Moved in during a sale. Needed two small units. 1 month after the sale...They regretted to inform me that they had to raise the monthly rent. Total increase was $35.00/month
I moved out of both units on the 1st of the month. Horrible timing, I know, but I did ask for at least a small discount due to the full month being available to them to get them rented again.
No flexibility. No care nor empathy.
The best part was the phone call after I moved out. "Hey, wanted to let you know someone just cleaned you out of both your units"
Just be aware of what you're getting into. I had never used a storage facility before.
Storage #*******, I run a landscape company and recently added another parking spot and can't be pleased enough with Tara. We have 5 parking spots and 2 units and she has been a huge help every step of the way, she always has a big smile on her face and willing to help. If you have any questions about a unit please ask for Tara, you don't be disappointed!
I have to say coming here in the situation my husband and i were in gave us such piece of mind and we were treated by the staff with respect and excellent customer service. Denise is the one that keeps us here she did not judge nor did she make us feel uncomfortable. She actually gave me hope. Who does that now days. I come here sometimes to my unit to feel safe and i dont get harrassed for sitting in my car. Thank you denise you should be proud of your customer relation skills...

I went with my son to rent a storage unit. Jo was very friendly and unbelievably accommodating. The unit he was ready to rent had had a history of leaking, so Jo rented him a unit with a good history instead at the same price. She also went the day before he brought his items for storage and swept out the unit. She stayed past closing time to make sure everything was just the way we wanted it. It did my mother's heart good to see her take care of him as if he were her own! Thank you, Jo! A big shout out for excellent service!
I have done business not only with Public Storage but many other companies in the area. There has been no one as helpful and upbeat as Laura Jo at any of those places. I would say excellent service all of the time. She is an asset as your representative and one of the only reasons I continue to store with you.
I have had a great experience with a gentlemen named Ryan out of the bridgewater, nj storage.the quality of his customer service was outstanding.and absolute professional with expertise knowledge of all aspects of the units. I was in need of a small, climate controlled space in the West Palm Beach area for temporary storage.
I met two astonishing people, Donna and Denise, at Public Storage who made me feel like I was a guest in a 5 Star Hotel.
They went out of their way to show me all of the options and got me an amazing deal.
It's not often that you receive this kind of service anywhere, and totally unexpected at a storage rental facility.

When I agreed to sign the rental agreement, I was told by the Public Storage rental agent, and it was stated on the advertisement, that my rate was "locked in". I received a notice 4 months later that my storage unit rent would go up $27 more per month. Read your agreements! My mistake for not doing so.
I've rented a unit through Public Storage for a number of years now, and while the unit has stayed the same, the price has increased on a regular basis - with no incentive or sense of loyalty for a long-term customer. Storage space is storage space, but when it comes to customer satisfaction, the overall experience makes a difference. Inquiries to management get the usual boilerplate response about "competitive pricing," etc., but a quick Google search of the area reveals otherwise.
Recently I stopped at a Public Storage in Hanover, NJ for information. The property Manager there was extremely helpful, pleasant, and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. Good employees sometimes are hard to find. Public storage is very lucky to have this Manager. The store and property also were clean and well kept.
Greeted with a smile, shown around like a royale, paperless transactions, and left feeling like family. I would recommend this place to all that read this review. Not only a bright light from a dark tunnel, but the way you are greeted is bright. Well done Ivan and Jay.
When we first moved to Washington there was limited storage units available in the area. All except one was available at the preferred location. When I called I spoke with Dee, who was most informative, kind, and saved us the last spot until we got there. Once we arrived she helped set us up with everything we needed and it didn't take long at all. Great customer satisfaction guaranteed
I was in the process of trying to select a rental unit for a couple of months or so. I went to Public Storage, Store #*******, and met Mary. She was so helpful and accommodating, provided me with all the rules and regulations of renting with Public Storage, made suggestions about what size boxes/bubble wrap/tape to use. We discovered that her location did not have the size unit I needed, so she very courteously made a call to another Public Storage unit within the area and located one that had the size unit I needed. Fantastic customer service. As a former HR director, if I needed a person who would represent my business well, it was Mary. She greeted me with a smile, said "how can I help you today?" and help me she did. If ever you are considering people for a management position I would strongly consider her. Great skills!
They will Jack your rent up without any notice. And if you're one day late the late vehicle can be upwards of $50. If you leave a bad review and complain they will call you and tell you it's an algorithm that automatically jacks your rent up without warning. Then, a few months later it will happen again. Just don't waste your time with the stress and find another storage place.
I must say the two trashy girls you have working there are very unprofessional and make their position they hold with the company a joke to them. Both were rude and disrespectful and no way should ever speak to customers the way they do. I have been a customer for years and I feel that the two of them need to get gain some knowledge in customer service. I would hope to see something done about them. Thank you
I'm a happy returning customer from years ago. It's a pleasure to see that Ms. Tammy is still here with her warm welcoming spirit. Her customer service is one of the best that I've encountered in years. She is definitely one of the reasons I returned, plus the climate control units at are available. Ms. Tammy was very helpful with my check in process and gave me all the information I needed. She definitely deserves a raise!
