thousand dollars from me because customers wanted to keep shoes even tho they were not so called "authentic " I've provided invoices and everything they have asked for. Now they won't even respond to me. SCAM bad business. Customers can literally lie and you're out of money even though you have proof
