I wear a 6E shoe. I have been wearing new balance cross trainers for 20 years. Their last version of a 6E cross trainer was the 624 which was a fairly neutral shoe. They have discontinued the 624 and substituted an 857 as their only cross trainer to come in a 6E. Unfortunately, the 857 works for correcting pronation problems, whereas I have a supination problem which is the opposite of pronation. I will now begin my quest to find shoes other than new balance which no longer fit my feet. Sad
NO LONGER and CUSTOMER. I have been a New Balance customer for 35 plus years. I have always paid more for Made in USA. Unfortunately, the last two pair I have purchased the rubber mid-soles have started to deteriorate and when I contacted New Balance they denied my warranty claim because I did not keep receipts. I guess my 35 years of loyalty to New Balance means nothing. Their customer service is terrible when i started the request to see if they would take car of these defective shoes.
Plain and simple, they are terrible. The shoes have the worst innersoles, and you are expected to purchase expensive innersoles regularly or with the new shoes you just bought. What? Why would my brand new shoes be unwearable? BUT the shoes are not built to last in the first place. Either buy cheap shoes that you replace regularly, or buy real ones. These are expensive trash that cost a load of money to not maintain
Bunch of rude thieves and bloody foreign call centres disgusting customer service refused refund shoes in perfect condition shoes not fit for purpose extremely uncomfortable
I never get tired of my New Balance shoes. They look great and are very comfortable, perfect for any kind of sports activity or just walking around in the city.
Sizing is so wrong and quality of soles is below average. Customer service is non existent. Running trainers so uncomfortable you feel like you're walking on the actual road
My family have been longtime NB wearers. Love the shoes but be aware of false/hidden claims on their website if you order through there. My 9 yr old daughter has recently experienced severe foot pain. The Dr recommended trying new shoes (we had tried a different shoe for start of school yr) since there was nothing on X-rays. So loving NB we ordered new shoes that night and paid $25 for 1 day UPS to get them ASAP. So here we are two days later and the shoes haven't even shipped yet. When I called customer service to find out what happened they let me know that the shipping is 1 day but they have 2 days on top of that to prepare the order! What? Two days to get shoes out of the warehouse and put them in shipping container? Anyway, I told them I never saw that and if I knew I would have just gone to the NB store the next day instead of ordering online. They said it was in the fine print on order summary page and since it is there they wouldn't even refund me the money I paid for 1 day. Overall just a terrible experience and no empathy as I now have to watch my daughter hobble around in old school shoes (because they have to be white) that are too tight. I will never order from NB online again and going forward I'll be looking more closely at other brands.
I bought these cute but expensive shoes 3 years ago (pink w/ gray trim... Susan Komen) and put them in the closet with other shoes until I needed them in the future. Three years later, I was looking thru my shoes and re-discovered these. I took the tags off and wore them yesterday. Within an hour they started breaking down on the foam part of the sole. Approximately 4 hours later they were so disintegrated that I had to take them off. Not what I was expecting because this is a supposedly high-end shoe. I called customer service today and because they sat for three years, they could care less. I told them that other brands have sat longer & Ive worn them no problem. I also have other brands that I've owned for 25 - 30 years that don't disintegrate/breakdown. She said she can't speak for other brands, but because NB sat there's nothing they can do. I advised her that my home is air conditioned & the shoes were kept in a nice box, inside a larger plastic tote box. She invited me to go purchase another pair at my convenience. I told her that I would never ever purchase this brand again since they fall apart faster than a crappy pair from Walmart. I would also advise my friends to avoid this brand also.
I bought 2 pairs of New Balance and the quality is so poor that I got foot pain so bad I had to go to a PT and chiropractor. When I replaced them with Hoka, I felt immediate relief. I will never go back to New Balance because they cost me a fortune in expenses.
I've worn a lot of sneakers in my life, but their shoes truly stand out in terms of support, comfort, and durability. It is my third pair from NB and it's always a good choice!
I've been buying New Balance running shoes for a long time as they offer narrow widths. Their new CEO Joe Preston seems intent on ruining the brand through misleading advertising promotion practices. Their recent short 3-4 day FRIENDS25 PROMOTION didn't cover any of the shoes that could be found in my size. When you call their "customer service", in name only, line after waiting for 30 minutes for a 20 minute suggested wait time, I hung up. In all wasted nearly an hour on their poor service. I will go out of my way NEVER to bur another pair of NEW BALANCE shoes.
My sister had the Women's 501v1 Sneaker and I used hers for a day... I immediatelyloved them! I bought a pair and now it's my favorite footwear. They are very comfortable and I think this is the brand I will be using until I get bored of them haha
I don't mind paying extra $ for quality. But this last pair of New Balance sneakers are junk. I paid a lot of $ for a product that could not hold up after a month of limited use.
As a serious creature of habit, I've owned the same style of gray New Balance shoes for nearly a decade now. And when it gets worn, I get another pair. Thank GOD New Balance never discontinues that style, so I can keep on keepin' on. I only wish New Balance made better RUNNING shoes. Compared to Asics, NB shoes perform pretty poorly in gravel terrain.
11/28/21: I buy a pair of shoes from their website. They send me a confirmation code + a receipt for my transaction.
3-4 days later, I don't hear from them, so I decide to check online for the status of my transaction: impossible, because their website keeps telling me that I'm inputting the wrong format for my zip code.
I log in a formal status update hoping that they'd email/call/text back, which they did the following day saying they would look into it.
2 days later, still no update. So I try the same process again. Nada, nothing, zip! They drop the conversation. No matter what I try to do on their website, it does not work.
12/14/21: I receive a very generic email from them saying "your item is out of stock". I immediately go to their website just on a hunch: lo and behold, that thing magically works now and does confirm that my transaction has been indeed canceled. On top of that, the item in question IS still available for purchase BUT at a higher price... tsk, tsk!
Its very late now and I have yet to receive a refund confirmation email. You'd think that when they canceled my transaction, they'd refund me at the same time. I'm waiting...
As an Amputee I found New Balance shoes were the most comfortable shoes with the abzorb heel and roll bar features. For 30 years I have bought at least 100 shoes, literally all I wear until today. I look at the web page and there is no white person to be found. You moved your manufacturing to China and just have corporate here and now I see how WOKE you are NB. It will make no difference that I will no longer buy your product, however, I will no longer support your WOKE BS.
I love this brand and my 1st pair was recommend after a foot trauma from my specialist. I have since acquired many different pairs. My personal favorite shoes!
I have been ordering shoes from them for years now. Never once had i had any complete. Shoes always fits perfectly and numerous color options are also there.
The best shoes for support for people with wide feet. I would never go running with out a pair, they have saved my feet from the torture of narrow addidas and nike.
If I could give 0 stars I would.
Order placed on 28/10 apparently delivered on 31/10 by ups. However their proof of delivery was a photo of the items on my doorstep. Contacted new balance customer service via the chat to explain the situation and was told an investigation would be raised that would take up to 15 working days for me to hear back. I then contacted again on the 15th day as I had not heard anything I was told someone would email me which they did and I was advised that ups had marked the item as lost and my refund was being processed and would be with me in 2-5 working days.
This is now the 5th working day and I have not received my refund so I again contacted new balance customer service. I was them advised that ups had declined the investigation as they have proof of delivery. Even though I have already been told they had marked as lost and I was getting a refund.
I have then called new balance customer service as I was not getting anywhere with the chat option. I have then been told on the phone that when the refund has been put through another department in new balance has rejected it as there is proof of delivery and I will not be receiving my refund.
I am absolutely disgusted with the service I have received. The item was a birthday present which I had to go out and replace as I never received this order. I have been told I would get my refund and told that ups marked as lost. Then I have been told I'm not getting my refund and they have rejected it due to proof of delivery. And now I have told on the phone that it's actually new balance refund process department that have rejected the refund because there was proof of delivery.
Every person I have spoke with has given me a different story which is not acceptable especially when I have been promised a refund and never contacted to be told any different until I have raised this with them myself.
This was not the only parcel UPS delivered that day, I had also placed an order with another company who I contacted the same as new balance and explained I did not get the item and they refunded my item.
