I have been shopping at newegg.com for about 5-6 months. I was looking to buy a new laptop when i decided to build a new desk top. I applied for a credit card and received a card instantly, i was able to use it a short time later. The first night i bought a few things for my new computer. Within a few days i had everything ordered and some extra's.
The shipping is normally free and fast. You can spend a few dollars more to have your order rushed out, most times it will ship the next day. Depending on where you live, you should get it in about 2-3 days. Unless you bought cheap stuff coming from china. You might have saved a few dollars, but now you have to wait 2-3 weeks or longer for your stuff to be delivered. 7-10 days on the cargo ship and up to 30 days in customs. Every once in a while, something will get stuck in customs for 45-60 days. It doesn't happen often, that i know of, but it does happen.
Anyway, newegg.com have great prices and daily specials going on every day with different items on sale each day.
I end up maxing 2 credit cards at new egg. They have so much cool stuff. And you can find them on eBay
I ordered all of the parts for a custom PC for my sons to build for Christmas. I ordered part on 11-28-20 and another order on 11-30-20. A few days before Christmas it became obvious my video cards and CPU fans would not arrive on time. I ordered from Ebay and Amazon and was able to get the components to my house before Christmas. Newegg acknowledged that the fans were lost and started a 7-10 day claim for me(not helpful). However, the video cards were supposedly on schedule from China. I was not aware I ordered something from China. I assumed it was all from Newegg. Wrong. Anyway after it was too late for Christmas I received my items that I now had no use for. I had to pay return shipping and restocking fees on the packages. Close to 80 dollars. I understand they cannot control shipping times but a month is unreasonable by any standard and I should not be held financially responsible for the shipping delays. First and last dealings with Newegg. They only care about the bottom line and are not interested in taking care of the customers needs unless it makes them a buck. Amazon always takes care of any issues I have and I should never have taken my business away from them. Lesson learned.

I give Newegg a 2 star rating for good reason. I have ordered plenty of items from Newegg in the past and I tend to stay away since the stories I've heard of packages being marked as delivered but the driver does not attempt to deliver it. Well it's unfortunately more than this. The purchases I've made in the past either came on time or late. It was always a 50/50 chance you would get it on time(Pre-COVID). Luckily I never purchased anything of great value until now. I recently purchased a new $200 motherboard and was anticipating its arrival so I decided to stay home for most of the day to be there to receive it. I also have a ring security camera that I have set to record at all times. NO ONE attempted to deliver it but marked it as "delivered". After doing research I found its the shipping company OnTrac that Newegg uses most of the time for their "fast n free" shipping. 1.1 STARS! However the employee reviews mention it's a good place to work. No duh, you can steal mail(federal crime btw) and are protected by the policies in place. After being tossed back and forth between OnTrac customer support and Newegg customer support I can finally open up a claim. What I WANT is my motherboard AND my money back since this is putting off my pc build for at least another week. Most of all I want OnTrac shut down or delivery drivers held responsible for being thieves on a federal level.

These people lie- said they issued a refund on the 23rd of May- It's the 31st, no refund. Checked with my credit card company, no refund has been issued. 20 emails later, all BS. Will never buy from a company like this again no matter what the price is- AMAZON ALL THE WAY.

I ordered a SSD card for a birthday gift. At checkout I was able to enter my shipping info - which I use a PO Box - PAID for the order and all was good. The SSD card was to be delivered two days before the birthday. Three days AFTER the scheduled delivery and one day AFTER the birthday, I checked on the delivery status and saw my order was marked 'return to sender' when it was in my home town! Upon calling Customer Service, I was told it was marked 'return to sender' because they don't deliver to PO Boxes. When I asked why was I able to enter my PO Box address I was told 'I'm not sure but we don't deliver to PO Boxes." Do you think anyone in shipping could've notified CS about a PO Box if that is their policy?

I ordered this SSD and paid for it, so instead of getting the item shipped, I get an e-mail the next day stating that my order was cancelled which I never cancelled; frustrated I got I turned around and ordered an SSD from AMAZON and in 2 days I got my order.

I purchased a EVGA Nvidia 2080 Super card that came with two free promotional games. Wolfenstein YoungBlood and Control, which showcase the new Ray-Tracing technology the video card offers.
The codes were invalid. Contacted Nvidia who was excellent and very quick with replying but they stated since I purchased it through NewEgg, it was NewEgg's responsibility to provide me with the two free promotional games.
NewEgg at first escalated my case only to reply after 2 days with instructions on how to redeem the game (which I knew).
I called back, spoke to a supervisor and she had to re-escalate it which now makes me wait the weekend. This has been going from 9/17 to at least 9/23/19.
The redemption codes were invalid. My complaint is on how long the resolution process is and why did I get issued invalid redemption codes in the first place.
I bought the card of NewEgg for the discount offered and now I regret it.
Deal with Nvidia, they are professional and there to help with any issues.

I purchased 2 items paid for 3 day shipping - one took, 7 days, they other has not even arrived 10 days later. I tried all weekend to get CS on the Customer service chat, and no one would answer, Monday, finally got someone - and they wanted to give me a "gift card" - Well if i wanted free shipping i would of checked that box and the 2 items would be here by now. NO I paid for a service i did not receive, the refund regardless how small i wanted back on the type of payment i used.
Think - if they did this to every one they service, pennies add up these people are making a killing - but not on me. When i pay cash, I DO NOT WANT A GIFT CARD THAT EXPIRES - LET A LONE A GIFT CARD - I WANT MY MONEY BACK!

My first order was over $500 for parts to build a computer (everybody seemed to want to rave about their deals). They do have a sweet selection and deals that would blow your mind, but as somebody else pointed out, their customer service stinks.
I had ordered the wrong CPU. I didn't read everything. That was my fault. When the CPU came (as it is OEM), It came inside a tiny plastic container inside of a much larger box (with the rest of the stuff I had ordered). The tiny box wasn't even taped shut (is that how you treat $160 of product?). The CPU had come out of its container and many of the pins had become bent on one side.
I had contacted customer service, only to be given a phone number to the manufacturer. The item itself was listed as "no returns--exchange only."
I had to unbend the pins and relist the item on ebay with a MASSIVE reduction in price. I will never order from there again.
If you have trust that karma will get you by without incident, that would be the place to go. You can't beat them on price.

Riding on a good name for how many years, now? Too bad for the customers who don't shop around or read reviews.

Newegg hands it to UPS and they travel with it FOR DAYS and then hand it over to USPS and they travel with it FOR DAYS... Then it gets dropped off at the local post office in YOUR TOWN (when UPS could have delivered it to YOU). Then THERE IT SITS... FOR DAYS... until the post office can get it to you. NEVER AGAIN.
No! No matter what I do or say it will still be slow shipping and... returns... YOU LOST IT! Took a month to get a freaking refund. What are you guys F ing doing over there?

I came to Newegg because a friend recommended it, and will never go back. Their customer service is rather strange, and as of now they have stolen $250 from me!
In my case, I ordered a speaker set that was incomplete (even though it was not advertised as such). Sounds confusing to install? It was. I attempted to return it unused (although I did look at it before returning it - maybe that qualifies as "used.") Newegg custimer service started out helpful, and asked me to return for a refund. I went through the whole process of packaging and returning the set. After receiving the whole thing, they bizarrely changed their mind about the refund they promised me...
And here's the kicker! They claim to have sent it back on Dec. 15, but I still haven't received the item back! So as of now, they have *stolen* $250 from me, as I don't have the item back in my possession but have not been issued an refund either!
I will NEVER buy from this company again. There is a reason why companies like this can get away with slightly cheaper prices (to the extent this place has them) - their customer service can do whatever it wants, because there is no chance they will have to deal with you face to face. Buyer beware! Go with a place that you can actually visit, or an online company that has a bricks and mortar set-up as well - or at least with a company that doesn't outright steal from its customers!
On September 26,2021 I bought an axle CV and this Monday on the way to work it was damaged and I talked to Newegg about the Cv axle warranty and they told me that the warranty was with the manufacturer so I talked to the manufacturer and told them about what happened and that they would make me validate the warranty and they said to talk to newegg and they only passed the ball to each other and I think that speaks ill of the credibility of the 2 companies because they tell you something they will not Comply

I just bought a computer on June 17th said delivery by June 23rd, Well today June 26th I get home with a note on my inside door package taken to secure location for pickup. Ok 1 Driver had to open Enclosed front porch door to put said note on house door, 2 we do not have problems with packages being taken in our neighborhood. Called Newegg was told package is not due to be delivered till June 29th. Went to secure location and told package not there and cannot pick up till they have June 27th or 28th before I will be able to pick up. Should have learned after last time I bought newegg parts 1 week late.

While Newegg likes to claim that their customer service is available 12 hours every business day, what they refuse to tell you is that the likelihood of you speaking an actual human representative is almost nonexistent. I tried calling them to change shipping details DIRECTLY after I had placed an order. I was told I would have to wait about 15-30 minutes to speak to a representative. Over an hour later, I finally speak to a representative who tells me that I cannot change shipping details anymore because it's been too long after the order was placed. I tried to call again later to refund the order; not only did they refuse to put me on the line with a representative (instead bouncing me from robot to robot endlessly), but their phone hung up on ME. I normally try to keep my cool and remain unbiased during these customer service instances, because I know their job is not the easiest in the world. But Newegg did absolutely nothing to try to help me with me order. They made me wait over an hour only to tell me that they would not help me, and then they refused to speak to me any more. I only used Newegg because Amazon Prime (which is obviously far superior) did not have the item I needed, and rest assured I will not be using their services ever again.

I am going to make my long story short. Purchased a "Brand New" pc on 10/21... Received on 10/23 and that same day I called to notify of the issues. This PC had a CPU Temperature error and would not stay on passed 30 Seconds. I had to send it back which took another 5 days for them to receive the equipment. The equipment was received on 11/01, I was promised a 2-4 day process and a new one will be sent out. It is 11/18 on the day I write this review and I just received my first email from the company after my numeruos calls to inquire about the replacement. I ended up asking for a refund coincidentally the same day 11/11/21, they received word on the returned equipment. I was told the process would take 3-5 days... Once again its 11/18 and NOW is when this RMA was closed and I would have to wait ( you guessed it) another 3-5 days... Once this ordeal is done, I would have exactly a month to finalize a process that other companies have finalized in hours... This company promises call backs and emails, for nothing... If I could have put 0 stars, believe me I would. I honestly wish the CEO or someone from corporate were to take their time and read this message or even listen to their recorded calls... That company is a shame

Answer: The reason why i gave a bad review was because i ordered a phone for my wife, An I-phone 5 and NewEgg.com only sent a box with the manual and a charger for the phone. I called NewEgg.com and explained to them and they stated i needed to wait while they investigate, they never got back to me so i called them again. The person i talked to put me on hold then came back to me and stated she was checking this what was going on and kept putting me on hold for a total of 45 minutes to only come back and tell me that i need to send them a picture of the box and contents. I have no clue what my wife or children did with the box now i am screwed. 219.00 down the drain. This was the first and last purchase i will make until the get this straight.
