I contacted customer service today about a new sim card and was told 7 to 10 BUSINESS days to get it but my old sim will be shut off. Talked to 3 people and noone could help me. So now i am without a phone during this time of covid-19 for two weeks. They wont even help me get it faster. Worst customer service during this crisis. I thought were all it this together why do i feel so alone. This is suppose to make America great again, i dont think so. Such a sad day to be an American with an Government issued phone.

Crappy phones. Don't mess with these people. A free phone they send you will stop working within 2 months. Then they want $25 to replace the damn thing. You're better off with a TracFone they do have smartphones now.

Their website stated my own phone would be compatible - it was not. Waited 45 minutes on phone with customer service, got disconnected, and they did not call back. Called the next day, and no help from that call too after a 30 minute wait for a customer service rep. Foreign customer service reps, hard to understand, talk soft and fast. Qlink also takes forever to mail you a different phone.

Just say NO!

This phone and service are junk. Internal memory is full and I have not downloaded anything. Amazingly enough though it can download updates for ads! You cannot do anything (make a call or send a text) without ads popping up every 2 seconds. Nevermind getting to the home screen. That is a minimum of 4 ads to close. Not to mention your free 1GB of memory is eaten up every month by ads. Yep those ads popping up eat up the data. Yet even after my data runs out they still keep coming. Go figure. I would not even want to try using this phone in an emergency.

Below are 2 of the screens you have to go through to get to the home screen. After that it either pops up blurry with an x or as the 3rd picture shows it opens the ad you are trying to close.

If you're into frustration and have the patience of Job go ahead otherwise go with another phone company.

I had qlink and i was in the lifelock program with unlimited talk text and data. They shut off my data and when I finally talked to someone after a week of holding and being hung up on and no help what so ever I was told that unlimited has limits! That makes no sense how can unlimited have limits!?!? This company is fraud and should be sued for false advertising

I'm loosing my data for the fifth time in 5 months. I log into the phone company everyday or at least once a week. Still the same end result, is it truly unlimited data since my Tubi movies are buffering for long periods at a time. I just had this same problem last month with this company.

I got this free service about 3 months ago absolutely horrific. I haven't been able to use my supposedly free unlimited data for two months now. They haven't returned my calls and my account says free unlimited data and minutes. Tell my why I can't make any calls at this current moment. I wouldn't recommend this service to no one. Liars and scam artist, taking information and not receiving proper care for its customers. I logged into my account and it's saying free everything, that's a absolute lie. Skip over this service by any means.

Better service

Better than C. C. ~ the $24.mo bill jumped to $62.mo; signal strength, CS and data (unlimited) became frustrating. Qlink's service, Hot Pepper phone and reliability have been awesome. I qualified for service based on restricted income and truly appreciate that such a program exists. P.S. The tablet is a nice extra for $10. The one I received has been temperamental and sluggish from day one. Okay for games!

Terrible company

I have been dealing with qlink for months now. Recently they decided to send my number to straight talk without my permission. After 2 weeks of dealing with that I finally get the phone switched back to qlink. Have the ability to make calls and texts but cant use my data. Their call center is based outside the us and the employees I have talked to either cant understand what I'm saying or they are just straight up rude and uneducated in their program and make it extremely clear. Made me pay $35 to get it activated and it still wont work.

Don't be fooled

Ad said free phone. Got a tablet for $10.10 but didn't want it so returned it, but never received my money back. Dropped phone calls on their 'T-Mobile' network. Customer service agents were unhelpfull and even indifferent to my complaints. Have gone to tracfone and the Verizon network. Much better.

Lousy customer service..

The back will not come off phone to insert SIM card and battery. Customer service basically nonexistent. Just hung up again on me. I have spoken to multiple employees of Qlink with varying answers. Company refuses to refund my $19.99 initial fee and refuses to send new phone or prepaid label to return one that will not open.
Evidently Qlink exists only to provide someone with way to make money... not provide a service to those truly in need of phone. Dont use Qlink..

It doesn't work

I applied, got a SIM card in the mail and installed it. I followed the directions to the letter and it did not work. Not only did it not work, but it made my phone completely inoperable. Be careful if you're using your own phone. Fortunately I was able to remove Q link's SIM card and do a factory reset. I found an app that allows me to at least have wifi phone service. That's better than nothing... and that's what Q links service is. Nothing. Zip. Nada. No customer service either.

Ability to make or receive calls stopped after 6 mos! Tried to reach CS with emails and calls. Was advised I would receive a call back but they never returned my call. It's been 5 months...still NO SERVICE! All they've done is send advertise emails about their great products and service. Repeatedly asked me to apply! I'm still paying for the phone that does not work! Don't bother! After they get your money, they treat you like crap! FRAUD ALERT! NOT AS ADVERTISED! STAY FAR AWAY!

This service has been surprisingly simple to partake in and manage, everything has been incredibly smooth and easy on my part, the only "negative" so far was waiting on the SIM card in the mail and reassuring myself on legitimacy due to the easy sign up and fast transfer with my own phone. Absolutely recommend for anyone eligible and needing a little help.

"Free internet" blocks user availability to other devices, such as using a router for laptop, tablets, TV, etc.
So called "free internet" requres that another provider must be paid for to provide household internet accesibility.

Recently, an email was received linking to supposed QLink apps for mobile devices. The link resulted in a "site not found" message. Further searching at QLink's main site produced nothing in the way of mobile apps. Nothing lost, nothing gained, except for dashed expectations and a waste of time.
Overall, I am QUITE PLEASED with QLink's service and reliability, so this kind of misunderstanding and misinformation takes a perfect 5* rating to a 4.

All though I didn't get a phone but they do have a variety of phone's to choose from that are priced variety reasonable to afford and they have a payment plan if you qualify for the payment plan other than that I love my q link wireless service and I suggest my friends and family checking in to it as well. Do not trust these people

They not only stole from me.But they lie every month saying I ran out of unlimited minutes and that I have to wait for two weeks just to be able to use my phone again...these people have made me miss Christmas because I was in the hospital and was not able to contact with my family...I have had a death in my family and didn't know...I have missed my doctor's appointment all because of this horrible service and more so horrible staff

They advertise "now", "today", and "instantly qualify" but after you sign up they ask for patience to mail your phone and say to contact them if you don't have your phone in 30 days.
The CSR I spoke to Jessica was great.

Their automated recording for purchasing minutes or data is misleading and not truthful. Their customer service is deplorable. They try to make you pay for minutes that are supposed to be given to you through government funding. Their lines that are given for calling are full of static and the calls break up.The company is unscrupulous and should be put out of business. They cancel customers if they complain. They do this without warning. Completely unethical.If I could give zero stars I would for their rating.
