Everything seemed to be going fine. I was able to order and pay for my product successfully. I was then sent an email to confirm my order. It was shipped to me within a reasonable amount of time, considering the Pandemic. No problem at all, until I had posted the RETURN of the strappy sandals from Sabo Skirt requesting a refund.

As per their refund policy, the item was returned in its original condition (unworn) and with the original shoe box, tissue paper, shoe bag - the way it was sent to me, was the way I had returned the shoes to Sabo Skirt. The item was placed in a delivery bag with the shipping label on the bag. It also costed me $50 Canadian to have them sent back! If you decide to return an item, ensure the shipping label is not on the shoe box!

Weeks later I get an email from Sabo Skirt saying the refund could not be given due to the fact "the return shipping label was placed on the shoe box" and Sabo can longer "re-use this". Excuse me? What? Does that make sense!? This simply is not true. I saw with my own eyes the way the item was packaged at the post office. The shipping label was not placed on the shoe box, but on the delivery bag.

It seems the shoe was fine and not damaged, but they could not re-use the shoe box. Therefore, I was denied a refund. Yet, I was offered a store credit!

Unfortunately I did not take pictures to prove the shipping label was not on the shoe box. I would strongly advise you to take pictures before you post your item for delivery.

My experience with Sabo Skirt went from great and being excited with the item to feeling scammed and disappointed for the fact I was denied a refund under a false reason on their part, and then offered a store credit to compensate. If I wanted a store credit, I would have asked for one.

For those of you reading my post, if you decide to do a return, I would suggest you take photos to prove the condition of the item/s for shipping and return.

10 out of 10. Can not wait to shop with you for future events.

I've ordered from Sabo Skirt before and loved the products and the service I received when trying to track my package. However, this time the products were just not what I expected. This won't prevent me from shopping again in the future.
