They block out so many games I used to get every game except for one now I'm losing about 20-25 games a year you need Apple TV plus many other providers to watch your games what a rip off and they charge more for subscription now plus they get kickbacks from the other providers they keep saying they're going to do something about blackouts and the $#*!s make it worse
They're nothing but ripoff they used to be better years ago and now they sell shares to other companies to show their games and we have to pay more now what a scam I went to watch the game and it was on peacock I had to pay five bucks because they sold out to us I think it was a 30 million dollar contract and they'll be gone and they raised the price on us great company I have even talked to them they even lie half of them don't even know what's going on pathetic
MLB.TV has always been glitchy but doable. Since the ASG of 2023, matters have taken a downturn. I can no longer view condensed games or recaps on my Android TV and customer service has yet to respond, nor have I seen any online comments about it. I'm holding out hope that complaints like mine will light a fire under them to do the right thing.
As a Mets and baseball fan I love this app. Many features from scores, videos, schedules and ticket purchases. You need a strong signal to have full access but that's true about everything.
I purchased MLB to watch baseball games and not watch player or manager interviews. If I wanted to watch interviews I would go to the appropriate sportscast to do so. It is very annoying and aggravating. If announcers can't keep up with a game, then change announcers. This is a crap policy. Watching Atlanta game and have had three interviews in just the 3 and 4 innings And another 3 more thru the 7th. Redundant crap. What think of team, etc, etc. Sick of watching these interviews. Total scam. MLB.com tricks people by not playing the commercials in the beginning of the season, thus causing people to decide to sign up. Furthermore, I think mlb.com filters who gets hit with the commercials. If you sign up for the yearly package, a marginal savings, in the beginning of the season mlb.com has no reason to please you and hits you soon with the commercials. For the past several years I have waited a month or two to sign up for a discount and have gotten no commercials. Years ago, however, when I was signing up for the entire year, I also got commercials. Mlb.com fooled me this time. I thought commercials were gone for good and mlb.com had done away with at least one part of its slimy practices. But alas...
Constantly when using audio I lose reception or it jumps back and repeats itself. And I do not mean occasionally: but rather constantly—as many as 20-30 times in a nine inning game.
I purchased what was supposed to by NLCS tickets if the SF Giants made it last year, ut they unfortunately did not. They accidentally posted the sales for the NLCS and tickets but were not supposed to. Instead is refund my purchase, I found hit I was charged for tickets for a game I was already attending. I contacted my he Giants who said they could not refund my money since potential game date had passed. They did I could work with ticketing in 2022. End result is I spent $700+ on tickets last October but only was offered one game this year which would be about $100. They are not offering any merchandise or food credits, or another game. They made $600 off of me!
Thanks a lot MLB TV! You screwed me real good. First you made me pay twice, first for the all teams package and then for the Padres specific package. Now, I hope to watch some of the postseason games, perhaps the Dodgers/Diamondbacks game, and it's only on TBS. Yes, MLB is a monopoly, and they just don't give a $#*!.
Beware! Luckily I noticed after placing my order that the shipping address had changed from the one I typed in. MLB shop has a Glitch in there system! If you pay with Apple Pay/goggle pay the shipping address automatically changes to the payee's. Their customer service Rep. Informed me of this when called them about my order address change. I first noticed the issue in my email order review notice, they don't tell of the issue.
What a waste of money pay monthly fee to watch your favorite team and find out every game is blacked out don't waste your money unless you want to watch the games later instead of live I better not get charged next month the review should be zero
Refreshing my browser 25 times per game takes the fun out of watching my team. I cannot believe in this day and age of technology and with the money that the MLB has that they cannot find a way to have a functioning product after all these years.
Besides crashing at the most critical times during a ball game… You never know when or why a game will be a blackout. Of course you do have the option of listening in a foreign language to a radio show from somewhere. I will not renew my subscription.
Noticed a charge of 118.99 to MLB.com on my bank statement. I never ordered it so I called. They told me I could not get my money back because it was after the 5 day refund period. Huh? I did not order it I said they said I have an account and they sent an Email saying that they were going to take the money out. Went back through all my Emails, No Email from MLB.com. As far as I am concerned MLB.com is a bunch of thieves and liars. When you have a product that sucks I guess you have to use less than legal ways to sell it. Like stealing peoples money.
Their site for tracking prospects is this worst. Last year, it would work and you were able to simply enter player names and see their box score stats daily. Now it simply deletes the players after you add them. Other connected "stat" section links end with 500 errors. At least if they were actually working on this site, they should have an "under contruction" message or something helpful. They need to hire some competent programmers that know how to code desktop websites.
Horrible streaming service. Cancled same day when I installed free trial because even the agent couldnt fix what I was doing. Found out 7 days later they charged me $140! Now its jumping through loops trying to request it back because I'd get an email saying it was denied so then I called and they "escalated " the issue which meant a call back within 24-48 hours. Nothing. 2 weeks now into now. JUNK.
Tried 2 different cards one had over 5 grand on it. Don't know what there problem is. I have no problem with YouTube tv or Hulu. I waited 30 minutes and my card was declined. I guess they have to many customers don't want new ones. Iam done with MLB TV Be careful trying to use a MasterCard. They show it's the preferred card of major league baseball. Not really what a joke.
Playing for 3+ yrs. Passes time. Used to be good game. Updates are simply to make users download new programs but no enhancements. Game designed using multiple programs meaning your skills don't matter if the program is predeterminación of game outcome. Don't waste $$ to buy players, etc. whether you get good players or purchase supposed player enhancements the programs win and they make $$. Phantom players you didn't buy or select end up on roster and can't be deleted. Big brother or glitch? Overall if you're sitting in airport or under dryer or on toilet it passes time. Clutch game mode best however you can't manually control game so…it will never be a #1 option among other similar games.
They black out local teams that are not playing in town. No Allstar game. No field of Dreams game. $160.00 of wasted money. They force you to Peackock and other crap to buy their subscription. Will never renew mine! A 1 star review is too high!
MLB needs to focus its energy on making the game interesting and fun. Taking political sides on a complex issue like voter ID leaves a bad taste. Just because your a Monopoly doesn't give you the right to try and bully force your Opinions on Americans. Shame on MLB. I won't watch anymore.
Watch you back - they auto-bill subscription renewals without sending a confirmation email. I've tried to cancel service by calling customer service 4 times and emailed without getting anywhere. This has been going on for two months. I believe their customer service is being managed by Kim Jong ill... i'm going to have to send a letter to the FTC and state attorney general just to hastle them... before you give them your credit card info, know that they are really ill.
MLB has a rating of 1.4 stars from 121 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with MLB most frequently mention customer service and last year. MLB ranks 52nd among Baseball sites.
