Basically they accept no returns, even on defective items. Once you open the packaging, even if you have a broke item or the wrong item they refuse any returns, exchanges or assistance in fixing the problem.
Don't buy from midway. Not only do they charge you 10 percent restocking fee for something that isn't your fault but they charge you shipping even though no where on their policies does it say that. Then they use excuses when you asked why you are being charged for shipping when it doesn't say anything about that on their return policy. Especially when 3 employees told you before you returned it that since it wasn't your fault that you wouldn't be charge! 100 dollars they changed for shipping return. It was one item that weighs less than 8 pounds. Customer service says there's nothing they can do about it. I was told by 3 employees that I wouldn't be charged!
Will not order from them again rather just the company that makes the parts themselves. I wouldn't suggest doing so either. I had missing parts from a dust cover I ordered and asked them to send said parts (2 pieces of rubber). Wouldn't do it without removing the cover from the gun and taking all the unnecessary time to remove the cover and send the item back. Seriously a joke. Order from the companies or cheaper than dirt.
I made a purchase in November 2013 for 22 bullets. It is now December 2014 and no bullets, but that is not all. I was informed that they have cancelled all back orders over a year old, saying they felt that was best for their business. For the last 3 months I would call to check the order and they would say we are expecting the shipment in today, I would call back the next day and they would say Nope, not sure when it will get here. They did this over and over, then just cancelled it. I waited a year I could have waited for it to show up. They said that the manufacturers said it could take up to two years to get the order in, Really, two years to fill an order that is a year old already... I find that hard to believe... I searched online and found the items at another website, in stock. So I guess Mr. Potterfield really does not care for our business.
Do buy from this company there shipping is real bad they used the cheapest way to ship product it starts with UPS and then they turn it over to the post office for delivery no way to track and it can take up 14 days before they do anything for you order from another company
Hello! Had fraud on my CC-- someone tried to purchase something from MidwayUSA. Their system flagged it as fraud. They called to follow up prior to shipping and were very helpful and empathetic during the whole phone call. They forwarded me to the correct person right away and I can't thank them enough for their help!
I have placed many orders and have always had the fastest shipping in the world. Had a issue on this last order and it was taken care of quickly.if I order reloading or hunting supplies it will be from Midway USA. They are in a class of there own.
I've been using this company for years and never had an issue. Especially good for difficult to find items serviced and Shipping has always been excellent.
I have used midwayusa since 2005. Their selection is vast, product discription accurate and useful, prices are fairly average (but some items cannot be found elsewhere), shipping time is short, products arrive in good packing material, and their customer service is available via phone or email and they will give you the benefit of the doubt and more than overly satisfy your needs even at a loss to themselves. This company leans more toward gunsmithing supplies. This company is only one of two companies that I can say is THE source for their venue of supply.
Ordered a Trijicon RMR and got one which looked like it had been installed and returned, no biggie it worked. While checking their site the price changed $30 from my order (just received the package) to their new pricing, reached out and they would not extend the new price on my purchase I just received. I'm returning the RMR and will not do business with Midway USA again.
Will not purchase from them again defective merchandise and refused refund.Ordered replacement from bass pro shop came in perfect condition.
After asking in an email if they would not cancel ammo orders more than a year old due to the shortage and being told they will maintain those orders they CANCELLED it two weeks later!
THEY LOST A CUSTOMER FOR LIFE!
Horable customer service. I tried to purchase a DPMS ar-15 upper 20" barrel 1-9" twist. They sent me a 1-8" twist. When I asked them they said that price and specs are subject to change with out notice. I told them that I didn't feel this is a spec difference, that they show different twist for different products. Anyway I sent the upper back they said it would take 24-48 hours. It has been 5 day's. When I contacted them they said again it would take 48 hours when I said it has been 5 day's since confermation of delivery. They have not contacted me back
Be careful with this company, their ammo prices are great but they make up with shipping charges. First off when they get product in they do not release it at a given time. They will release some and then an hour later some more. Right now with the ammo craze they have limits on the ammo so when ammo is added to the website you can only buy 500 rounds and pay 15 dollars to ship. Then an hour or 2 later they add more ammo and the same thing happens, before the end of the day you will be able to buy 2k rounds on 4 separate orders, but you will pay 60 dollars in shipping. If your lucky enough to get more than one item on an order, they will place it on hold and say they oversold but will immediately ship the remaining item to you. Don't bother calling, you will almost always get a busy signal, because of everyone else calling trying to combine orders(they will not combine orders by the way). Seems like all companies selling ammo are doing the same, they either jacking up the prices or they get you with the shipping. Either way good luck to everyone.
Post office lost my package and midway issued my a refund but still made me pay for the shipping for the lost package that never arrived? I'll never do business with them again.
Paid 16.95 for priority shipping and it's still not here supposed to be here within 4 days but at 5 days, still not here.
Customer service blows!
Midway changes their back order policy to meet their benefit with no regards to customer. Will not work with customer in any way. Customer service blows!
I've been buying pistol and rifle parts from Midway for the past 7 years, and I've never had a problem with the quality of their products or their service. Just so you know who I am:
* Registered Independent in California (yeah, I know, it's tough but I'm a lifelong resident)
* Competition pistol shooter (Glock 34's)
* I'm not a hunter, I'm a vegetarian + fish
* I'm strongly pro-Second Amendment
* I have a Concealed Carry Weapons license
Some of these reviews are complain ing about Midway's ammo sales. I don't know that they have any problems and wouldn't care anyway. In California we aren't allowed to buy online. I have highly customized Glock 34's and I rely on Midway for MOST of my aftermarket parts. I've tried the Glockstore in the past, but their shipping department is very slow and they don't have the range of products for my Glocks that Midway does.
I've ALWAYS received my orders on time and packed correctly. No problems at all, which is 5 stars in my book.

First, I've ordered from Midway since 1990. I've spent thousands at Midway. Back then, shipping was free on everything. Then, they started charging for shipping, and were no-longer the "best deal". I stayed loyal, and continued to buy from them because they ship fast, and usually have what I'm searching for. The customer service was good. However, something happened as they grew as a company. They got BIG, but something bad happened. I suspect that they have such a huge market, and they no-longer need to care about their customers. First, I had. 22LR on back-order for over a year, while they sold the exact same. 22LR on their site (for a higher price). I contacted them, but was ignored. About a year later, my back-orders were cancelled by Midway. This upset me, but. 22LR is difficult to find, and in high demand. Then, some of my orders were damaged in shipment due to poor packaging. I complained, and they gave me $5.00 in "Midway Money". I also ordered several airrifles that were clearly defective. I suspect that the airrifles were "seconds" or otherwise refurbished guns. All-in-all, Midway is NOT the best for customer service, their shipping charges are excessive, their prices are higher than Amazon, and they realy don't care anymore. If you want loyalty, get a dog. Midway no-longer get my money.
MidwayUSA has a rating of 1.6 stars from 48 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with MidwayUSA most frequently mention and customer service. MidwayUSA ranks 7th among Ammunition sites.
