I used to respect this company until now. I ordered stuff in the past with standard shipping and everything went just fine. However, recently, I made an order over 100 dollars and ROMWE offered FREE express shipping so I took it. Worst decision of my life. Shortly after I made the order, I got an email after it has been shipped.
First of all, it was from DHL. It said that the expected date for arrival was May 17th, which was EXCUSE ME? EVEN SLOWER THAN STANDARD SHIPPING. (May 15th)
Second of all, not only that, I had to pay a 26 dollar duty tax! This was a hidden fee that popped up last second and it enraged me. I might as well have PAID for express shipping instead of getting it free! And for what? The arrival date to be even later than normal shipping?
ROMWE, please don't come telling me that you already warned us beforehand with the tiny red font at the checkout page that says "MAY have to pay customs," because that's the most inconspicuous way that you could've put it EVER, especially BAITING us with the free express shipping. I couldn't even cancel my order after getting the email because it was already SHIPPED by then.
After reaching out to customer service with their reply interval of one message every 13 hours, I had no choice but to pay the fee before getting any help because time was TICKING and I was receiving emails from DHL threatening me to pay or they would DESTROY my order.
After 2 days I did end up getting refunded HALF the fees after bargaining with them, but seriously? ROMWE, MAKE IT MORE BLATANT AND STRAIGHT FORWARD THAT IF YOU LIVE IN CANADA, YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY A HIGH FEE LAST SECOND. Make it an actual NOTICE, the font BIG, and warn people PROPERLY before random hidden fees and taxes are going to charge them for your apparently "FREE" express shipping.
I am highly disappointed with this company that they wouldn't even give me a full refund after SUPER BELATED "EXPRESS" SHIPPING, and an overpriced hidden fee that they try to just ignore because apparently they put a wishy washy "disclaimer" in font size 3 at the check out page. I basically threw away 26 dollars for nothing.
Do NOT order express shipping if you live in Canada.
PLEASE, take my word for it and do not order from this site unless you are okay with wearing cheap, torn clothing!

My Granddaughter ordered 7 things from this site for Christmas (2 years ago), only 4 showed up and none of them were the correct items and were also not even the same color as what she ordered!
She says looks like cheap knock off, not as picture showed at all.
We were charged for all items.

All makes since now, you don't put receipt in the bag so that the customer has no record of purchase, or the order number, and you get to remove all the negative reviews. Genius! LOL
I don't have order number because you sent us nothing! Items weren't even wrapped in tissue.
SOME Items did FINALLY arrive (2 did not), but 1 shirt was ripped, they were wrong sizes (EXTREMELY Small!) and they were Bootleg knock offs, also received the wrong colors, and items were not what was in the photos online at all!
Example: 1 item was to be a leather jacket
What arrived?
An Ugly, brown polyester coat that stops just under her breasts.
The ripped shirt was torn right across front so is useless and can't be sewn.
She did like 1 shirt but it was red and was to be black (red wasn't even an option in this style)
BTW. Teenager doesn't think to write anything down when ordering online...

Romwe is yet again another Asian based cheap online clothing outlet. As with all such stores, you have to have reasonable expectations as to the quality of the clothing, your responsibility as customer and shipping delays. A 5$ shirt will never compete with an 150$ from Calvin Klein, quite obviously, but that 5$ shirt can supply you with fun, of-the-moment trends without breaking your piggie bank. The quality varies greatly from item to item (some have a pleasantly good fabric, others not so much) and each piece is a bit of a gamble on that, but even your worst scenario is about a forever 21-cheap-type of cut and fabric. READ THE SIZING AND DESCRIPTION: I cannot stress this enough... not all "size small" are the same on the web site and small doesn't necessarily mean an american size small. Also, questions about lining, length and stretch level is noted in the description box, so use it! Take in account that as with any given online sizing, a various of 2-3 cm can occur on items. Many of the "one-size" are equivalent to a small and generally, the clothing runs a bit small: all sizes are usually available (large, medium, small), you can be surprised with a extra-large from time to time. Shipping is quite standard, having a 3-5 business day "preparation" pre-shipping, and then usual international shipping time (up to 10 business day in North America). While Romwe rejects responsibility for custom fees should they happen, they are open to compensation if you care to contact them about it: my guess is that they will offer reduction coupons for your next purchase. Free shipping is given for standard shipping on purchases above 50 USD and free express shipping for purchases 100-120 USD and more. Express shipping usually creates customs fees (at least in Canada) as the customs retains and verifies the package for some reason, I would suggest you still select standard shipping regardless of your options.
Now for the good part: their t-shirt/sweatshirt/bathing suits selection is fantastic, very original and unique. Their shirts and sweater is worthy of any large brand such as H&M, zara, american eagle, and you can even spot sometimes the exact same items for a 1/3 of the price (I once purchase on romwe a white shirt with leopard pocket detail and it came in WITH the zara tag on it). Trickier clothing such as pants, skirts and dresses are also good but more of a gamble as sometime the crotch stitching is not the best and the stretch of the fabric isn't either: be careful with the hip width, as the waist/hip/thigh width ratio is surprisingly narrow (waist and hips are almost the same size which rarely is the case on female bodies...). The bags/purses are great and quality is quite good in that department.
Overall, great source of fun, trendy items that you don't expect to last long so you don't want to pay a fortune for it. I have purchased about 30 items so far in different hauls and 3 pieces turned out to be bad, a horrid pair of jeans with stitching all over the place (I recycled them in distressed high-waisted shorts), an off the shoulder dress that was shapeless and a way too large bikini. Read carefully descriptions that are given and do not rely on the commentaries left by other buyers (especially on the Romwe App) as everyone complains sizing is too small... JUST READ PEOPLE! Their customer service in my experience has been very helpful and quick in their response, however they are not native English speakers so be precise and clear in your requests. As with many online stores, make your first purchase one with fool-proof pieces to test out the brand, such as t-shirts, accessories, loose fitting shirts and so on. Tops are usually easier to get away with and don't require a perfect fit. And remember, if it's too good to be true, it's because it is: that perfect pleated structured midi skirt for 8$ will look like a paper thin, dollar-store "Chinese" lantern accordeon. Also, if unsure of your items, leave them in your cart for a few days: romwe will send you a 60% off coupon in the following 4 days to incite you to make your purchase (bonus trick). You can also look up youtubers on "romwe hauls" to get an idea of IRL items to decide whether or not this is something for you!

I've spent almost $500 worth of purchases on Romwe over several orders (of course not in one go), and I'll continue to buy from Romwe for the following reasons.
1. Trustworthy. Unlike the site I used to buy from (YesStyle), you can be reassured that the products sold on Romwe are completely genuine and true to the images and descriptions. I've purchased more than 20 products and all of them have been authentic. Aside from a few colour expectations not being met due to a slight change in the colour of the image presented on the site, however they warn us about the possibility of colours being a bit off. But he products overall is not a scam.
2. Benefits. Depending on how much you spend on an order, Romwe is always offering discounts but this only applies to orders above a certain amount (AUD $82). It also allows you to have free standard and free express is you spend over a minimum amount, which is great because some sites don't even offer free express at all regardless of a minimum spend.
3. Prices. Products are so inexpensive for great quality. I mostly buy shirts on there and they have a wide selection. Most of them are under AUD $10-15. So although the minimum spend for a discount/free standard or express shipping isn't exactly classified as cheap, you'll find yourself purchase a lot of items for a great price. I spend roughly AUD $140 to $180 and have about 7-9 items per order.
4. Customer Service. Their customer service is absolutely amazing. When you send in a ticket they will get to you within 24 hours as promised. You'll always get a swift and professional response to any of your enquiries or issues with orders.
5. Order Handling. You're given so many options to handle your order. There have been times when I needed to cancel my order, and they easily handle it buy cancelling your order and returning your money back into your Romwe wallet. From there you have the option to withdraw your Romwe funds back into your bank account, or just keep it there to use for your next purchase.
6. Shipping. I've actually never experienced a problem with shipping, because I'm either always qualified for express shipping or I pay about AUD $19 I think it was(?) for express which I don't mind doing. Since I'm in Australia, my orders come in about a week (cosidering business days only) or a bit longer but never more than 2 weeks. This may take longer if you're in the US like most people who've left a review about ROMWE.
7. Priority Products. The site actually shows you what items are currently stocked at their warehouse (it'll say "priority dispatching" and have a small truck icon with an "L" inside it next to the product name) and don't need to be attained externally which will usually add and extra 2-3 days to your order waiting time. Whenever I go on the site to make another order, I make sure to add to my cart only products that are "priority dispatching" only so my order can be shipped out asap. If a product I like isn't prioroty dispatching I just save it to my wishlist until it does. Note: priority dispatching is different to being "in stock", if a product is out of stock it'll state that it is and you won't be able to add the product to your cart.
8. Variety. The site has a whole section dedicated to what items are added to the site daily. You can even browse by date which is great. They always have something new to add to the site.
And that's basically it. Overall, one happy customer and I will always be loyal to the site. I kind of wish they had membership benefits like YesStyle where gold members have a certain amount off all products on their site. But since Romwe already has such cheap clothes, it's not really that big of an issue.
I've ordered over 10 times off Romwe all over $150 and here's a very honest review. Great site for dresses, that's about it. Even ordering dresses i usually have to use pins somewhere on the dress because the fit is weird. Pants don't even try, its ridiculous how they size them. Shirts the sleeves aren't made for humans and are always see-through and the material used feels like paper.
I've written a review before to say as long as you use their measurements you will be fine, this is completely wrong now as i can order a medium in every single thing i buy and half of the items will be a fit for someone weighing over 200lbs and over 6 feet tall, other items will come and be small enough to fit on a kids doll, not a human.
The most recent order i posted reviews for the items that came and were completely not the size they claim, as you can see if you go through the reviews they post on the website, the only answer they give is "did you check the measurements, we craft the clothing to those sizes" so i posted the items with a measuring tape around them and BIG SURPRISE, they didn't approve the reviews.
So instead i attached the reviews here and I hope this is enough for you to order off another site. If you choose this site you'll be disappointed with the amount of time it takes to receive your order, the length of all the arms for any shirt or dress will be way too short, and the quality is see through 90% of the time, and the sizing will be wrong 100% of the time.
Now if you order a large enough order you get free express shipping (yay! - just kidding) they will separate your order into several orders to ship it and only send 1 order as express whether you pay to have them all express or not, only one is sent as express and the others you will wait over a month to receive.
Dealing with returns is a whole other boat load of issues, remember i haven't ordered just once off this site so I've gone through it enough times to tell you it doesn't get better and its a waste of your time and money.
ALSO bathing suits, don't even waste your time, last year i ordered them (to my size and measurements) but they came in and were made with over 3/4 of the measurements into the cup size on the top which made the whole bathing-suit just completely wrong - Should have fit me sitting at a B cup, instead the top had a top for size F, the cups wrapped all the way around to the back, the other one i received last year was the exact same measurements and i wasn't even able to get it on my body. I was told that the measurements are posted online and its my problem if it doesn't fit.
This site is the same as Shein, half the stuff you order comes with Shien labels. So don't use Shein either.
Also heads up, any good review, they actually email you saying they will give you free credits and things if you give them a good review on this site, so don't think the good reviews are legitimate, people are getting paid to post them.
Choose a different site.
I ordered 11 items early-mid April. I'd gotten a new job that required black colored clothing so I figured it was a good chance to get a few black colored items and a pink sweater I'd been wanting for several months. I didn't want to buy the sweater alone because I live in Canada and shipping is not worth it. (11.99 for sweater + 9.99 for shipping)
I had enough items to get free express shipping so I expected it to arrive in a week. However, a couple weeks later, only 10 of my 11 items were ready to ship. Everything I picked was listed as in stock and/or priority dispatching so it didn't make any sense to me. Finally on May 8th, I got an email saying everything was processed and shipped except the one shirt. "We are writing to inform you that your order will be shipped in separate packages, as some of the item(s) are in popular demand and will take a while to arrive."
I received my package on May 12th and, sadly, my pink sweater was not inside. I opened a ticket with Romwe and while they were kinda nice, it didn't feel like they read or cared about what I was asking for.

What? Save my time? Why on earth would it be faster for me to submit a new order completely?
In the end, I just accepted the refund because I felt like they were going to continue giving me BS reasons on why the refund will be better for me and I don't have time for that. I'm guessing they were trying to save on shipping.
Even though the other items I received were good (other than missing buttons on one shirt that I opened another ticket for), I will never, ever order from Romwe again.
I give 1 start because I cannot give less than that.
They send me the clothes damaged, very bad quality and badly sewn, completely different to what the pictures show. I told them that I would like to return my items for all the stated reason. They accepted me to return the items. Now the problems are as follow;
- I asked for full refund as it is not my fault that they sent to me clothes that were damaged, so I shouldn't be losing money with this transaction, not even the money for the post.
- To return the items, they sent me a pre-paid return label, and they told me that with that I would be given a receipt with a tracking number that I should send to them afterwards. My first surprise when I first went to the Royal Mail (as suggested by ROMWE) is that they warned me that for the type of return label ROMWE provided me, they wouldn´t be able to give me a tracking number as ROMWE told me they would do. In the Royal Mail advised me to go to the Post Office and try there. Therefore, I went to the Post Office. Again there, they told me that the label provided by ROMWE was free of charge so that they wouldn´t be able to provide me with a tracking number. I asked them how much would that cost me to have the package tracked, and in the Post Office they told me that that would be extra £10! Moreover, they showed me how a return label that would enable tracking should look like, the one they show me was from ASOS, and it was clearly different that the one provided by ROMWE.
With this I had to risk and return the package without tracking and now I am concern that they won't give me back my money. So please, I would like to report that ROMWE are completely SCAM, they send products that are not as described/damaged and customer service is awful and wouldn't even give me the option to claim my money even though they did something wrong.
