1.50CT round cut diamonds diamond earrings / Platinum / G-H / VS1-VS2
August 15, 2015

I ordered a pair of earrings July 12,2015 and received them July 29,2015 and that only because I contacted PrimeStyle multiple times asking what happened to my order.

I was excited about my earrings when they arrived, but when I took a closer look at the fabrication and quality of the earrings I couldn't believe what I saw.
The fabrication and quality of the earrings was very bad.

I contacted PrimeSyle the day I received the earrings and asked for an RMA #.
The person I talked to told me that the department who handles returns is closed and they
Will be in shortly and that I should call back. After telling him that it is 9:35 a.m. on a Wednesday morning it is simply impossible that there is nobody there that would be able to help me with the RMA #. He then transfered me over to another person which then told me that she will send me an email with the RMA #.

Return Reason: 1.50CT round cut diamonds diamond earrings / Platinum / G-H / VS1-VS2

Earrings won't close properly (loose).
The frame of the earrings is not round. It's uneven and visible by the naked eye.
The prong settings is uneven and just horrible.
The diamonds have a yellowish color to them which they shouldn't, having a clarity of
G-H / VS1-VS2.

All together, the fabrication and quality of the earrings was very bad.

I received and email on August 12,2015 from PrimeStyle stating that they refunded me $395.78 (instead of $425.77 for the 1st installment / all toghether I had 4 installment payments of $425.77).

Now, I assume that the difference of $29.99 is probably the shipping charges that they billed me for, for sending the earrings to me in the first place.

This was the worst experience shopping online! I am very dissapointed!
I do not recomment this vendor to anybody.

Man, was I glad I found primestyle when I did
May 27, 2014

Man, was I glad I found primestyle when I did. I had just about summoned up the courage to ask my girlfriend to marry me, and spent weeks looking into buying a diamond engagement ring. Unfortunately, most of the information I found was not clear, and when I asked for advice in the jewelry store in my local mall, I was treated like garbage. I think that may have had something to do with the amount of money I had to spend. Or it may be that I just didnt know what I was looking for. Then I came across primestyles education and information pages. I dont know what it was exactly but the way they were written just seemed to make sense to me, when everything else I read before that just seemed to be a blur of complicated sentences that did not fit together. After reading through their education pages, I had a much better idea of what I might need and, most importantly, what I might be able to afford. So I contacted their customer service people through their email contact and was very happy with the response I got. Although I was still a little unsure of exactly what I was looking for, that customer service rep provided me with the rest of the information I needed to make a decision. So I ordered and paid for the ring I had chosen, and waited for the right time to present it to my girlfriend. I took her out to a fancy restaurant, asked the maître d to bring the ring out with dessert, and he did so. The restaurant even gave us a free bottle of champagne. Thank God my girlfriend said yes, as soon as she saw the ring. It is hard to say how much of her answer was based on the ring, but I will always be eternally grateful for the help I received in choosing that ring. I couldnt have done it without Gods blessing and the helpful customer service center at primestyle. I dont usually take the trouble to write reviews like this, but I am so over the moon at the moment I thought it would be a great idea to show my thanks. My fiancé loves her new ring and takes great pleasure in showing it off at work. Now all I need to do is sit back and let her plan the wedding. Thankfully, her father is a forward thinker and already has the money for the wedding laid away, and her two sisters are only too pleased to get involved with the planning. Really if youre having trouble deciding on what diamond ring to buy go check out the education pages on this website. They were a great help to me, and made me much more confident after I had read them.

I have no problem recommending prime style to anybody...
May 24, 2014

I have no problem recommending prime style to anybody who is reading this. I did a lot of research before buying a pair of stud diamond earrings for my girlfriend and I can tell you that prime style offers far and away the best value for money of any jewelry site online. I very carefully compared prices across numerous websites for similar products and primestyle was consistently lower priced than everybody else. I was looking for some gifts for family members and I have seven nieces to buy for. I have discovered that because they are of similar ages the easiest way to deal with possible arguments over who is the favorite is to buy them all the same thing. They also happen to have similar tastes so buying diamonds can get a little expensive if you're not careful, with seven to buy. I found a pair similar to the pair I had bought my girlfriend, and that she had been so very pleased with them I felt comfortable buying seven slightly less expensive pairs for my nieces. Okay they're not exactly massive diamonds, and perhaps the quality is not quite up to par but when you get a pair of earrings that would normally cost $1700 for $350, you shouldn't expect the absolute best quality. And as most of my nieces are between 10 and 14 years old, the chances are half of them will be lost over the next year or so, so the last thing I would want to do it pay top dollar. Having already dealt with the company in the past, I was confident that I would get exactly what I was expecting and they would arrive quickly. This was indeed a case and within a week of ordering I received seven pairs of 0.25 carat diamond stud earrings in white gold via FedEx. The quality was absolutely as I expected, the presentation boxes were very nice and all of my nieces can now tell their friends that they have a pair of diamond earrings. How many will get lost by the end of the year is another question, but that's what happens when you've got preteens and teenagers wearing jeweled. It's unreasonable to expect kids not to lose the sort of things and I won't be terribly upset if a few of them gone missing because I got such a great price on them. I'm always encouraged when I see that online businesses take advantage of becoming an accredited business and prime style is no exception they accept PayPal so you can always be sure you'll be able to get your money back if you have a problem and they are a BBB accredited business with an A+ rating.

I was surprised by my fiance purchasing my wedding...
June 3, 2011

I was surprised by my fiance purchasing my wedding band from this site. I saw the style and he got the ring. It is very pretty but when I tried it on, it was tight. We decided to just increase the size from 7.5 to 7.75 at a local jeweler only to learn we were never shipped the correct size: it was 7.0. Calls placed with message left to Primestyle customer service was not returned. When David was finally spoken to he instisted they quality test all rings and the metal stick being used by the 3 jewelers who sized the ring for us is wrong because the stick "it wears away with use." Is this guy for real? I must say that I had initially sized the ring with 1 jeweler when I first alerted Primestyle to the size problem. The jeweler insisted they should be made to refund the money. Upon speaking finally to David, I offered to bring the ring to a second jeweler before mailing back which David didn't want me to do... my question is why? If he is going to insist that quality testing means my ring cannot be the wrong size then he should be encouraging me to go to as many jewelers as I'd want. I sent a e-mail stating I'd be taking the ring to more jewelers and that Primestyle needs to make arrangements to pick up the ring at their expense. Because David had refuse to pay the cost to return the ring and told me that if we wanted a refund then we had to pay shipping and credit card processing fee, I just shipped it at my cost-just to be done. After I mailed it David did send a e-mail saying if I got it in writing that the size was 7.0, he'd send for the ring but it was too late-I had already mailed it. Although I mailed it back at my expense, no one contacted me about the ring until I called them. When I called almost 1 week after they got the ring back David started asking about a "RMA" number-I wondered if he was kidding since I had spoke with him and he knew that I had the ring sized and it was wrong. While I was on the phone he measured the ring and surprise! It is size 7.0 (I didn't think Zales/Kays/Adam jewelers were wrong). He didn't address refunding me the cost of shipping the ring which was because of their mistake. He stated the ring will be re-sized and returned. I am still awaiting ring arrival back to me.

By the way according to their site altering the purchased item void their lifetime warranty but from what I am reading there will be no one to uphold any kind of lifetime warranty. We upgraded the diamonds on this ring and I am afraid to check the quality-with the clock ticking it would be best to do this sooner than later. If we didn't upgrade, it woudn't matter as much. The authenticity of the appraisal certificate concerns me and from what I am reading it should.

Bottom line is we will not be purchasing another item from Primestyle and I did request refund for the return cost of postage. I don't think this is unreasonable request since they messed up the order-we'll see if David does anything about this. It appears that he deals with quite a few of these situations because he didn't even remember which mishap I was talking about... this it tell-tale sign. Beware!

I know this doesn't matter to Primestyle but this is my wedding band and I wanted only positive memories of my having it. My fiance re-proposed when he gave it to me and all this negativity shouldn't be associated with an item as important as a wedding band. Getting things right and filling orders as submitted shouldn't be at the insistance/expense/inconvenience of the customer.

STAY AWAY FROM THESE JERKS!
November 5, 2010

STAY AWAY FROM THESE JERKS!

Primestyle is one of the worst thing that can happen to you! These company and all of its employees are liars, as soon as they will get your money they will not care about you and the products they are selling is extremely poor quality.
Let me start from the beginning. We were looking for a bridal set. After looking at several web sites the best price of course was offered by Primestyle. The set that we picked up looked like a kind of pale yellow-rose gold which i liked a lot http://www.primestyle.com/135ct-princess-round-diamonds-bridal-p-*******.html
My fiancee ordered the ring online but he got several e-mails from Primestyle asking him for copies of his drivers license and credit card to confirm his identity ( yeah right!) We thought that time that they just wanted to check if we are not using a stolen credit card or something like that. So, he emailed them the copies they requested but gave them just the last 4 digits on the card, the other numbers were not visible. After all that was done Primestyle sent us a confirmation e-mail that our ordered was received and will be shipped in 3 days. Well, 3 days ended up being 3 weeks, as there is phase one, two and three... Finally the package was delivered and we opened the box...
What can i say... horrible feeling... the ring looked different than picture. The gold color was like lemon, you could not even say it is gold at all, the size of the ring was wrong too and the craftsmanship was so bad as well. The center diamond looked kind a yellow too but i thought that is because of the color of gold (killer yellow)... I did not want to believe that... i thought it is just a mistake, a horrible mistake... I took a look again o their web site and i decided to give them a second chance. So we decided to exchange that ring with a different one, this time in white gold http://www.primestyle.com/235ct-round-diamonds-bridal-p-*******.html.
Next day we tried to get in touch with Primestyle... I took us forever to talk to somebody. But finally a girl answered the phone and i began to explain what happened and why i am not happy with the first order. She said there is nothing she can, that the manager (DAVID) is gone for the day but they will give us a call back as soon as he gets back. Nobody called, and every time we called for the next 2 days David was not there. Finally the 3rd day David called us, he listened our complains, of course he told us that what happened was a horrible mistake, he apologized and promised us that the exchange ring will meet our expectations... So all we had to do was just to pay the difference and David asked for the credit card info over the phone. So we shipped the item back, and we payed for shipping and insurance. After they received the package they told us that that they are working on the exchange order.
4 days later, after my fiancee gave DAVID his credit card info over the phone Chase bank called us to inquire about some doubtful transactions... it looks that we were buying some internet games from India for a few hundred dollars... So, we ended up having an identity theft and unauthorized use of my fiancee credit card... after confirming that we did not buy any computer games Chase canceled card.
Just to let you know we have never ever had any identity theft or unauthorized use of our cards. That happened first time and happened just a few days after DAVID got the card numbers over the phone.
We called Primestyle but again the old song with no manager on duty and the personnel was very rude to us. The operator girl did not want to tell us what is David last name! Is that such a big deal to ask for a last name? Finally we got in touch with David and explained him what just happened, we did not blame him on anything, we just tried to understand what happened. Of course David said that this is impossible, that he does not have anything to do with that, he was very rude, he screamed and yelled on us telling us to talk to his lawyer... He just did not want to talk to us about that at all...
That being said In about 17 days we received the exchanged item...
Overall ring looked like the one in picture but still the craftsmanship of the ring was extremely poor and the stone looked yellow tinted though we ordered an I color diamond that should be near colorless. I took the ring to Helzberg Diamonds for an appraisal and i was told that the color of the diamond was in fact N, that the stone had a lot of inclusions, little clouds and cracks inside and that the cut of the stone was bad... and that the certificate of authenticity that Primestyle provided us with was fake and the diamond is not certified... THIS IS WHAT PRIMESYLE SELLS!
It took us forever to return the ring back for a refund, they did not wanted to talk to us, they did not answer e-mail, they were never returning the calls... They claim they have 10 day return policy with no restocking. BIG LIE! We got our money back in about 2 monts only because we called Chase and asked them to help us to deal with that. Otherwise i am sure these people would have never give us the money back.
That was the most horrible shopping experience in my life. The customer service at Primestyle.com is the worst anywhere. The whole company is about 3 people that will lie to you! I am wondering how can that be possible they are still in business!

If you are ready to loose your money and have sleepless nights or to end up having an ulcer (like I did) then give it a try, do some business with them. Otherwise please be aware and don't trust the good comments and reviews about them as i guess those are made by Primestyle.

PS: Please, don't think that you'll be the lucky one... with Primestyle that is IMPOSSIBLE!
