As perfect an experience as it possibly can be. I need a replacement part for my dell XPS and I was able to find it on their site at a very reasonable price. I had my apprehensions about not receiving the right part or it not being in a good condition but everything was perfect. I've purchased from parts-people for several years. They're an extremely ethical and helpful company. They noticed that I had purchased an incorrect part for the refurbished laptop I was buying. I was after a backlit keyboard. I installed it in the machine that it was said to be part of... no workie.
Parts People had all of the items I needed to fix my laptop at prices that were equal to or better than the other vendors on sites like eBay. They also shipped my order on the same day I placed it and it arrived a day early. All of the parts seem to be in great condition, so I'm quite happy with my purchase.

Seriously, I cannot recommend Parts-People enough. I provide desktop support for a 200+ employee company and we use almost entirely Dell computers. Once warranties expire I can fix pretty much any problem that arises.
This was the second LCD screen I have purchased and it was installed without any issue. Looks just like it did when it was brand new. This wasn't my first purchase, and won't be my last.
I ordered a video card from them that worked perfectly but was too large to replace the computer cover. I wrote them an email and called them as soon as they opened for business at 10am CT. They had already read my email sent just before 10am CT, they then sent me the correct part free of charge and return shipping for the wrong part... no questions asked. I was able to find replacement parts for laptops that Dell no longer supported. The replacements were new, not refurbished. In one case, I was totally surprised to find it since the laptops were more than 5 years old. Delivery was prompt better than promised. Very pleased with this service.
I checked the compatibility thru Parts People website, and it was verified as compatible. The size was too big for xps 15 9530.

Bought a replacement lcd for my laptop, couldn't be happier with it! Delivered to me within the specified time and arrived in pristine condition. They have a great tutorial for replacing laptop parts.
Helped me out of a bind, they even helpfully enclosed a parts list of all the parts they stock for my model in case i need something else.
And they knew exactly how to handle international post the the UK.
Now to get this fitted... 10/10
Got my parts in 3 days (fastest shipping for what I paid) and was able to instal the part with their online instructions. The only thing that wasnt right was that the j and k key caps were swaped but it was an easy fix.
Every person I talked to was very helpful and very knowledgeable. They helped me with my laptop problems and got me back up and running in no time. They helped me make the repair decisions based on what I needed the laptop to do while still keeping my wallet in mind which is always nice. I will definitely use parts-people again in the future.
My hobby is fixing up old laptops, and this power switch worked like a charm on my old Inspiron 9100. Not only does it work great, but it improved the cosmetic condition of the laptop - it looks brand new!

I tend to purchase my electronics from Amazon or B&H. I had a friend who needed her computer repaired. Unable to find the correct parts on my favorite sites, I did the "sketchy" way of finding it by just Google searching the part number. Parts-people came up, and seemed to be the only site that actually sold the exact part I needed.
I really liked the field where I could enter my computer's service tag to see if the part was compatible.
The shipping speed was really good. Although there is no free shipping option, it was fairly cheap and is definitely fast enough for computer repair turnarounds.
The only thing I did not appreciate is that it would not accept my debit card, it could only take a credit card.
Overall I am very pleased.
Parts People was recommended to me by my school's IT department when I had them look at my Dell Latitude E6430. I needed a fan, power adapter, and battery, all of which were easy to find on their website: just input the service tag and all of the compatible parts are listed. Prices overall were reasonable, but I did go elsewhere for the battery as the listed batteries, while DELL official, were expensive (in some cases, 2 or 3 times as expensive). Time will tell if that was a good decision. After replacing the fan with help from Parts People's tutorial videos, the laptop seems to be good as new! I will definitely be returning for any future replacement parts.
I needed to replace the entire touch screen and upper lid assembly on a 1.5 yr old Inspiron. With Dell's inventory cycle, Dell was not distributing these parts. With low inventory, suppliers were gouging prices (including used on Ebay). Parts-People had new, genuine parts at very fair market prices. Parts-People will be my go to source for computer parts and I will share my experience with other IT professionals I know.
