I reached out to MK customer service regarding a wallet that I received as a gift not even 2 years ago and is already falling apart. I have been a loyal Michael Kors customer for years, and even if they could not assist me with my product issue directly due to it being outside of the warranty period, I assumed they would provide me with a credit of some sort or at the least a general acknowledgement of the issue, considering the luxury price point of their products. However, all I received from customer service was a link to their "partner facility", which would require an additional out of pocket cost on my part and repeated prompts that the product was no longer under warranty.

Buy from Coach

MK, has been the worst online experience I have ever had. I shop online often and buy high end brands often. MK has had the worst customer service, poor communication, shipping is still pending and it has been 17 days since I placed my order. I called twice and was told on second call that the shipping is delayed due to circumstances outside their control. No email was sent to inform me of anything. Money taken from my account but items never shipped. I would highly recommend going to Coach or Coach outlet for better service and prices...

I was given a pair of shoes as a gift from my mother that she purchased in Seattle at your store. The shoes were only worn for a month before the sole split in half... I wrote to Michael Kors several times without response before finally being contacted back regarding a handbag and not my shoes and told that the purchase was past its 90 day warranty but if I wanted could send photos to their repair department and pay for shipping to send it for assessment/repair. I have always loved your products in the past but this is is clearly the result of low quality product manufacturing & materials (the inside of the split soles looks like cardboard was used in manufacturing instead of a solid sole.) Michael Kors needs to make changes to rectify their manufacturing process and product design. If the product quality and materials continue to deteriorate so will your brand loyalty and reputation.

Purchase 2 years ago, wore watch 20 times +- Returned to store for repair last year. Took 5 months to get it back. Wore the watch this am... same problem. Michael Kors you really should work on you products and services. You most likely dont give a $#*! about my purchase and I KNOW I will NEVER receive an apology from ANY of you or your sale reps.
So just go on ripping people off and go $#*! yourself and have a nice day! I've giving you one star because I have no other choice since option 0 star is not available!

Poor return policy
August 31, 2018

Bought a dress for my daughter's wedding, but found a different dress and returned the MK dress because their return policy is 30 days which I missed by a couple of weeks. I'm just accustomed to a much better return policy hence I didn't rush to return.

A company with poor return policy is a struggling company that doesn't have their customers best interest in mind. I'll never shop at MK again and will persuade others to do the same.

I would give a negative if I could. I bought 3 handbags in March. One of the zipper broke when I used the purse for the first time. They asked me to send it back, after 6 weeks no word, when I call 1 hour wait, lot of apologies, not addressing the issue with the purse. Then finally I get transferred to quality, who says it can fixed. Week 12 I get my purse with a different colored zipped, which is all crooked. I call Michael Kors again saying I am not satisfied, they say it is the Michael Kors Zipper and that is all they can do. The purse is not even 6 months old and I have used it only once, now it looks like a knockoff. I Don't buy Michael Kors ever!

I recently bought over $400 of clothes and returned a single item, tags still attached, because I didn't like the style. I received it back in the mail today. Apparently they are not processing the return because the item appears to be 'used'. All I did was try it on. I shop online frequently and I have never had a return not be processed. They've ripped me off.

I was introduced to Michael Kors by my late cousin who adored the brand name, she had every purse, wallet and other items that you can think of. This is one of the reasons why I bought a Michael Kors purse in her memory. I am very sad to say that Michael Kors has not lived up to its brand name. I had purchased a purse and the straps attached to the actual purse was fraying away. I explained this to the representative numerous times on the phone and email and they kept coming back to me with the same response which was an automated response, telling me how concerned they are and wanted to make it better. Repeatedly apologizing but never once did they came up with a solution. For the amount of money spent on this purse I will never buy a Michael Kors again! And I will never recommend anyone to this brand name. I have less expensive purses in my closet that last longer than the almighty to Michael Kors.so disappointing and unacceptable!

Terrible Customer Service

I have bought numerous items from Michael Kors including handbags, boots, watches, wallets, etc. If you try and return and item for exchange, they do not accommodate. If you try and send an item in for repair, they do not accommodate. Michael Kors has, in each case, returned the original item with a note indicating that they are sorry, but cannot help. No additional solutions, no compromise on exchanges, nothing. The lovely watch that was a Christmas present that needed to be exchanged for a similar product and was refused will be the last item purchased from this company.

Did not honor warranty
February 7, 2020

Purchased leather pair of sneakers, found out there is manufacturers defect on inside lining, sent pictures and everything asked, spoke with supervisor, offered poligraph test to prove sneakers came that way, after warranty claim department reviewed it, declined it instantly, even thou I was under warranty time frame.

Cheaply made purse handles.

They don! T stand behind their products. Their purses are very over-priced for the quality you get. My friend purchased a bag for me, then passed away. I wanted this to remember him and his pricy thoughtfulness. The straps fell apart twice. They fixed the first, but refused the second time. Please don't spend your hard earned money on their poor quality handbags.

I am giving them 1 star because it wont let me give any less. I bought a pair of wedges at the store that did not have my size. The sweet girl working made the order so I can receive them at home. I got my shoes quite rapidly, but they were damaged. Looked like someone already wore them since there were scuff marks on the studs and scratches on the straps. I find that revolting. I sent an email to customer support with pictures and without ever reading the email sent me a reply wanting pictures of my shoes?!?!? Like what? Do you actually have people working for you? Or brain dead robots? Since I replied to their email, they have not answered me for 2 days! I am filing a complaint with consumer protection because this is absolutely rediculous

I just wanted to inform you all how horrible your management team is at Vaughan Mills Canada Ontario branch 5602.
Let me start off with this; your assistant visual manager **** has an ego bigger than her body, the way she speaks to people is disgusting all she does is backbite about other associates rather than helping us meet our daily targets. The worst human being that one can encounter has no respect for anyone the only reason she got this job is because of your Regional******. Aside from that *** (general manager), who first off cant even speak English properly has the worst customer service attitude. All she does is criticise on how the sale associates look, and indirectly make fun of them. Im not too sure how she still has her job since a lot of girls left MK because of her attitude. I must say Michael Kors is the number 1 worst company for anyone to work for, they dont respect there associates, they make fun of them.

Spent over $250.00 on one of their purses and a year later the clasp on the shoulder strap broke. When I spend that much I expect it to last longer than a year. I have 10 year old purses that cost $50 and are still in excellent shape. Long story short, they refused to replace the strap as it had a 1 year warranty. At the end of their letter standard letter of response, informing me I was screwed, I was told to "Have a Jet setter day!". I will never buy Michael Kors again.

I purchased a Michael Kors pocketbook for my mother for Christmas and unfortunately she didn't like it. Michael Kors offers free shipping and free returns... however what they fail to tell you even over the holiday season they hold you to the 30 day return policy. I would think such a big national company like Michael Kors they would have some flexibility over the holiday season with returns. Not even willing to give me store credit... I will definitely not be ordering from them again... not very customer service friendly. Buyer beware... think twice before purchasing from Michael Kors

SHIPPING TIMES SUCK
December 25, 2017

Placed an order for Christmas but, lo and behold... did not arrive on time. I will now return both bags since I purchased bags from another designer and they actually shipped and arrived on time. Further, the quality of the other bags is 100x better than MK. His stuff has certainly gone downhill over the past few years. I suppose it is just plain old greed. Stay away.

Horrible return policy

I am so disgusted with the customer service and their lack of flexibility. I bought a pair of shoes that are horrible quality and tried returning them in store and through shipping. They refused to accept the shoes which were in perfect condition despite the fact that I presented the receipt. They needed the shoes to be returned in original condition (box and tag) although this was not indicated on the website. Now I'm stuck with horrible and uncomfortable shoes and -200$. Never purchasing from their website again.

TERRIBLE client practices!

I purchased 2 bags, worth almost $1000. 00, online. One was super big, and I asked to return it. But since 2 minute clear 'zipties' had been removed, in order to get the 2 bags attached inside, and it was the only way to even see them, or remove from the bags. I tried doing online chat, but they literally kept asking me questions and ending the chat without answering my questions, other than very rudely telling me I can't return if ANY tags, including the tiny clear zip ties are missing! I can TOTALLY understand about the main label tags, but the zip tie, which HAS to be removed to even unzip it is ridiculous! So, in my opinion, they purposely package their products in such a way, that you must remove those clear ties, and their 'policy' ensures you can't possibly return it, leaving you stuck with an unusable pricey bag!

I purchased a MK zip around wallet for travel. Have used it on 5 short trips and it is totally falling apart. The "gold" on the inside is flaking all over the place. Unfortunately, cannot return, but MK has some serious quality issues. It is no surprise that the brand has fallen sharply and no one want anything MK anymore
