We have ordered from Rocky Mountain ATV hundreeds of tims, spent over $50,000.00 with them. The customer service has been geting worse and worse, in fact there is none. Once in a while you get a superviser that understands and tries to make it right. I wish Dan Thomas the owner of the company would read these reveiws and fix the issues, shipping is bad, 1 out of 3 shipment make it with no issues. I waste my time talking to custermer service reps, they lie to you! I deal with several companies to order parts spend over $100,000 a year and by far the worst customer service is from Rocky Mountain ATV. Please Dan Thomas if you read this call me and I will let you know whats going on if you care. I hope you are not aware of these issues they have been going on now for years.
I placed an order for several items, one of which has been out of stock recently and not available through other distributors. I received and email advising me that RM needed additional info. I called and the rep explained that since my order was over $1000 ( $1001. 67) I had to process the order through PayPal or do a Wire Transfer? I asked them to remove an item to drop the invoice amount so the order could be processed with my card but they refused. A supervisor gave me a different story explaining that RM randomly selects orders and forces those orders to be processed via PayPal or Wire Transfer? I'm a retailer myself and I've never heard of anything like that. The same supervisor also told me that since it was my first time ordering I would have to place the order via PayPal or Wire Transfer regardless of the amount.
This was a domestic order, not international and there was not an issue with the debit card I was using for the transaction.
I cancelled my order and created a new account with another email. This time I only ordered the item I urgently needed but the same thing happened again and Customer service gave me the same BS song and dance about "randomly" selecting orders for special scrutiny.
I have 37 retail stores & I can't imagine using a distributor who makes it so difficult to process a simple order. Now that I've seen these other reviews its clear I'm not alone with the bad experience
I love RMATV! Great easy to use site, awesome deals, and always have everything we need. I don't usually shop anywhere else for our moto stuff.
I bought my highland reckless about a year ago. When wanted to use it I noticed it was smaller than the description, more like the smallest version of the highland which cost half. On the description it should be 25 liters on each side but it is no more than 15 liters. It was very hard to communicate with customer service since each time I had to explain what the problem is and again and again, they said they will check. I wrote emails and each time I waited between 4-7 days for an answer and sometimes it even took 3 weeks for them to answer. They asked me to take pictures with tape measurements on the bag. I sent them (I attached them here for you to see...) They told me 25 liters is when the roll-up is open... come on... you are joking, you can't ride while open... They promised they will send their pictures with tape measurements but then they suddenly said they can't do it for some reason (I believe we understand why). I don't leave in the USA so it was too complicated to send and get a refund. But for future clients. All will be good until there is a problem. No customer service and no honest behavior!

Used these guys for all my parts until this season, customer service is GARBAGE rude don't care. Also had $30 in race credits and went too use and they said oh sorry they expired and there is nothing we can do. I have had issues with shipping being late and not what i paid for and been told "rhay's the way it is sorry we can't issue credits" paid for 2 day air not 6 day air. Seems like rm atv has gotten to big for their customers and only care about taken your money no service after the sale. From all these bad reviews it shows. I will return to motosport.com... UPDATE AS OF 1/9/20. Still no contact from managment about this like they stated in their responds just like i said THEY DON'T CARE about their little customers just corp. Ones... UPDATE AS OF 4/18/20. Proof that the customer does not matter as per THEIR responds that they "forward my comments to upper management" as of TODAY i still have never been reached out to about this matter and folks is why i have been spending my hard earned money else where. They give every review the same bs blanket form letter responds
Clearly the new generation of customer service has arrived. In stock, prompt shipping with early arrival is the norm. Just say yes.
After 4 contacts and speaking to a manager I have been told that they can not tell me when I will recieve the product or get a refund.

Really if RM don't have it you don't need it. I was hesitant with using any TUSK parts but after watching the RM YouTube certified technician I am ready to tackle all repairs.

If I could give zero stars, I would. After doing research into places to order from, I chose RM because of their youtube videos - what a mistake.
I ordered a pair of boots and a helmet. The next day, I receive an email stating they are holding my order and I have to call in before they will process it. No big deal. I called as soon as they opened. The gentleman I spoke with asked me to confirm details of my order: what I ordered and credit card and shipping details. I provided everything to him, and he said everything matched up, but put me on a brief hold. He returned, claiming that, because it was my first order and a "large order" (~$1100), they wouldn't accept credit card payment and that I would have to use PayPal or directly wire them money, to "protect us both."
My credit card company had already processed, approved, and posted the charge to my account. The billing and shipping details for the order matched my credit card perfectly. Yet for some unknown reason, RM refused to ship, despite the fact that my credit card company approved the charge.
$1100, especially in the world of dirt bikes and motorcycles is hardly a "large order." I refuse to use Paypal due to their terms of service and difficult customer service. Wiring money leaves me completely exposed, as I lose the protections a credit card provides. There was no reason to deny my order. When they refused to process my order, despite admitting every detail checked out, I asked for a refund, which they said they would do "immediately." It took over a week for them to return my money.
The story, however, does have a happy ending: I purchased the same gear from RevZilla (first order there, too) for the same price with the same credit card and shipping details, it was processed and shipped without incident, and arrived within three days. 5 stars for RevZilla and zero stars for Rocky Mountain. I'll continue to watch RM's free Youtube videos, but they'll never get a penny from me after their horrible customer service.
