It looks great. The fitters made a good job and left everything tidy. It's provided a dry area outside our living room patio doors. We also added a wall heater, which provides instant heat. Very happy with it.

New awning for back of house

We recently bought two electric awnings from Nationwide for the back of our house and could not have been more satisfied. The initial on site consultation to help us select the best option was extremely professional and the advisor knew every detail of the products and variables. The survey to measure up for the bespoke designs was then carried out within the specified timeframe and delivery and installation similarly followed within the quoted window. There were no installation difficulties or compromises and all work was complete in less than 3 hours. I would certainly recommend Nationwide to others based on our experience.

Five Star Service

From receiving the product brochure, the sales visit, survey visit and fit everything went smoothly.
Very pleased, all the work has been finished to a very high standard. Would highly recommend, in fact 3 of our neighbours have admired the veranda and are considering having one of their own.

What a difference...

Firstly our visit to Wareham, which proved decisive, then the onsite detailed consultation by a professional and experienced surveyor.
Finely, highly skilled and patient workforce who erected our fabulous veranda that has transformed the rear of our property.

Pergola

Our request for more details led to a private visit from a nationwide team salesman, we discussed our requirements and with his advice (no pressure) we were able to choose our ideas for our perfect pergola at a reasonable price compared to other companies.
When all our details were confirmed a two man team arrived to erect the pergola at an arranged date. Although the weather was against them they began to erect the construction to our requirements, the weather worsened into torrential rain but they continued working together throughout.
So professional and polite, thank you guys we are thrilled with the finished result!

Electric awnings
August 1, 2022

The experience from start was great. Good sales person gave quite a few tips and advise. Engineer visit was extensive - measuring light and shade and sun positions etc. resulting in a product that does what it's supposed to. Had to adjust wind sensor on one as a little too sensitive but now working great.

Veranda
January 28, 2019

Nationwide veranda fitted to our home in Yorkshire will keep the rain off and let us enjoy the outside when it rains! Bit of a delay to start with, took it as a good sign that they had plenty of business. They kept us informed. Sales guy was pleasant & not too pushy which we liked. The 3 installers did a good job and cleared up well when they finished. Fitted a couple of months ago, looking great so far - recommend

The team of two worked great together always on the go, we supplied the tea/coffee and biscuits and they kept going. Really pleased with the veranda which was assembled all within five hours from start to finish, they had a three hour journey each way to arrive at our home. The team were friendly and courtesy and took all the packing and left over materials away with them, including soil. I would defiantly recommend this particular team who had travelled all the way from Dorset. Thank you for a job well done.

Installation was very quick despite the overall size. The team were very organised, very pleasant. They left absolutely not mess. The finished product looks fantastic. Highly recommend them as everything went to plan, and yes there were a few minor issues which they encountered while installing but the team kept me informed all the way through so I knew what was going on.

From start to finish, totally impressed with service. All departments easily contactable and went out of their way to arrange appointment dates convenient to our timescale, answer questions and ensure finances were paid in a timely manner. Sales rep, surveyor and fitters who visited and installed our awning know their products inside out and their advice was much appreciated.
Definitely worth 5 stars

At every stage of our buying process the service was extremely friendly. From the visiting salesman who put us quickly at ease with his approach and willingness to talk about himself and finding areas where we had similar interests. To the helpful, clean working and yes friendly installation team of two. They checked where the awning needed to go and that they understood our requirements. In between the two end processes we had conversations with the central team about timing etc and a visit from the surveyor to check everything out. He made a suggestion that slightly changed our order but for good reason.
My only adverse comment is that although we received a generous discount I still feel that the awning was not cheap but the quality appears to be very good and achieves our original aim so worth the extra cost. I fully expect that if anything goes wrong the company will sort it out without any objections.

Veranda Installation

The day of installation was atrocious, such heavy rain! But the guys worked on! Consulted me on all decisions that had to be made on the day and even moved my big acer (in a pot) back where it belonged! Can't fault them...oh and the blind? Works a treat!

We had this blind fitted 6 days ago and have had cause to use it on 2 occasions since. The temperature was kept much lower than the old inside blinds achieved.The fitters were very good and left nothing to clear up. They explained how it worked and demonstrated each function. The surveyor came yesterday and agreed it was properly done. I wish we had fitted one 12 years ago when the conservatory was erected. I have now removed the inside blinds and this has improved the appearance a lot and got rid of all those dead insects on top of them. We are very pleased with the result

We love our new veranda!

We have just had our veranda installed. From the start to finish they were very professional. The innovations team were superb and we would have no hesitation in recommending them. We did not feel pressurised into having anything we did not want. My husband was a little sceptical about the heater, but the first time we used it (late October) our friend had to swap seats because he was too warm. To be able to sit out late in the evening and enjoy a bottle of red is a joy. Also I must congratulate the installers who worked very hard and the pleasure of having them take away all the rubbish and ensure that the installation was cleaned before leaving was very much appreciated. Thanks you.

I first used Nationwide about twenty years ago. I recently decided that it was time to replace my awning and sun screens so I decided to use Nationwide again. I was delighted to find that the quality of their service has not deteriorated since I last used them. The whole process from ordering to fitting was handled professionally and efficiently. The fitters were particularly good. They were thorough and friendly and tidied up after themselves before they left. They also ensured I understood how to use everything before they finished. Thank you to everyone concerned. I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

Will it work?

Very professional and efficient company

At each stage turned up as planned, explained everything clearly. Followed up with engineer visit to check how installation would go and gave me the few things I needed to clear beforehand. Gave me a rough indication of installation date which was accurate. Arrived on time to install despite fog and long journey to me. Everyone involved was a pleasure to deal with, including people on phone, and did exactly as promised. I love my blinds and they are even better than I anticipated. I would use them again in a heartbeat. Thanks to everyone.

Excellent service

The men who fitted my awning were really pleasant and even moved my wall butterfly and thermometer to a different location so I didn't have top without me even asking. My telephone conversations with the ladies were always lovely. The product looks amazing although until the warm weather comes round I shall not be able to fully enjoy it. So far I am very pleased with the service from Nationwide. Thank you.
