Ordered costume on 10/12. Received on 10/22. Wore twice, and the skirt zipper and its stitching completely came apart. When I contacted customer service about it, they told me to go to a tailor (and pay for it myself) to get it fixed. Not helpful. When you pay $54 for a costume plus shipping, you shouldn't have to pay more to actually get to wear it more than a couple times. Poor quality, poor customer service.
(11/7) My first order from this site was great. They sent my order out a few days early with the tracking number, and it arrived very quickly. The quality was good for the price point, and I got what I wanted.
Now, I'm having a very different experience. My latest order "shipped" days late (and only after I sent something through their FAQ page contact asking why it hadn't shipped, to which I got no response). I still haven't received a shipment email and there's no tracking number on my order page like there was with my first order. I have sent several emails to them about this already and no one has responded to those. I sent something through their messenger chat on the website, and got a response of "we'll email it", but it's been days and I haven't gotten any further contact through any method. The image attached is the only reply I've been able to get from them at all.
I'm starting to get really pissed off about this, especially since there's really nothing I can do except hope I didn't get scammed. Does anyone know if I can file a claim if this doesn't show up by the date I was promised it would when I ordered it? Because this is ridiculous and I'm not going to let them take my money and not send me anything.
Update (11/11): I received a shipment email on 11/9 around 11:30PM with a tracking number. However, this tracking number has absolutely no location information when I try to add it to my package tracking app. I'm also getting an error asking me if I'm sure the destination country is the US, which is worrying. The link attached to the email for me to track it on the miccostumes site doesn't actually exist. When I attempt to track the package through the carrier's (China Post) website, it tells me the tracking number doesn't exist in their system (yet).
What is happening? Why does my tracking app seem to think that the final destination of the package isn't in the US, which is where it's supposed to end up? And why doesn't he tracking number exist in the carrier's system? Supposedly, it's been over a week since my item shipped, so the grace period of 1-2 days for them to put the package into the system is long past. This is so ridiculous.
(I will update this review if anything changes with this second order.)
I ordered a Bakugo Onesie for my daughter for her costume for Halloween, which is also her birthday. Never received the package within the express delivery date of 27-29. Called FEXEX international on 10/30 and 10/31 and 11/1 and find out that MICCOSTUMES created a shipping label for 10/21 and then canceled it 10/21 without cause or notice! Now, I keep getting the runaround about how they didn't and they're going to contact the courier but, I have proof that they did cancel the shipping label. It never left CN! They will not give me my money back and keep trying to play games. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They steal your money and give false information. I've contacted my bank to get my money back. So sad too because my daughter is such an anime fan, they would have gotten a ton of business from me. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND SHOP AMAZON!
Terrible company. Initially purchased our costumes and were emailed two days later saying they didn't even HAVE the costume their site advertised. I requested immediate refund. Do not shop here!
Been fighting for my refund for almost a month now. So much for Halloween costumes… they say they sent the refund and show "proof" but my bank account clearly shows otherwise. Horrid customer service too they'll respond on a Sunday but not during the week.
I bought an adult size small bathing suit. The top fits my four year old. Although I sent them explanations, pictures, measurements, they keep finding all the excuses in the world. Also sems are really cheaply made. Very poor quality material for 50$.
This was actually the first time I have ever ordered a cosplay from a online store that specifically sells cosplay, I bought the Lisa genshin impact cosplay on may 24th the expected delivery date was on August 14-19th but I got it earlier then expected. When I opened the package I was pretty excited, although a couple of the peices do need a bit of fixed ex. The hat is pretty flimsy and there's not really any support, as well as the lantern that is supposed to hang from the hat was broken even with the bubble wrap to stop it from breaking. Although the cosplay itself didn't meet all my expectations I was pretty amazed that it actually got delivered. Although it did take a bit to get across the Canadian border. Overall I think that miccostumes is a alright cosplay shop and if you have the funds feel free to purchase from them. :)
I've ordered a demon slayer swimsuit off of Miccostumes because I've heard great things about them. Well I ordered the swimsuit in March and it said it would arrive by May 11-13 and it's currently May 17! I've contacted them through email a lot and haven't even gotten a reply. I've looked up why it's taking so long and it said they're probably making the costume but it should of been done by now and others have gotten theirs way faster! Honestly do not buy from Miccostumes they're service sucks and are most likely a scam!
It is really good quiality and it very well made, but if you have large chest don't big. I got a large, where the bottom fit, but the top was more of a small than large. If I got the extra large the bottom would be too big. I'm scared how small the extra large would be with the large top being so small. I was so upset that I feel like I wasted my money for a suit I can't even wear. That do not take in consideration for large chested woman.
Do not buy from here. This company is terrible! Do not buy anything from here they just take your money and never send you the item you ordered. I waited almost half a year for my costume to arrive, sadly nothing came. I sent the company a message asking where is my order and asking for a refund. After a few days they replied. And they didn't refund or even answer my question. I'm never buying from here ever AGAIN!
There's not a lot anyone can do either, but their designs are poorer versions of more dedicated small businesses.
Not sure why everyone is having issues with the shipping but my experience with this company has always been positive. Every outfit I've purchased more than met my expectations. If you are worried about delivery or quality then I suggest you go buy some of their stuff from amazon. Worst case you can return it. Great company!

I've received Queen Anna Frozen 2 cosplay costume and wig from Miccostumes and I really love it! The fabric is really soft and perfectly sewed and all the decorations are sewed not glue on fabric! So it makes this costume perfect!
I'm not so satisfied by the wig cause the chignon is fixed with hot glue and I don't like it but the fibers are heat resistant and the color is great!
My friend bought me a karsuno jacket 2 years a go and I never received it. I'm disappointed by the company. I also did try reaching about my situation and I never received an email back.
Package never arrived and company did nothing about it. I would give them a zero if I could. Do not use this company. Their customer support is non-existent.
This company charged me 4 times for an outfit. Never sent me an email confirmation. They only refunded me for three of the transactions and is saying that they never charged me and I will not be getting my daughter's Halloween costume but yet they charged me and refused to refund my money saying that they never charged me. Highly unprofessional rude and steal your money. I highly suggest that you do not order from these people and you let all your friends know too.
Absolutely terrible. Ordered an earring for cosplay back in february and with COVID going on I completely understand that it would take longer than usual. I even wrote an extra note to my order that their safety comes first and that I don't mind if it gets delayed a bit. The payment goes through and that's that. 3 months pass and when I went back to check on my order it was still processing (?!) I wait two more weeks and after seeing that it was still processing I messaged them and asked what was going on. Got a simple reply back a few days later "We have the earring do you still want it?" Still want it? Well yes, and not like they gave me an option to get my money back. I thought first that maybe covid was affecting things but their facebook page showed that they were actively shipping out cosplays to others. Anyway, a month later the earring finally came and it was rusty so I won't be able to use it. Terrible quality, bad communication. Don't waste your money.
I ordered a Blair, from Soul Eater, cosplay from them and overall I'd say it was very mediocre at best. The quality of the costume I'd say was very, well, Party City. The costume had no stretch and no elastic anywhere and thus was a pain to get on because of the stitching in the waistline, and it ended up ripping slightly while I was trying to take it off. Somehow still, when I put it on the costume was too big around the bodice and was also a bit long for my torso. It also didn't help that they never sent me any texts or emails about a tracking number when it had shipped, and they didn't respond any of the times I reached out asking for one. So, pretty much, I spent a whole week worried if I would even receive it or not. I also tried to review the product on their website and it would just not let me for some reason, which seemed pretty odd. Their return policy is also pretty bad and a bit over complicated, as they have several different return policy pages that all say slightly different things. Overall I'd say that I don't feel I really got my money's worth, and judging by all the other reviews of people who purchased something and never even received it, I'd say you're better off searching for a more reliable website, like maybe etsy, or just trying to make it yourself.
I loved the products I got from miccostumes. Everything was high quality and fit well to their sizing charts they had on the website. I would recommend cosplays from their company and will be using them again in the future.
Answer: This company is awful. Used the size guides provided and chose what, in theory, was the perfect size. It wasn't. It was way too small. In two different areas. One was a halterneck strap that was probably like 5/6 inches too small, the other is the bust/design at the front that should cover the bust. Even on someone who is THREE sizes smaller than me most of the time the halterneck is way too small. And the company expects me to either pay a fortune to send it back, or pay out of my own pocket to have a dressmaker put in a new halterneck strap. They've totally ignored the fact that the bust and design of the front of the dress is too small. They just expect me to not wear a bra or "a chest sticker" or have any support or cover at all. It's a thin dress and it'll be a costume party WITH KIDS AND ELDERLY RELATIVES ETC. They're also SO RUDE and don't listen at all. Avoid them!
