Buy from Amazon before you buy from this company. They carry a lot of the same items. Terrible return policy. Slow processing and delivery. I placed my order on November 5. I just received notice that it was shipped 7 days later. Now I have an 8-12 period wait for the shipping. I've given 2 stars because I accept some of the blame for not researching this company.
This is a scam Chinese company that takes forever to ship to you, sends emails that barely make sense and the products are very poor quality. Return process is ridiculous and you generally are only going to get more poor quality clothing vs money back. Spend a few more bucks and go somewhere like ModCloth or Unique Vintage.

Takes days to respond, they basically told me since the items do not have a plastic sleeve they will throw it away and I will not be refunded. I'm attempting to send the shoes as I did not even open them. I'm very disappointed with this company. I'll keep you posted but I am doubtful about the whole thing. The material is not made well it's cheap and fits weird, not true to size the shoes were cheap and gaudy. I Amy just try and sell everything for orignal cost probably have better luck by the sounds of the reviews.

I have to admit, I was worried purchasing from this shop. I didn't know what to expect or if it would be in my size. I got the first part of my order today and the swimsuit was AMAZING! It fit so well! It's made out of the same materials as swimsuits I had when I was a life guard! This swim suit looks sooooo good and makes me feel so feminine (even though I am plus size). I cannot wait to get the next one. I also am interested in Retro Stage expanding their plus sizes. If the quality keeps up, they have found a new satisfied customer.

I ordered a swimsuit on May 30, it has currently been 46 days and it still hasn't arrived. I paid for expedited shipping (which advertised a 12-20 day shipping period). Emailing customer service has been no help, they just send you your tracking number and ask you to "wait just a little longer." I recommend you call them directly, else you'll get nowhere.
This was my first experience with this company and I will never order another item from them again. This has been nothing more than a waste of time and money.

I would not buy from them again. I ordered an item in mid November, two months later it has still not shopped or arrived. Customer service continues to respond to my emails with, "it will ship in the next couple of days", obviously not. I will never shop here again.
Look at all of the reviews! The good ones are over 4 years old. From that point on they are all poor reviews.
I have 2 dresses from retro stage. Both are super comfortable and super gland I love the way the long fringe moves as I walk and dance. When I wore it to a wedding everyone said I looked great and the were all surprised that it was so cheap and bought online. My favourite retrostage dress is black, floor length and covered in sequins. It's dramatic, eye catching and stunning to wear. Perfect affordable dresses for anyone that wants to stand out.
I wish I read the reviews before ordering. My items took forever to come. I called to cancel the order, and they made me wait until I received them to return them. I ordered 4 items (dress, accessories, nylons, and shoes) all together, yet they shipped them separately. I had to pay for return shipping. It took them approximately a month to refund me! The contact phone number shown is not real. It sounded like some one of Indian decent or someone foreign would answer, and I called several times. Same voice and accent each time. When I emailed, the response was such a lapse in time. I'd email during normal hours, the responses were at 3 a.m. Don't waste your time.

I ordered multiple items from this company that took weeks to process. When they finally shipped, they were stuck leaving China for weeks and arrived after the date of the event I needed them. I tried shipping back and getting a refund but the customer service was a joke and I got multiple auto/robot responses saying sorry there's nothing they can do, even though it was within the return window.
I went on Amazon and ordered the exact same items and they were on my door in two days. Highly recommend that over this company! Don't waste your time or money.
Usually when ordering clothes online, I anxiously wait on pins and needles wondering if what I get remotely resembles what I ordered. I have never had to worry about that with Retro Stage! Every single outfit and pair of shoes I've ordered have fit according to their size charts, and look EXACTLY how advertised. I love that their plus size collection is just as vast and trendy as their regular lines. I would recommend them to anyone looking for vintage clothing. And their products last through multiple washes and every day wear. 5 out of 5 stars!

I ordered a cape and it is Perfect! I have now placed another order for shoes, and can't wait till they get here. People like me who love bling, this site is awesome! The shipping was great, and arrived when they said it would. This will definitely be my "goTo" store for vintage clothing! My dress I am wearing with it, is still being made, so I can not show a photo of the finished product.
I purchased 2 dresses from this company. One of them was cute for an inexpensive little dress. The other was atrocious. I returned one and made an inquiry about my refund several days after UPS showed delivered. I continued to inquire every few days until weeks passed and it was obvious I was not going to get a reply. They never refunded my money, nor did they respond to my email. My advice is to AVOID them unless you are certain you will like what you buy!

I ordered the Vintage Solid Off Shoulder Long Dress in Wine Red. I ordered a size large and I'm a US size 10/12. It fits perfectly with no room to spare so if you would like more room order a size up. The dress is very well made not thin and looks just like advertised on the website. The shipping took 3 weeks which was expected and was exactly what I needed.
I will be attending a fancy event in a few weeks and ordered a red sequin dress with RS. It looked amazing in the pictures but this is the first time I've ordered a fancy dress online so I wasn't sure what the quality would be like. I was pleasantly surprised!
The dress fit really well and I didn't need to make any alterations. Great value for money as well - similar dresses are four times the price in other shops.
I accidentally ordered two of the same dress so will unfortunately need to send one of them back but now that I've ordered with Retro Stage, I'll be happy to order again!
I ordered a 1920's style dress for my wedding. Since it was only around $40 I was skeptical about what i would receive. It came today and my friends and I were stunned. A perfect fit ( I used the chart provided) and a gorgeous deep color. The details on it are lovely. As a seamstress myself, it's well made. I can move and bend in the material used, which means a lot in a mermaid style! They communicated well through the purchase process. The shipping was exactly as advertised.
Overall, I was happily surprised. Some internet purchases are a joke, this company is the real thing! My wedding party will be shopping through them.

Stay away from this company. After you purchase a item for the amount on there website. They take a additional "fee" from your account without authorization. Luckily mines was only a couple bucks, however no one has reached out to me after I have emailed. And I don't understand what the "fee" is for.

Be warned that the sizing is not accurate and the fabric has zero give in it. Buy a size up from your true size. I am so disappointed that I followed the measurement chart perfectly, and it was still way too small! I don't mean by a little bit either - I could not even zip it up at the top and I KNOW I ordered a Large 36.6" bust for my 35" inch bust. It took so long to get here that I can't exchange it in time for my event, and then started reading the returns policy which is a joke. I will not be ordering from here again.

Answer: XL is a Uk size 14 you have to look at the measurements not the Uk and Us sizes as they are a bit out. The sizing chart is at the bottom of the page of the required item go by the cm, s or inches

I ordered 2PCS White Blouse Top & Suspender Pants - White / XL / 10~12 and the size was smaller than a 10, about an 8, but you couldnt wear the pants anyway, so doesnt matter. They list XL as 10-12 but i would still size down and with how the pieces vary greatly, that might still be false.
