What has happen and going on NASCAR
June 24, 2020

What is the difference in flying the Confederate flag and a car running with "BLACK LIVES MATTER" on your race car? I will tell you... NONE. While some find the flag to bring up unsettling emotions others find the reference to "BLACK LIVES MATTER" stamped on the sides of a one of the racecar unsettling emotionally as well. Because, believe it or not most Americans no matter what race, creed or religious background believe we are all Americans and "ALL LIVES MATTER". It is when we try to separate ourselves into categories that we create a divide and the hate, racism and violence pursue. There will always be bad people in the world and haters and racists but they are among the few. The majority of people just wish everyone could get along. My husband and I enjoyed NASCAR... Talladega twice a year and the others enjoyed on television. I can tell this was our holiday for over 18 years. We could go and let the cares of the world dissapear for several days. But, not anymore. We will not support NASCAR anymore in any fashion. NASCAR has made it abundantly clear that they are willing to pick one side over the other like most other sports. I really do feel NASCAR will feel the the crunch just as the NFL has since they succumbed to allowing players disrespect our nation's flag and anthem. Your fan base is and will continue to shrink as long as you show bias.

Now regarding the Bubba Wallace garage noose incident. I believe NASCAR calling in the FBI was the right move. However, I believe they have finished their investigation and it was found that no hate crime was committed and that it was a garage door pull no matter the shape of the knot. Yet Bubba Wallace is still in the public forum, stating that he believes it was a noose as I watched on CNN report. Regardless of the findings. This behavior now creeps into conspiracy theories. These actions also in public forum continue to exacerbate the already hostile environment within the United States. My husband and I loved Bubba Wallace and when it came out regarding this incident we were crushed. We hurt for him because we never had this in NASCAR. However, his continual conspiracy theories are doing no good anymore only harm. He also stars in the interview I referenced in the beginning that he never saw the noose. Then closer to the end he states that he knows it was a noose from what he seen. So which is it?

Good luck NASCAR I feel you will need it. But, i have had my say and you are no longer a blip on my radar.

NBC is so very lost.
September 20, 2017

I am on the fan council and have been since the beginning negative day 5. I have been watching NASCAR since 1977 or 1978. I appreciate all of the new cameras that are maned, unmanned, in cars on cars now even on drivers helmets, feet, brakes and the other 55+ needed to fully cover the race each week then pack up and go somewhere else in from one of the many different. The graphics are amazing with timers running all over their track. I have become very aware, attached and watch the ticker all the time. Fox is still running the best ticker covering the truck series.

NBC and NBCSN do not have a clue when it comes to using the ticker during the whole race showing little and usually wrong or late by laps late. NBC has basically given up using the ticker after the first caution or commercial.

Why NASCAR has not told NBC that we as the owners of the league will produce the race with NASCAR graphics not just Fox or most certainly not NBC. Fox did a fantastic job coming up and using their ticker. NBC is late can barely give the running order from week to week. NBC uses old blurry pictures with a driver number on the top. Then NBC shows usually about the top 10 to 20 then starts over with the same drivers in the same place and NBC can't update times so they might just show what manufactured car the driver has.

F1 has their own television network usually showing their own audio with graphics and the different countries come up with the audio. NBC has the audio announcers in North Carolina (I think.)

Could NBC get away on Saturdays broadcasting Notre Dame football only showing the game and play clock just only once a drive or put up wrong down and distance marker. On Sunday night would the NFL allow NBC to give the wrong score, not showing where the correct first down yellow line that is only for the TV viewers

NBCSN has a new Super sport in English soccer and now we no longer see each and every practice and live qualifying. NBC and their use of graphics is close to being OK during the qualifying speed or miles per hour is another issue NBC will not fix.

With the above sports the executives at NBC NASCAR should be very scared. NBC must chop off the dead wood at the top and move on to the next person. NBC can hire motivated college grads that IT hungry. The problem would be solved in hours not the 2.5 months NBC has been fiddle farting around not fixing this important up to the second race information.

Every other major league stated above have all the graphics they need and they work. If NBC can't solve our NASCAR problem then get rid of the worthless executives at NBC then the problem will be solved.

What about the Olympics. Would anyone still see the track in field during summer games give 100,200 or 400 meetings only showing the time in minutes? During the winter Olympics give speed skating just telling us how many laps each skater raced. I can just see NBC showing in minutes the results of th. E Super G or Downhill.

NBC GET THIS FIXED
