Returned two pairs of shoes and its been 1 month and still no credit on my credit card yet. Customer service said it was still in transit even though my return tracking slips says they received it 2 weeks ago. It is ridiculous time line for a return process. Not worth ordering from them if this is how a return process is done.
I drove 45 minutes to Nordstrom Rack In woodlands hills last night around 6 pm. When I get they didn't let us in, they we are closed. On line shows that store would be close at 8 pm. Talk to manger in this regards. She said we closed. Basically they didn't care. General manger of this store has no basic knowledge of management skill. Very disappointed the reasoning that she gave us. On top of that security gard getting involved of decision making.

I used to make purchases using the free ship to store option. I am extremely disappointed to see the new policy is the purchase must be $89 or greater to get free ship to store. This is the same spending threshold to get free shipping to home! Why would anyone now choose ship to store when they can just ship it to home using the same "minimum spend threshold"? Does this company not realize that many customers will shop in store once they are there picking up their order (thereby generating more sales)? This is extremely poor decision making by management and corporate executives. Nordstrom Rack just lost me as a customer!
I returned my item within the 45 day time frame but they didn't process it for 3-4 weeks and then only gave me a 50% refund because it was past the 45 days. And I used their return label so they know when I took it to the post office. I will never order from them again.
I usually spend $100 to get the free shipping. Then I try everything on and send back what I don't like. The printable labels come out of your return for $6 which isn't bad. The return takes a bit, but that's fine to me.
I placed my order and i paid for expedited shipping and I basically threw my money out the window! They kept changing my order date! Until it took a whole month to finally arrive! Honestly this is the last time I purchase anything with them... it is not with the hassle and customer service truly sucks I've contacted them about 6 times and they never gave me an accurate response! I have ordered from Nordstrom Rack online store many times in the past with excellent results. Speedy shipping, returns and credit. Now I have an order placed on Oct. 15,2016 that says it is ready to ship. I have already been charged for the merchandise that has not shipped. I spoke to my credit card company and they will allow me to dispute it on the next billing cycle. I would really like to have this merchandise. What is going on here? Will I have the same problem if I need to return an item? I think returns to a store are in order even though is is 75+ miles away.
This place is not what I remember it to be. What the hell happened to Nordstrom?! I can't even believe I just opened a platinum Visa with Nordstrom too, and I have had nothing but problems with my orders. I will be cancelling my card and shopping someplace that has good service. This is ridiculous, especially since they give you no resolution and basically say screw you when you call. I don't understand?
I ordered 2 watches and the package was delivered to my house without the watches inside. I made so many calls, live chat with their customer service but until now, 3 months after the missing of order, I still don't have my order or my money back either.
They kept saying that it in an investigation then their system confirm that my order shipped out with those watches.
I am so frustrated with those things.
I have ordered from them online twice. The first time they messed up my order and sent me only 1 item that was correct. Not to mention they shipped my items late. Now I am waiting on some boots to come in and they have not shipped yet. I contacted customer support an had no idea when my items would ship.
I got so ripped off by Nordstrom rack- items cancelled- I don't know anything about it until I went to find out where my items were! Shipping for the rack is fraud- but from Nordstrom on line - free shipping but Nordstrom's crack- unreasonable cost! Will never do business with them again- and by the way - keep my refund that was cancelled and I never received a refund- bastards!
Ordered a dress online for my sister in law's wedding. They not only sent me a dress 6 sizes off from what I ordered but they sent it in petite instead of regular. The day I received the shipment I checked online and they were out of my size. When I called all they were willing to do was send me a free return label and say they'll waive the shipping fee on my next order with them. If I'd been able to get my size in the dress, it'd only be a slight annoyance. But now I have to pay for a totally different dress and a more expensive one. I feel like there should be at least SOME compensation for a complete error on their part when they've run out of the inventory that they wrongly shipped. Terrible way to deal with customers.
How do you justify selling items that you do not stand by. I purchased an expensive purse and the leather is already wearing off after 1 month. The cashier that I approached agreed that this was not ok and called over someone from that department. This employee was very rude and told me too bad! It is a discounted store and they ONLY return items that still have tags on them and have not been worn. Trust me, if I knew this purse was going to fall apart so quickly I would not have purchased it in the first place! I sent an email to cancel my online account and was told it was done but am still receiving emails. I will never purchase anything at NR again based on this experience. I am a Nordstrom card holder and am tempted to cancel that as well.
Went to the Rack on Black Friday - the store was jammed but there were no lines at checkout - they had every cashier station staffed for quick check out. The inventory was awesome - selection fabulous - deals incredible! The Rack rules!
I placed an order in December 2021. Received most of the items in a reasonable time but got a box yesterday (6 weeks post order date) with the last portion of the order which should have contained 3 dresses. Instead, when I opened the untampered package, it contained only two of the three dresses. I contacted customer service immediately and the representative stated that they would submit the information. Today, I received an email stating that the refund was not approved. I contacted customer service again to make an inquiry on why I was not being refunded for an item that was not shipped. I received a second email stating that I need to contact my local police department to report theft. Absolutely ridiculous customer service and response! The only thief is the company who didn't include the item in the shipment but will not make the customer whole. After shopping with Nordstrom Rack for years, this situation is a complete turnoff and I will no longer support this company.
They are a mean bunch. After a month of waiting for my paid in full order (including 2 phone calls enquiring on its status), I got an email out of the blue initiating a return for my order. When I called, they said the package had been returned by the shipper due to an incomplete address. When I pointed out that the problem was on their end -- my address is correct on all the emails I received from Nordstrom Rack they completely evaded the issue. Since I live in Canada and need to pay currency exchange, I lost $10 due to their mistake. When I asked for the money -- they offered me free shipping if I ordered something else - but no refund due to their mistake -- they should have done that!.
The way they handled me on the phone -- can I put you on hold while I check with my supervisor, oh, my supervisor isn't answering, can I call you back (they didn't -- they sent an email saying the supervisor says that there will be no compensation because the address was incomplete).
I am a cardholder with nordstrom and have been a long time buyer at both nordstrom and nordstrom rack. Just the last year or so I have noticed the quality of items at nordstrom rack has gone down significantly. I have returned more in the last year than I have ever had to. Things are not described accurately and often not photographed accurately. Very disappointed. Just received a pair of shoes today for $100 they looked so cheap and flimsy I was embarrassed to wear them though they fit just fine. I am sending them back but unfortunately returns are taking About 6 weeks to even reach the warehouse this year with every single one of my returns. It takes another 10 to 14 days to process the return. That's just completely unacceptable!

Ordering from Nordstrom rack is easy but what I totally dislike and I never experienced this with any other department store is when you purchase an item on line for example shoes they charge you for the label so you do not get your full amount that you pay for back I think that is really crappy. I do not live any where close to a Nordstrom Rack the closest one is about 3 hours away I think this company could afford to have a pre paid label for heavens sake. I will think twice before ordering something again from this company
1. They use laser ship which will leave your packages next to your mailbox by the road
2. When USPS loses a package they want you to wait two weeks after the date the package was suppose to be delivered before they will consider the package lost and issue a refund.
The cost of products sold there are too much for the poor customer service they exhibit.
